Landon’s shirt says it all, the perfect little gentleman:-) I love his little hat and that vintage chair. It’s actually a family heirloom as it was Lauren’s grandmother’s and we moved it outside in the pretty light of Lauren and Zach’s front yard. 6 months old, 2 little teeth, loves to play and has so much love in his life already!
I was looking back and actually got to start working with Aljerome in 2014 and he was working on building his vision which is Collar and Combs. Definitely check out www.collarandcombs.com, I love what they do, “Collar and Combs is a refined, but trend-conscious, personal style service for men. The company provides personalized style fashion and style recommendations based on each client’s taste and interests.” These are a few of my favs from the shoots I’ve gotten to work with him on. He always likes to be serious so I always try and make him smile and laugh:-) It’s so cool to hear my client’s vision and then see it become a reality. Awesome job Aljerome!
Ivanna and CJ are getting married at Stonebridge this coming November and it’s such a gorgeous property they decided to do their engagement session there as well! I mean, literally so many beautiful spots, we’ve photographed lots of weddings and events over the years there and there’s endless prettiness there. As you can see we had a blast just hanging out and having fun. Their outfit choices and colors were totally on point and looked amazing!! So fun working with you guys!!
Our plan was to do an anniversary session with Erin and Matt right around their 2nd wedding anniversary this past November. All that crazy rain we had last year ended up making it a happy new year session, which was totally worth the wait! Erin incorporated the forest green color from the wedding and the Dr. Who Tardis that made an appearance at the wedding too:-) I love how fun and totally them this session was, plus those sparkly shoes!! So great seeing you guys again!!!
This first picture is my favorite of these 3! I think it embodies what happiness and love actually looks like:-) Mohan is SO adorable and just turned 6 months old. They wanted a pretty outdoor location and I love the deep and light blues look and those cute baby jeans!! I had the honor of photographing Lisa and Tushar’s wedding just over 3 years ago and there’s nothing I love more than seeing them so happy as a party of 3!!
We got to work with these beautiful ladies and gorgeous gowns from The White Closet Bridal at Armature Works for some real bridal style. Esther was in 2 different styles from Stella York one flowy design with pockets and a full lace gown with crystal jewelry and hair piece. Ashley wore 2 different Justin Alexander looks that were sleek and elegant and a little Marilyn Monroe:-) The wind made for some fabulous veil shots and even some behind the scenes of how we got them that I couldn’t resist sharing:-) I love this shoot because the goal was some fun and carefree looks of real brides in these styles. So fun working with you all!!!

I could not be happier for these 2! 5 years ago I photographed Samantha and Ryan’s wedding at the Italian Club in Ybor and the moved to California but were back to celebrate with friends and family. They have a little girl on way due in April. We did a few portraits before the party and the shower theme was pink and purple with beautiful florals, amazing cupcakes, and a chocolate bar favor that said “sweet baby girl Taylor”. Samantha’s mom had the perfect gift, baby girl’s first pair of red bottom booties. Congratulations again you guys it was so fun to see you all!
Michelle and Ryan are getting married 2.1.20 at Covington Farm! When we were were talking engagement sesh locations she mentioned her parents are building a home in Tierra Verde. The views are stunning and bright coastal look was perfect. It’s not quite finished but how special to have these sweet moments there. Ryan is a Hillsborough County Fire Fighter so we incorporated his gear in some as well. So fun working with you guys!!
Probably my favorite thing people say when they see their photos is “that’s so us”! Really that’s why I love photography, it’s capturing the essence and personality of something you can’t necessarily “see” and making it visible. Anyway, I say that because that’s what Nicole and Rob said about their session:-) Rob’s kids, Avery, and Maddox joined them for some really pretty family photos as well. They are getting married at The Orlo this June and since it’s such a stunning location it was perfect for their engagement session as well!
Ritu and Ananth had a beautiful weekend of events with friends and family from near and far celebrating their engagement. We started the weekend with them at the Tampa Garden Club before their guests arrived for portraits on bayshore. Their pink and ivory colors with the greenery and florals looked amazing!
Ananth’s mom, Lakshmi, is an event planner and created this garden style decor with gold, ivory, and greenery. Their guests sipped mimosas and mingled in the garden with Ritu and Ananth greeting them. Inside there was a fabulous croissant station created by A Piece of Cake, and literally any kind of espresso and cappuccino by Cafe Ala Carte. Each of the tables were even named different, herbs, flowers and plants. Ananth’s parents and sister toasted to how excited and proud they are of this amazing couple, there was cake and then after brunch a classical sitar performance. Congratulations again Ritu and Ananth!! We’ll have more tomorrow of their session at the Hindu Temple.
We’re so lucky here in Florida to have so much outdoor beauty. When we were planning location with Alex and Lauren, they hadn’t been to Philippe Park before but fell in love with the tree canopy when I showed them some of the other sessions we’ve done there. The 2 photos are the top are my personal favorites because it honestly wouldn’t matter what the location it’s all about the authentic moments and who they are as a couple. Lauren had found some super cute signs from Hobby Lobby she might use for the wedding and added an extra special little detail to their session. I can’t wait until we get to photograph their wedding 4.13.19!!!
Jenna and Kevin live in Maryland but where down here to celebrate the holidays in Florida and I got to see them for their engagement session. They wanted their session and their save the dates to be in perfect Tampa style and there’s no better place for that the UT. We just walked around all the pretty spots and chatted and had so much fun. They will be Mr. & Mrs. Madden and if you know me you know I love a good wedding hashtag and theirs is #maddenlyinlove coming this December!!
Definite cuteness overload in this session with Hailey! Melissa and Mike wore their aviator Ray Bans in their engagement session and I love that they used them and baby ones for Hailey in this one too. I want a pair of those little cowboy boots in my size. The sunlight in Hollis Gardens that day was so pretty and the white fountain was perfect for a little backdrop with that red tutu and santa hat!
This little cutie is already being recruited by colleges :-) He’s only 6 months and is already standing and ready to be on the run! The light and tree canopy at Philippe Park was perfect for especially the orange Clemson gear. Erin, Joe, and Wake, We always love seeing you guys!!
Jennifer and Craig met while both working from Publix and so it was only fitting that they have their wedding at the Lone Palm, built by George Jenkins himself! The property is stunning as you will see:-) Jennifer wore a gorgeous lace gown with her mother’s diamond necklace. The girls were in navy with calla lilies and the dark gray with silver ties.
Their ceremony was in front of the lake and I LOVE the acrylic and floral backdrop. Jennifer had her 2 daughters walk her down the aisle, and Craig’s son was his best man. Their adorable grandson and granddaughter were the ring bearer and flower girl. Jennifer’s dad is so funny, he said his daughter had found her Mr. Wright, which is the new last name:-)
Can we please talk about this sunset? It is one of, if not the prettiest we have ever seen or gotten to photograph!!! The funny thing is it’s not on the beach, on a lake:-) Linda and I were freaking out at how stunning it is with these 2!
The team from 2 Sisters Events is AMAZING to work with! They created the white and crystal details. Their cake even looked like it was covered in crystal. Everyone clearly loves these 2 and everyone had an amazing time dancing the night away. Jennifer and Craig we could not be happier for you 2 and so honored that we got to be there!! xoxoxo
I think it might be the holidays, but I’m totally in love with the little things for anything nostalgic. That super cute little dress was one that Marissa wore she was a baby and that rocking chair was Scott’s. I love that they included such special things. Little miss Lucy was very serious about her 1 year old portraits:-) I think my favorite thing about sessions with babies and little kids is being able to see how much they adore their children, exactly like this one. What a doll!
Valerie & Bob were winners of a fun little engagement session contest we did this fall. The goal was to do some different and creative engagement sessions that are totally these couples. They told me one of their favorite things to do is watch Netflix and hang out with their sweet pup Patty so that’s what we did! They jumped in their PJs and flipped on the Office. Bob said the screenshot of Pam is perfect because he always says Valerie is his Pam. Patty is so cute and very photogenic as you will see…..
Valerie and Bob love to hang out at Ballast Point which is super close to where they live so we headed there close to dusk and the light was perfect, you can even see downtown Tampa in the background. When I saw them yesterday for their unveiling session I found out that we had done Bob’s sister’s wedding (Robin and Armen) 4 years ago, how fun is that?
Alia and Jay’s wedding was a fusion of America, British, and Indian accents with amethyst and gold as the color palette. Alia wore a sari for the ceremony with beautiful crystal detail on the back and the perfect Manolo Blahniks. The girls all got ready at their Air B&B on the waterfront in St. Pete while the guys were getting ready at NOVA. Alia and Jay did their first look before the ceremony in the bamboo garden, all the greenery and those colors looked amazing. They spent a few minutes together before all the fun began!
Alia and Jay’s ceremony was also in the bamboo garden after the sunset. Lined with candles, strung lights, and candelabras it was so pretty at night. They did a tasting of different things that are part of a relationship. Lemon for the sour times, honey for the sweet times, vinegar for the bitter times, and hot sauce for the spicy times. They also had a little bag of jelly beans that matched the flavors for each of their guests to participate which was really a cool way to include everyone in their ceremony.
Alia had Amethyst as the color but also actual amethyst as part of the table decor! Black and amethyst table linens with lanterns and floral boxes decorated the tables. They had each table named after a country that their travels had taken them and little pink and gold globes on them as well. They had 2 special serenades from the cutest guests and after dinner Alia changed into an ivory wedding gown for their first dance. Their friends and family traveled from near and very far to celebrate their wedding as well as they are expecting a little baby to arrive in December! So many congratulations to you guys and can’t wait to see you as a family of 3!! xoxoxo
Heather and Crafton’s beautiful family is now a party of 4!! I remember when Tag was born and he’s already 2 and so cute and ready to be a great big brother. Tag also wore this little white diaper cover. I love the light and colors Heather and Crafton’s room, it was perfect and Banks snoozed his way through most of our session:-)
We did a little engagement session contest in October and Becca and Pete were one of our couples who one! It was all about doing something different and fun and we totally did! Becca picked some of the cool art murals in St. Pete, although some of them were not the same as on the map but all turned out really cool:-) Pete is a musician who rarely wears shoes and Becca taught him how to longboard. While we we walking around Pete noticed a giant mural of bunnies and they happen to have pet bunnies so it was perfect! Once the sunset we had a little fun with the citrus mural and even caught the moon in a few!
