After nearly 9 years together, Annastasia and James tied the knot in the most heartfelt and personal way—with a wedding that felt exactly like them. Originally planned for the Friday after Hurricane Milton, they made the decision to postpone and reschedule their big day to 2025. And when the time finally came, every detail was worth the wait.
Held at the Ever After Farms Flower Barn in Seffner, Florida, their wedding was an intentional celebration focused on fun, connection, and creating an inclusive atmosphere for everyone—from lifelong friends to the youngest guests.
A Venue as Charming as Their Love Story
The Flower Barn at Ever After Farms is the perfect blend of rustic charm and natural beauty. With whitewashed barn walls, elegant chandeliers, and sprawling farmland, it creates a timeless backdrop for any couple. They did a first look and read their private vows they had written to each other under the tree canopy.
What made their wedding truly special was the ceremony held beneath the venue’s iconic giant oak tree—a serene, shaded spot that felt both timeless and intimate. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and their closest loved ones, Annastasia and James exchanged heartfelt vows in a ceremony officiated by their dear friend Daniella, making it all the more personal and meaningful.
A Roller Derby Love Story
One of our favorite parts of their day was how many personal touches they wove in that reflected their lives and relationship. Both Annastasia and James are involved in roller derby (how cool is that?), and they’re especially close with Kristie and Geoff, one of our other derby couples who were there to celebrate alongside them.
That sense of community and friendship was felt in every part of the day—from the relaxed seating arrangements to the laughter echoing during the toasts.
Casual, Fun, and Completely Them
Instead of a formal affair, they created a vibe that felt more like an epic backyard celebration with all your favorite people. They kept things child-friendly and low-key, with lots of space for kids to run around and enjoy themselves. And let's not forget one of the most fun elements of the night: a fire pit and s'mores station that made for the coziest outdoor lounge area.
Guests roasted marshmallows, swapped stories, and just enjoyed hanging out under the stars. It was the perfect way to cap off a joyful day that was all about love, laughter, and togetherness.
