Carrie Wildes Photography has been documenting weddings, portraits, and celebrations since 2008. What began as Carrie’s passion for storytelling through photography has grown into a trusted Tampa Bay photography team known for creating beautiful images and an effortless client experience.
At the heart of everything we do is the belief that photography should feel natural, joyful, and completely stress-free. Our goal is simple: to create timeless images that allow you to relive the emotion and energy of your day for decades to come.

Meet Carrie
Founder & Lead Photographer
In 2007, my husband David and I traded the frozen winters of Chicago for sunshine and salt air in Tampa. Not long after, I founded Carrie Wildes Photography in 2008.
Before photography, I earned my degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue and worked in the corporate world, traveling internationally and experiencing incredible cultures along the way. Those experiences shaped the way I see the world and ultimately led me to fall in love with photojournalism and storytelling.
Photography became more than a creative outlet. It became a way to capture the beauty, emotion, and connection between people during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. One of my personal favorite things I get to do is help people feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
Over the years I’ve had the privilege of photographing hundreds of weddings, families, and milestones, and I still feel incredibly grateful every time a couple trusts me to document their day.
I’m also proud to be a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) and Craftsman Photographer (Cr.) through Professional Photographers of America.
When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll usually find me boating, traveling, watching HGTV, or spending time with our two daughters who we adopted in 2014 and who bring so much joy to our lives.
Meet Linda
Lead Photographer
Linda is Carrie’s right hand on wedding days and a huge part of the experience our clients receive behind the scenes.
She is our 2nd lead photographer on weddings alongside Carrie and also leads many of our corporate and event photography assignments.
Her photography style focuses on capturing genuine, unscripted moments as they naturally unfold from a 2nd perspective. She is one of the kindest and most calming people you will ever meet.
Originally from Minnesota and Oregon, Linda now lives near the beach in Bradenton and loves traveling, live music, and spending time with animals.
