Christina + Dan’s Clearwater Destination Wedding at the Wyndham Grand

Christina and Dan share a romantic dip-and-kiss moment down the petal-strewn aisle after their beachfront ceremony at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach, surrounded by seated guests and a wooden sign reading "shoes here, vows there, love everywhere

Christina and Dan’s wedding at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach was everything you’d dream of for a Clearwater destination wedding—elegant, coastal, and full of heartfelt, personal touches. With light pink and neutral tones, every detail felt perfectly soft, romantic, and beachy. The girls got ready in Christina and Dan’s suite after they were done with hair and makeup while the guys did photos and hung out in the lobby after they were ready.

Christina and Dan’s beachfront ceremony at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach was absolutely stunning. The Gulf provided the perfect backdrop as they said “I do” beneath a simple wooden arch adorned with florals that echoed their soft, romantic color palette of light pink and neutrals. Guests kicked off their shoes and settled into the sand to witness the heartfelt vows, and just as they sealed it with a kiss, they shared the sweetest dip-and-kiss moment as they walked back up the aisle—cue all the cheers and happy tears!

After the ceremony, we moved into wedding party and family photos right on the beach, capturing the joy and love of everyone there to celebrate. The weather gave us the most perfect overcast sky, which acted like a giant softbox—so flattering for everyone and ideal for portraits. There was even a hint of pink and blue in the clouds, giving everything that dreamy Clearwater glow without the harsh sun.

Before guests entered the reception space on the 3rd floor, we did a quick room reveal with Christina and Dan. It was so sweet watching them take in all the beautifully set tables, lush florals, and décor they had worked so hard to plan. Their cake was a unique (and delicious!) twist: a Nothing Bundt Cake tower with mini Bundtinis for guests to enjoy.

One of our favorite wedding details was how they found a way to include their sweet pup, Jax, even though he couldn’t physically be there. Custom drink stirrers with his face read, “Drinks on me – Love, Jax,” and they were such a hit with guests! It was a fun and memorable way to incorporate their furry family member into their big day. He was also on their custom cake topper as well! Another incredible detail? The oyster shells! Christina and Dan hand-painted each one themselves as guest favors. It was definitely a labor of love, but such a cool, personal touch that made their guests feel extra special.

We planned their Clearwater Beach wedding photography timeline so they’d have a chance to relax and enjoy cocktail hour. Then, as guests were being seated, we snuck out for sunset photos—and wow, what a sunset! The sky had that dreamy, cotton candy glow with wispy clouds drifting over the Gulf. It was the perfect, peaceful moment before the party kicked off.

Their first dance was literally on a cloud, thanks to a low-lying fog machine that made the moment feel like a fairytale. From there, everyone hit the dance floor and celebrated the night away.

Christina and Dan’s wedding was a beautiful mix of style, sentiment, and celebration—and the perfect example of why we love photographing Clearwater Beach weddings! They had such a fun party and danced the night away!!!!
