Emmah + Josh | Organic & Waterfront Engagement Session at Cypress Point Park

When Emmah and I first chatted about her and Josh’s engagement session, she had such a beautiful, intentional vision for it. She wanted the style to be lifestyle-inspired, organic, neutral, and centered around a waterfront vibe—basically all of my favorite things to photograph! She even wanted to end in the water, which made it extra dreamy.

Cypress Point Park in Tampa was the perfect location to bring that vision to life. With its peaceful shoreline, soft sand, and golden-hour light, it gave us the ideal backdrop for their love to shine through.

Emmah brought two stunning looks—one a lacy, more formal dress that gave such an ethereal, romantic feel, and the second a flowing, modern gown that caught the wind just perfectly. From start to finish, these two were down for anything and totally trusted the process. They’re the absolute sweetest, and it was so fun capturing the authentic, joyful connection between them.

The moments we captured felt effortless—laughing, walking barefoot on the beach, and eventually wading into the calm Gulf waters together. This session was truly a reflection of who they are: natural, in love, and full of joy. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day—it’s going to be just as incredible!
