{Monica & Trevor @ Lido Beach Resort}

Monica & Trevor planned their destination wedding on the beautiful white sand at the Lido Beach resort.  Monica's daughter, Makenzie, was so excited to be the flower girl and wear her pretty dress and flower crown.  Monica's son, Bryson, walked his mom down the aisle to meet Trevor.  It was such a sweet and emotional moment as they 4 of them poured the sand ceremony together as a family.  The stormy sky turned into a beautiful cloudy sunset.  Monica and Trevor climbed out on the rock wall and it was just so pretty!  Congrats Monica & Trevor!! xoxox

Candice & Steven's Wedding Album

This little beauty is in our office and will be on it's way home soon!  Candice and Steven chose a wedgewood blue leather and photo printed on metal cover for their wedding album.  Some of our favorite moments were first look (including their dog Blalock:-) all of their amazingly unique details including the Taco Bus and hand made Florida mugs, and their sparkler exit to the water taxi.  We hope you guys enjoy flipping through and enjoying your wedding story for years to come!

Happy Mother's Day!

Some of our favorite moments are always the priceless ones with moms and sons and daughters and grandma's.  These are just a few of the countless ones we have had the privilege of capturing.  Wishing all of you moms, grandmas and also to those of you who have taken on that role to influence the next generation.  Have an amazing day!!! xoxoxo

{Rocky & Evelyn @ Cross Creek Ranch}

Rocky and Evelyn's wedding story is like none other we've done before:-) You might not know this but in Tampa there are police officers whose full time job is helping provide help and services to the homeless.  This is how Officer Dan McDonald met Rocky and Evelyn as they had been homeless, living in a tent in the woods the past 3 years off of Manhattan and Interbay.  Yes, that is South Tampa. The story began with him getting them a $93 marriage license so it would become easier for them to get housing.  Bonnie & Sean, who own Cross Creek Ranch, saw the story on the news and offered to give this couple the wedding of their dreams.  When Bonnie called and told me the story, and asked if we would photograph it I couldn't have been more excited, and honored to be included.
     Their wedding date was 4.1.16, April Fools day, which I don't think could have been more appropriate!  I got to know Evelyn and hear a little about her story while she was getting ready.  She's a fellow Ohioan like me and was so nervous and so excited for this day to be here.  The team at Cross Creek and every wedding professional involved made sure every single detail was perfect and really showed such love to a couple who was not only getting married, but celebrating a new start to their life.  Their little dog Princess was the flower girl and when Rocky saw Evelyn walk down the aisle he said "WOW" and had the best reaction.
     Their story has been on all the local news channels as well as ABC, NBC, the Today Show, Inside Edition and the list goes on.  The title is usually something like "Homeless Couple Gets Dream Wedding", but Evelyn and Rocky aren't homeless anymore.  They went from living in the woods the day before their wedding to staying at the B&B at Cross Creek, 2 nights at the Hilton, and then Monday April 4th moving into their very own completely furnished apartment!  At the rehearsal dinner, Officer Dan surprised them with the keys to their very own apartment and are part of the Permanent Supportive Housing Program which helps get them working and back on their feet again.  Nancy and Jean, from Cross Creek, even brought them their very first dinner in their new place.  It was amazing to be a part of this dream team of companies that came together to do something positive out of love, and because we could.  I can't wait to deliever their wedding album full of all these moments to them!  Congrats Rocky & Evelyn!!!

{Vanessa and Blake @ The Palmetto Club}

It was such a gorgeous day for Vanessa & Blake's coral and grey wedding at the Palmetto Club!  Vanessa had a special 4 legged friend there to help her with getting ready:-)  Just before the ceremony Vanessa and Blake toasted around the corner just before walking down the aisle.  The lawn of the Palmetto Club was decorated with white lanterns and beautiful flowers.  Their flower girls held a sign that said "here comes your high school sweetheart" Blake definitely had a tear as he saw Vanessa for the first time:-)  They incorporated a little bit of fishing into their wedding style and tied a fisheman's knot to signify their unity.  Their escort cards were attached to fishing lures with a sign that said "O-fish-ally Hooked". The light in the garden for photos with them and the bridal party was just gorgeous and we had so much fun with them! Their reception was decorated in white and gray with pops of coral in the center pieces.  They had a fantastic donut station with all different flavors and a little cake for them to cut.  Once they entered there was just so many sweet and fun moments, especially as they danced with their parents.  Everyone really just plain had an amazing time!! Congrats Vanessa & Blake!!! xoxo

{Jessica and Steve @ St. Petersburg Woman's Club}

Jessica and Steve had a pink and grey styled wedding, perfect for the waterfront St. Petersburg Woman’s Club. Jessica’s bouquet was made of pink and white roses and succulents and she wore a pearl bracelet and pearl earrings Steve had gotten her as a gift. The perfect finishing touch were silver sparkly keds! The guys are all hockey fans and they wore socks from their favorite team.  Their boutonnieres were roses attached to wine corks! They said their I do’s on the lawn and we had just gorgeous light for their photos on the water after the ceremony.  The Woman’s Club was decorated with white and pink linens, gray chair ties.  I love their favor, it said “Something old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Brewed” and had a tag to invite everyone to their after party the next day.  Everyone really just had an amazing time, dancing, eating, and so many fun moments we loved capturing!! Congrats Jessica & Steve!!! xoxoxo

{Caroline & Brandon @ 1930 Grande Room}

Caroline and Brandon are some of the sweetest and most gracious people you will ever meet! Caroline is the youngest of 5 girls you can tell how important their family and friends are to both of them.  Caroline's mom and sister helped her get ready and she looked so gorgeous in her layered gown with a crystal broach and bouquet of roses and orchids.  Here something blue was a tiny heart painted on her toe:-) Brandon spent some time with his friends just hanging out at Gaspar's Grotto before they headed off for him to see Caroline at the end of the aisle!  They officially became Mr. & Mrs. Waraksa at Our Lady of Perpetual Help just down the street from their reception at the 1930 Grande.  It was such a gorgeous day with beautiful light in Ybor and we even caught a trolley passing by.  Their reception style was modern with slate gray and accents of purple and fuchsia with crystal accents. Stone Chef created a fantastic custom menu served family style.  The best part was the mini donut tower at the end of the evening:-) Caroline's family is Vietnamese and incorporated elements of their culture.  Caroline's dad gave a toast in Vietnamese and her sister translated.  The toasts their friends and bridal party gave were hilarious and so sweet.  Congrats Caroline and Brandon!!! xoxox

{Kayla and Alex @ Lange Farm}

Navy, cream, and gold with orange accents was the color palette for Kayla and Alex’s elegant garden house wedding.  Kayla’s lace gown had off the shoulder cap sleeves with a navy and cream sash, so pretty! Her bridesmaids all wore different styles of navy dresses that coordinated perfectly with the guys beige suits and navy ties. The orange floral accents they had for the ceremony and in the flowers looked so pretty against the outdoor backdrop.  Dusk time there is just gorgeous!  We got so many beautiful shots of these two, and the weather was just perfect!  The reception was decorated with navy and gold linens, orange floral center pieces, and a s’more for each of their guests to take home!  Their sweets table was to die for with cake, truffles, and all kinds of treats to dip in the chocolate fountain!  Kayla and Alex’s son Josh, had a special seat at the sweetheart tableJ So many sweet memories made up their story and we loved capturing it!  Congrats Kayla and Alex!!! xoxoxo

{Jessie and Todd @ Davis Island Garden Club}

This was an extra special one because we’ve known Jessie for a number of years now.  Not only does she work for Breezin and is a wedding friendor, but, she’s been a bridesmaid in quite of few of her friend’s weddings that we’ve photographed as well!  She’s even caught the bouquet at least once that we’ve seen:-)  Ashley and Candace were 2 of her bridesmaids, so it was so nice to see them again too!  I would say her wedding style was modern simplicity, with the colors being black and white with gold accents.  Jessie wore her grandmother’s engagement ring that has been passed down over the years.  In the box was a note that said who has also worn it and their wedding date, so they can add 11.21.15 to the post it.  They did a first look and bridal party photos beforehand so they could enjoy every minute of the party.  The most unique detail we loved was that they had an artist at the back of the ceremony, literally sketching it out on canvas as it unfolded!  They had the cutest flower girls and ring bears, the little ones rode down the aisle in style.  Jessie’s brother officiated, and they did a toast with the bridal party during the ceremony. Jessie and Todd met at a kickball game so they had a kickball there for all their guests to sign!  The reception was decorated with long family style tables with striped black and white runners, white lanterns, and gold chargers and sparkly table numbers.  The perfect finishing touch was the black and white checkered dance floor for everyone to dance on under the crystal chandeliers.  Lots and lots of dancing and fun moments for these 2! Congrats Jessie & Todd!!!  So happy for you and honored to be a party of! xoxox

{Candice & Mike @ Bird Island Lake Ranch}

Candice and Mike had a rustic, outdoor wedding under the canopy of trees at Bird Island Lake Ranch.  They had yellow and orange florals and bumble bee accents.  If you look very closely you can even see a bumble bee flying by in the photo of the center piece!:-)  Candice love flip flops, and Mike surprised her with a blue flip flop bracelet as a gift.  The backstory is what makes it awesome.  Before they were engaged around her birthday, she wanted this blue flip flop bracelet but thought it was too expensive.  Mike had hinted that he was getting her something blue and sparkly, and she of course thought it was the expensive bracelet and for a week tried to convince him to return it!  Her actual gift was Mike proposing to her and an engagement ring with a blue stone!  After the ceremony the light was just plain gorgeous for their photos!  They toasted and danced under the twinkle lights and evening sky.  Cheers to the new Mr & Mrs!!! xoxoxo
