Samantha and Colton had one of the most fun engagement sessions ever! The love all things comic book, Star Wars, and games. When they mentioned maybe doing their engagement session at Coliseum of Comics I was like, um, YES! I love that this session is so them and the things they love to spend time together doing. For their wedding sign in they are going to do a Jenga game, where everyone will sign a piece. Sam found those blue and gold dice with their wedding month and year which totally match her engagement ring. They told me that while they were dating they figured out that they BOTH had the same exact Chewbacca onesie, it couldn’t be more meant to be than that! We can’t wait until 4.11.20!!! Extra special thank you to Coliseum of Comics for being so kind to allow us to use their awesome store!
Britaini and Tyler had the most beautiful dream wedding at the Sheraton Sand Key. Britaini and her mom planned every little detail to be so fun and personal right down to their wedding #newlywebbs. Their custom charcuterie board is my favorite! The girls had a blast hanging in their cute custom robes with some glitter and confetti before getting bridal ready. Britaini’s gown had a tiny hint of blush with lace overlay and those rose gold sparkly Keds were the cherry on top!
Tyler and the boys were in light gray with aqua ties that coordinated with the girls tiffany blue dresses. They wanted to soak in as much as they possibly could, so we did a first look in the garden with just Britaini and Tyler and then family and wedding party photos in the lobby.
Their ceremony was decorated with white florals and chairs with kind of a floating archway. Tyler’s Uncle officiated as they said their I Do’s in the sand with the gulf in the background. As the exited as the official Mr. & Mrs. Webb you could see and feel how happy everyone is for them and how dearly loved they are! Then it was off to the beach for some sweet moments of the wedding party and just Britaini and Tyler as the sun was setting.
Their reception was decorated in white florals and greenery and the blue uplighting really framed the ambiance of the room. Tyler even had a chocolate groom’s cake with chocolate covered strawberries that looked like footballs on it. There were little boxes for everyone to take some sweet treats of macaroons and little mini desserts home with them. After the wedding party made their fabulous entrance, Britaini and Tyler’s first dance had a little extra flair:-) Britaini’s maid of honor, Beatrice, and Tyler’s best man, Stephen both toasted to how perfect these 2 are for each other and how they couldn’t be happier for them. They exited to sparkler fountains and then went back and danced and danced until they couldn’t anymore. Congratulations Britaini and Tyler we are so honored to have been there to capture your wedding story!
Alyx and Billy live in San Diego, but grew up here in Florida and wanted to have a romantic and beautiful Florida wedding with their friends and family. We did first look with just the 2 of them in the tranquility garden, could their really be a better spot for first look? The burgundy and deep red with the white flowers really made it look stunning. Their ceremony was with a beautiful view of the bay. Alyx did a little group hug with all her girls which was one of our favorite moments because it was just sweet and impromptu! We had the perfectly clouded day with textury clouds for sweet photos of the 2 of them on the fishing pier.
The romantic style continued throughout their reception decor with gold accents, lanterns, and lots of white florals and greenery. Their sweetheart table was so pretty with Mr. & Mrs. signs and beautiful florals. My favorite detail was the bride and groom topper with them grabbing each other’s tushes!:-) Their event designer, Georgette, from Pea to Tree did an amazing job creating their dream wedding. It was an evening full of love and such sweet moments for Alyx and Billy, thank you guys for having us be a part of it!!
Ok, this one is going to be hard to keep short. Jana has been one of my longest time friends in Tampa, she owns Events in Bloom and we became fast friends over 10 years ago when we were first starting out. I met Chuck when they first started dating 10 years ago on a photo shoot Jana and I were doing. Chuck carried my gear around and was so nice and I knew they were meant to be! There have been a few of us (Alla Levin:-) that have been trying to get them married off for quite a few years now. So, I was beyond ecstatic to be a guest and have Miriam (one of our amazing lead photographers) photograph their wedding!!
If you know Jana, she is beyond creative and didn’t want anything traditional. She and Christal, from CKG Events literally came up with the most amazing wedding ever! Jana and Chuck wanted their closest friends and family (and something inside since it was July:-) So, they chose Casper’s Service Company which is actually an industrial test kitchen! Their ceremony was inside with clear ghost chairs and the fabulous and wonderful Nancy Spooner who officiated a beautiful and fun ceremony with coordinated vows. I honestly can’t put the happiness they had and we all had for them into words so you just have to look……..
The reception was family style with these gorgeous florals and branches along with kind of feathery unique details. Their escort cards were everyone’s names cutout in gold both on the chargers and on champagne glasses for the toast. Jana makes all kind of awesome signs and 2 of them were my favorite, Eat Drink & Remarry and “Too smart to leave her so we’re makin’ her a Weaver.” The best part was the reception was an interactive dinner with Chef Nathan from Steelbach. He explained every course, how and why he chose the ingredients and it was SO good we could have stopped after h'orderves but then there was salad, main, and dessert. You all know I’m obsessed with dessert and of course tried everything. Tiramisu, strawberry shortcake, sea salt chocolate chip cookies and CEREAL MILK. There were these little cups of chocolate milk and I told Chef Nathan it looked like when my kids soak their cocoa puffs. He was like, yeah, that’s exactly what it is, cocoa puffs soaked for 4 hours. It was so fun and we couldn’t be happier for the brand new Mr. & Mrs. Weaver!!

Matt and Tracey are getting married at Safety Harbor Resort next March and they love the little downtown area at Safety Harbor. The historic tree in the square is one of those iconic spots and the light and greenery is just so pretty. We had so much fun with these two and can not wait until their wedding next year!
Angelea and her mom, Linda, planned an amazing pink, gold, and rose gold glam styled sweet 16 at Tampa Palms! Before the party we got to do a little shoot with Angelea and all her besties including a balloon release!
Look at the cake! The entire 3rd layer was covered in gold sugar! Sequined linens with gold charges and geometric table numbers decorated the room. Everyone got to make an entrance by of course last, Angelea with her dad. She danced with her dad, her grandfather, and her godfather. There was not a dry eye in the room! Joe, from Kool Kat Entertainment got the party started with Angelea in a little chair lift dance, you only turn 16 once right? Everyone had a blast celebrating with her, and she is clearly adored by all. Happy Birthday Angelea we’re so lucky to have gotten to be there!
Holly and Rob got married at the beautiful Carlouel Yacht Club at the very north end of Clearwater Beach. That morning, it was rainy but it cleared up into the most gorgeous day. Holly gave the girls an engraved glass and necklace to complete their look. They incorporated nautical details through out their wedding and I love the little nautical rope bracelet that Holly wore along with an extra special mother daughter bracelet. Two of Rob’s groomsmen were his brothers, one of them being his twin! They are hilarious and we had a blast with them before the ceremony. They each wore a nautical knot as a boutonniere with navy jackets and striped ties.
The sun came came out just in time for the guys to walk down that long board walk to the beach. Rob had so much happiness on his face as he saw Holly for the first time. Instead of a unity candle they wrote a message in a bottle to each other and then were announced as the official Mr. and Mrs. Deis! The soft light in the sky reflecting off of the beach and gulf was just perfect after the ceremony it was so hard to choose some of our favs.
The reception was decorated with nautical accents and candle light that looked amazing with all the garland and twinkle lights at Carlouel. Their escort cards were little navy sail boats and instead of a cake they had all different mini desserts. Holly’s sister toasted to the amazing bond that she and her sister have and how happy she is to be a part of their wedding. Rob’s brother told a story of how Rob use to live between Colorado and Florida and how his niece gave him the nickname Colorado:-) They danced and danced and danced and it was so much fun!! Congratulations Holly and Rob it was an honor to be there!!! xoxoxo
There is a funny story about how we met Violet and Geoffrey! As one of the preferred photographers the Tampa Club refers, we were attending an open house for all their couples. Carrie was bringing all her albums and such up and ended up in the same elevator as Violet and Geoffrey. Geoffrey was super sweet and helped her get everything to her spot and when they started talking found out they already had a photographer but had such a great conversation. A month or so later Violet called and said their photographer was moving and they wanted to hire us and we are so lucky to have gotten to photograph their wedding. I LOVE their color combo of ivory, steel blue, and gold that went perfectly with this iconic Tampa venue. Violet and all her girls and her mom and Geoffrey’s mom had so much fun getting ready just next door at the Hilton.
Violet had a super sweet card for Geoffrey and a special gift for her dad after she walked up the grand staircase for him to see her.
Michael DeArruda officiated their ceremony with all of their favorite people watching. The gold chivaris and florals that lined the aisle were perfect. One of our favorite thing about the Tampa Club is that you literally don’t have to step outside for photos because there are so many cool spots right there in the wine room and the staircase with the geometric gold wall and white and gold Chihuly.
The elegant theme and colors continued throughout the reception with gold, crystal accents and that cake by Artistic Whisk was literally covered in a sugar balayage. Geoffrey’s brother was his best man and had just gotten married 4 months earlier so he shared marriage advice of never going to bed angry:-) Violet’s dad toasted to his daughter finding her person and many congratulations to the both of them as they start their new life together as Mr. & Mrs. in San Diego, CA. An amazing day for an amazing couple, thank you for having us be a part of it you guys!! xoxoxo

Emily LOVES penguins, I mean who doesn’t right?:-) The only place I know of where you can have penguins as wedding guests is the Florida Aquarium! Once everyone was down front the penguins joined them by walking down the aisle! The lilac roses and magenta orchids looked amazing with the deep purple dresses the girls wore and the gray the guys wore. They danced up a storm at the reception and everyone literally had the best time ever! Congratulations Emily & Bryan!! xoxox
While the girls were getting ready in the bridal suite, Chris and the guys were putting the finishing touches on their black tuxes with bow ties and fun socks. They definitely had a blast and were so much fun!
The light coming through the trees on the love lock bridge was the perfect spot for their first look. I love the 2 different perspectives we got shooting on opposite sides of them to get the full effect of that sweet moment when Chris saw Jackie!!
Their ceremony was under the ancient oaks with wine barrels, burgundy florals and succulents. You could feel the anticipation as everyone waited for Jackie to walk down the aisle to see Chris. You would think that it’s not as dramatic when couples do a first look but honestly it always is!!! This time of day the light is perfect. My favorites of them are the ones of just the two of them in the woods, just so beautiful. Heading back, we had to get some more of those red bottoms. Bakers ranch recently re did their outdoor chapel with lamp posts and a modern clock by the peak of the roof which looks really cool and modern.
The soft romantic feel carried through the reception details wth greenery, lanters, candle light, and the draped ceiling with a crystal chandelier in the center. Jackie’s sister, Alison, was her MOH and she toasted to her sister and best friend getting married to such an amazing person. Chris’ brother was his best man talked about all the fun times they had as kids and the funniest story about how their dad forgot about Chris and didn’t realize it until they got home. You know it’s a fun party when they dance floor is packed until it’s time to line up for sparkler send off! Congratulations Jackie & Chris!!!
Janet and Bart's wedding was English Garden theme with the most gorgeous florals by Christie’s Flowers at the Naples Lakes Country Club. We started off with Janet and the girls, and Bart and the guys in their respective lounges just hanging out and putting on their finishing touches. Janet's sparkly shoes and crystal tiara were the perfect finishing touches with her gown!
Their wedding planner, Jenifer from Blue Flamingo Weddings was there to make sure every detail was taken care of. Their ceremony was inside with an arbor draped in white with all different sizes of roses and white lanterns and rose petals lining the aisle. Janet was overcome with emotion as it was time for their vows, you could feel the love they have between each other.
Their reception was decorated with roses and greenery everything, beginning on the stairwell as the guests arrived. I love the escort cards that coordinated perfectly. Their sweetheart table had cascading garlands of greenery and a white overlay with button back chairs. Bart had a pretty fantastic raspberry and chocolate groom's cake as well.
The toasts that Bart's step-father and Janet's daughter gave were some of our favorite moments of the reception. Bart's step-father talked about the last 30 years of adventures they have had from kayaking to diving and how happy he is that Bart found an amazing woman that made him lose 15 lbs and retire is Tommy Bahama shirts:-) Janet's daughter toasted to her mom having the wedding of her dreams and how she had prayed for her happiness and finding an amazing best friend in Bart. DJ Jim from A DJ with Class made it a really fun party and that groom's cake was also Bart's birthday cake!! Congratulations Janet and Bart, may you guys have a lifetime of happiness together!! xoxoxo
Violet and Geoffrey are just so natural and sweet, clearly meant to be with each other! They both went to USF for undergrad but never ran into each other while they were there. They met online and instantly became inseparable. I love their engagement story!! Violet had no idea that Geoffrey had been planning his proposal for weeks on a vacation they would be taking to St. Augustine. Geoffrey and Violet were walking around St Augustine near the Castillo de San Marcos. While they were walking along the fort and near the water, Geoffrey asked Violet where she sees herself in 10 years. Violet knew she wanted to spend her life with Geoffrey and mentioned she saw herself married to him. At that exact moment, Geoffrey said "I don't know about 10 years", then he got on one knee and asked Violet "how about 10 seconds? Will you marry me?" We can't wait until their Tampa Club Wedding 10.27.18!!!!
When we arrived, Kate and her bridesmaids were just hanging out in their cute robes sipping champagne and having such a great time. She wore these fabulous Vince Camuto heels with a little ivory and pearl clutch to accent that gorgeous lace gown. The girls got ready while Kate's mom helped her get ready and then we did a first look with them, so happy for their beautiful friend! Then Kate's dad came in and there were happy tears all around. Andrew and the were in cobalt blue suits that were the perfect shade of blue with the girls mauve dresses. The ceremony was on the patio behind Safety Harbor resort with florals and greenery installed in the fountain as well as on the edge of each aisle. Their friends and family came from Montreal, London, Las Vegas, California, and Kate and Andrew actually live in Birmingham, AL so all dear friends and family traveled here to celebrate them becoming Mr. & Mrs. Mullings (#marryingmullings as their wedding hashtag said:-). Everything about their weddings was elegant and sweet. The Four Springs ballroom was decorated with greenery, candles, gold, ivory and a little bit of burgundy. The bridal party made a fantastic entrance, we had to post a couple of the best one which was a pretty fabulous bouquet toss. From the minute they entered until the sparkler exit it was an amazing time had by all including us! I'm going to stop talking so you can start looking. Thank you Kate and Andrew for having us and congratulations!!!

We always ask couples what they are most excited about getting married and I love that Holly said "Everything"! Holly is a Floridian, from Dunedin, and Rob is from Long Island. They choose the beautiful Philippe Park for their engagement session because they never tire of the beautiful views of Tampa Bay, those amazing huge mossy trees, and of course the Florida Sunshine. We are so excited and honored to photography their wedding 12.1.18 at Carlouel Yacht Club!!

There is always so much excitement and a little bit of nerves as we photograph the wedding party getting ready. Laurie's bridesmaids and maid of honor, her sister, were just the sweetest as they helped her get ready. Her something old was her mom's beautiful pearl ring and she looked gorgeous in that lace gown. The guys were eating chicken from Publix, just chillin when we got there:-) Andrew gave them each a bottle of Johnny Walker, and their sky blue ties. Andrew, his brother Donny, and their dad all had matching shoes. There were a few tears as he read the card and opened the gift Laurie got him, hockey skates! Their little niece and nephew were the cutest ring bearer and flower girl they had to get some photos with Uncle Andrew. We setup their first look at Stonebridge at the Lange Farm, and Andrew was SO ready to see his bride. I love how the nerves dissipate and those sweet few moments just the 2 of them are some of the best. Their ceremony was decorated with lanterns and greenery under the big oak tree. There was a special greenery wreath on one of the chairs in memory of their loved ones who couldn't be there in person. There was string quartet playing as they walked down the aisle. Sometimes people thing that first look before the ceremony takes away from that moment the groom sees the bride walking down the aisle, but it really doesn't I think it lets them soak in that moment even more because the nerves are gone. It was a gorgeous evening for their guests to enjoy cocktail hour and little mini tomato soup and grilled cheese on the patio. The light and dark blues with lots of greenery, lanterns, and blush roses set the tone for their romatic reception. One of my favorite moments was the toast Andrew gave to Laurie. He said he knew she was the one from the moment he say her at their apartment building where they met (we did their engagement photos there:-). He fell immediately in love with her beauty and kindness. You could feel how much Laurie and Andrew love each other, and their families, and how much they are loved by all! Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Berecz!!!! xoxoxo

Kim and Shane's wedding was one for the books for sure! Kim has been a fellow event industry friendor for almost 10 years now so it was such an honor to photograph her and Shane's gorgeous wedding and we couldn't be happier for them. Being a planner herself, there was SO MANY gorgeous details. The girls had so much fun getting ready and sipping mimosas! They got ready at the Hilton right across the street that is newly redone and has a really cool modern vibe. They have huge art walls and furniture vignette's in the lobby perfect for their first look and inside photos. Their ceremony and reception was on the lawn in-between the Dali and Mahaffey right on the waterfront. Amanda and her team at MMD Events turned Kim's vision into even more than she could have imagined. The lawn was transformed into their ceremony with alternating rows of ghost chairs and white chairs with a white draped arch and sparkly chandalier. Kim's mom walked her down the aisle and she looked stunning and so happy. I love that Pastor Rich had asked them things they love about each other that he shared in the ceremony. The reception was set under market lights with gray linens and really unique and modern florals in gray and mirrored containers. They had a "Comfort Station" with flip flips and our very favorite detail was the doughnut wall that made their cake look like it was floating in front of sparkly doughnuts! Kim's sister was her Maid of Honor and her toast was to how much she loves her sister and how happy they all are to have Shane officially becoming a part of their family. Michael Planas, who is a long time friend of Kim's and works for Grant Hemond rocked the party. Congrats you guys it was such an honor to be part of!!!
