Happy New Year! And an especially happy one for all of our couples who celebrated their very first one as Mr & Mrs! We ended the year with Kristina & Jeff's fun and fabulous New Year's Eve wedding at the Vinoy, and started off 2016 with Caroline and Greg's beautiful beach wedding in perfect Florida style. Our couples' in 2015 took us from Tampa, to a private island, and even all the way to Portugal! The beautiful, priceless, and funny moments we had the honor of capturing was literally countless. Thank you for entrusting us to capture your wedding vision through our eyes. We wish you all the best year you could ever imagine, cheers to 2016!!! xoxoxo
Lee told Aimee he was having a "holiday party" in December last year, and surprised her with not just a birthday party but also a ring!!! I LOVE Aimee's dress, it had lace accents underneath a layer of organza, she said it initially had a train but had it cut off so she could dance! Aimee's Grandma June, who is 95 by the way, was so sweet and cute. Aimee's sister Cori was her Maid of Honor and Lee's long time friend Theresa was his "Best Person". Aimee and Lee love music and just fun nights out with friends, so that's really what they made it! The reception was on the rooftop of the Westin and the theme was music. Instead of an escort card table they had a will call booth where guests got their ticket with the seating assignment and also their favor which was a CD with some of Aimee and Lee's favorite music. The band, Have Gun Will Travel played the reception and it was so much fun! You could feel how happy all their friends and family are for these 2! Congrats Aimee & Lee!! xoxoxo

David and Elise met while Elise was an exchange student from France studying here in Florida. The following semester, David was an exchange student in France:-) Before I had met David, Elise told me he was the nicest guy on earth and seriously, he really is the sweetest. They love each other so much it makes me smile just writing this. David wrote Elise a really sweet card and she wrote him one too. Elise had a little piece of David's great grandmother's wedding dress for her bouquet. The girls were in Navy and the boys in charcoal with navy ties. They saw each other for the first time on the staircase at the Tampa Yacht Club and we did some beautiful photos under the oak trees. Before the ceremony, Elise and David took part in a Chinese Tea Ceremony with Elise’s parents. This ancient Chinese tradition served as the groom’s symbolic introduction to his bride’s family. The ceremony was at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church, and their little ring bearer decided to take a little detour to see his mom before walking down the aisle. After the ceremony we took the bridal party out to Bayshore Blvd and we happened to get some photos by the "giant slinky" as I like to call it. Cocktail hour was in the tent out back with patterned navy linens and an amazing floral center piece hung above the dance floor. Yellow and ivory florals with soft candlelight and uplighting set the ambiance for this romantic evening. Instead of a cake they had a French Croquembouche Cake, which was like lots of little puff pastries designed into a tall cake lit with sparklers when they cut it. Phase 5 made it an amazing party and before their guests left, there were little Macaroon favors waiting for them. This night was positively perfect for this beautiful and sweet couple! Congrats Elise and David! xoxoxo

We get to photograph so many amazing moments with mom:-) It's amazing to see each and everyone one of you interact with, and love your kids and grandkids. Happy Mother's Day!!!!
The Sailboats out on the bay made the most beautiful backdrop for Michael and Danielle's nautical themed wedding at the Davis Island Yacht Club. Michael and his groomsmen wore gray suits with navy ties, fun socks, and nautical knot boutonnieres with an orchid in the center. Danielle's gown had a lace overlay and the girls wore navy with cute yellow heels. Lanterns with sunflower accents and rose petals lined the aisle of the lawn for the ceremony. There was a perfect breeze for the flowing white drapery and glittery starfish hung from arbor. During the ceremony Michael and Danielle did the "salt covenant" where they each had a pouch of salt, they each took a generous pinch from their own pouch and added it to the others. The covenant is performed to symbolize that their union can never be broken seeing as you can never retrieve your own grains of salt. The views of the city and sailboats on the water was just the most gorgeous spot for photos The reception decor perfectly went along with their nautical theme. The tables had striped white and navy overlays with yellow florals with a little easel with a rope table number. Their escort cards also had a little knot with a ring and their guests name on them. I love their sign in! Everyone was to sign a piece of a Jenga game because "Marriage is a game of balance" LOVE! The wedding cake was a tower of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with shiny pearls on top and the top layer was decorated with two starfish. Such a beautiful and fun day for this sweet couple! Congrats Danielle and Michael! xoxoxo

Amie's bridesmaids wore long blush dresses that looked beautiful beside her lace gown. Amie had a lace and crystal beaded bodice coverlet that she wore for the ceremony. We could not wait to see the prettiness that Jana, from Events in Bloom, created for this wedding. She transformed the ballroom into a floral extravaganza for both the ceremony and reception. The centerpiece for the ceremony was an archway of flowers and draping with a chandelier hanging from the center, otherwise known as "the fortress:-) The half-moon shaped table that sat in the center of the arch was later Amie and Ryan's sweetheart table during the reception. The lighting was dim and the candles that lined the aisles truly created this wonderful, intimate, ambience. Ryan was escorted by both his mother and father down the aisle to await his beautiful bride’s entrance. Haley (one of photographers:-) was a guest at this wedding and her son, Kyson, was the ring bearer. He walked down the aisle with a sign that said, "if you think I'm cute you should see the bride". When the doors opened and Amie walked through with her dad, Ryan was brought to tears. His beautiful bride was nothing less than perfection. . Diane, Amie's mom, told us she had a few surprises up her sleeve. The first was that all the guests had streamers with bells attached to ring as the newlyweds exited down the aisle. There was so much happiness on Amie and Ryan's faces when they were finally announced as the new Mr. & Mrs.
One of the things I love about Amie is how she gets so excited and just loves life. The look on her face when she saw the finished ballroom was just plain priceless. It was decorated with floral masterpieces and dark brown chivari chairs with pink organza ties (or unicorn tails as I like to call them). Our love of wedding cakes runs deep, especially sugary creations from the Cake Zone. The detail made you question whether it could even be real, but it was, and delicious of course. After dinner, Amie's cousin (who now shares her birthday with Amie and Ryan's anniversary) sang while the guests danced. The singing was then turned around and everyone sang happy birthday to her. As the end of the night approached, Diane had another surprise for Amie and Ryan, glow sticks for their exit. As we lined up the guests for the grand exit, we couldn't help but wonder where the couple was? I ran upstairs and found them sharing a last dance, just the two of them. They were both in tears, and you could just feel how absolutely head over heels they are for each other. Amie and Ryan exited through a tunnel of guests with glow sticks into the limo. Congratulations to you both! It was an absolutely gorgeous wedding with so many amazing moments and we were honored to be a part of it! xoxo

Carol looked beautiful and her lace gown with a simple up do was absolute perfection. She had some fabulous Kate Spade blue heels for the ceremony and blue flats for the reception. Jason's gift to her a pearl bracelet, she said that she originally had picked out a cute "cheap" one and Jason said "no way" and surprised her with this beautiful one! Carol's sister, Kristine, was her maid of honor and her mom, Jason's mom, and two of her friends were there to help Carol get bridal ready. Jason wore gator cufflinks and gator colored socks, and his dad was his best man. Jason brews his own beer and before the ceremony he had to tap all the kegs so it could be served for the reception. They said their vows under a beautiful arch of flowers as Carol's dad officiated the ceremony. The reception was on the back patio of the bed-and-breakfast and there were beautiful tall floral arrangements with mercury glass, pearls and white draping. Inside the B&B, they had adorable favors that were individual honey pots with a dipper for each guest to take home that said "Thanks for Bee'ing with us" I love the cake topper, it was a wooden bride and groom, and the groom was bald and had a beard colored on it to look like Jason:-) Carol and Jason had the sweetest first dance to the country song "I don't dance". Jason claimed this song is "me, because I don't dance!" But of course he did for Carol. For the mother son and father daughter dance Carol and Jason shared the dance floor at the same time their parents. They also did some cute twists to the garter and bouquet. For the garter, the guys had to play musical chairs and the last man sitting was the one who got the garter! The guest that won sneakily stole the chair from the guy who would've been the winner. For the bouquet toss, the couple that had been married the longest won the bouquet. Carol and Jason made their exit with a sparkler send off and drove away in a beautiful old Rolls Royce. Congrats Carol and Jason!!! xoxoxo

Stephanie and Rob both have country roots so the Wishing well Barn was the perfect setting for their wedding! Stephanie and her girls got ready in the little house next to the barn while Rob and his guys got ready in the room inside the barn. We actually met Stephanie and Rob while photographing Christina & Adam's wedding, and Adam was one of the groomsmen so it was fun to see them again too! Stephanie wore a beautiful, strapless, lace gown with what else.... her cowgirl boots! All of her bridesmaids wore boots as well. She gave each of them an Origami Owl locket with their titles such as bridesmaid, maid of honor, mother of the bride and mother of the groom. For the ceremony, the bridal party entered through two wooden doors that led down the aisle. At the alter they stood next to a beautiful trellis draped with sheer fabric and flowers. The doors closed right before Stephanie and her father made their walk down the aisle. The look on Rob's face was priceless when he saw her. After the ceremony we were able to steal the bride and groom for some photos out on the back lawn with the most gorgeous golden sunlight. The barn was perfectly decked out in burlap, lace, flowers, and tree-stumps. Stephanie and Rob had the cutest favors; they were individual pies of all different flavors. During dinner the traditional clinking of the glasses for the couple to share a kiss had a little twist. Anyone who clinked his or her glass then had to stand up and sing a verse from a song containing the word "love". It was pretty funny:-) Dancing took place under the twinkling lights of the back patio and there was a bonfire, s'mores and chocolate dipped bacon for everyone to enjoy. They had a sparkler sendoff to end their perfect evening. Congrats Stephanie and Rob!!! xoxoxo

Sarah and Kevin = gorgeous and sweet couple! Sarah wore a beautiful strapless dress with a beaded bodice and a matching crystal beaded belt. To add a little extra flare, she wore a hot pink petticoat under her dress, LOVE! The flower girl even had a matching one. A Hot Pink Hummer picked the girls up and Sarah was so excited when she saw it! Since their ceremony was on the beach, there was a "shoes optional" sign and place for the guests to leave their shoes in the sand. The Ring Bearer had a badge and brief case that said “Ring Security", so adorable! His brother, came down the isle with a sign saying “Tio Kevin, here comes your bride”! The ceremony was full of laughter and happiness. Sarah & Kevin looked up scripture together for this sweet union. After some really fun beach pictures and even getting sprinkled on (Sarah was such a trooper and said who cares about the rain!), we then headed to the reception at Sage. The tables were decorated with glass jars holding sand, starfish, seashells, and candles. The cake was amazing!! It was four tiered navy and white fondant with rope and life preservers that was the finishing touch to their nautical themed decor. Sarah surprised Kevin with a groom’s cake that was shaped like a barber’s pole and clippers. He loved it! For their first dance, they started out with a slow dance and then half way through started salsa dancing, it was so fun and unexpected! Congrats Sarah and Kevin! xoxoxo

"When I tell you I love you, I don't say it out of habit, or to make conversation. I say it to remind you that you are the best thing that ever happened to me". That was what the picture frame Danielle gave Bryce said, and it really just sums of the energy and feel of their beautiful wedding day. Danielle's gift arrived wrapped in purple and sequins personally wrapped by Bryce. Danielle's bouquet was a simple, with beautifully open lilac roses. I love her style, simplicity with sparkle. There were sparkles on her shoes and the band on her invitations. The girls were in periwinkle, boys in dark gray with black & gray cool socks. Danielle & Bryce said their vows in front of a huge stained glass backdrop at their church. Some of my favorite moments of the day were right after the ceremony, hugs and happiness, especially Bryce's grandma:-) The pretty sunlight by the sailboats and tall palm trees at Safety Harbor was just amazing. When you opened the door to walk into the Four Springs Ballroom, it was stunning. Draped in white with lilac table overlays, lilac roses, with hydrangea and candles topped each table. It was truly the perfect day and we loved capturing every moment! Congrats Danielle & Bryce!!! xoxox
