{Amber & Michael @ Avila Golf & Country Club}

Amber & Michael's wedding was beautiful and elegant with a black and sangria color palette and hints of super heros:-) Michael loves the Avengers, so he and his best man had on Iron Man and Thor cufflinks and socks.  Amber wrote the sweetest cards to her dad and grandpa and had special photo cufflinks made for both of them to wear.  Amber's gown was stunning, and so were those sparkly jeweled Gianni Bini heels! The atrium at Avila makes for a gorgeous ceremony backdrop with chivari's and draping, it was perfect.  Amber walked down the staircase with her dad, and met her grandpa at the bottom so they could both walk her down the aisle to become Mrs. Chancey!  It was a gorgeous October day with sunlight streaming through the mossy trees on the golf course.  Amber's mom created the sangria and green center pieces and they had a little love candle on each place setting for the favor.  My favorite detail was their cake topper.  It had Amber as a bride, and Michael as a groom with an Iron Man helmet and suit under the tux (he actually had on an iron man shirt under his tux:-).  They even included their dog with a sign that said "my humans are getting married"!  Their first dance was choreographed with the perfect dip at the end!  Each of their bridal party toasted to fun memories of the couple and if you are wondering why Amber and Michael's champagne glasses are yellow, they toasted with Mountain Dew!  Congrats you guys, hope you are having a blast on your Californian honeymoon!! xoxoxo

{Lisa & John @ Van Dyke Church}

Lisa & John had a beautiful ceremony in the chapel at their home church, Van Dyke Church.  John even had a tear as the doors opened and his beautiful bride entered the room!  Pastor Matthew married them in a candle lit ceremony with their friends and family. Their colors were silver, aqua, and blue with just a hint of peacock feathers on the favors and guest book. Lisa changed into a cute lace dress for first dance and outdoor reception on the patio. We just love being a part of the joy and happiness!  Congrats Lisa and John!!

{Katie & Robert @ The Courtyard At Lake Lucerne}

Katie and Robert's wedding and reception was at the IW Phillips House in Orlando, among the beautiful lush greenery and wrap around porch.  Katie wore a gorgeous 2 piece gown with beaded heels and chandelier style earrings and the girls were in different shades of plum and purple.  One of her bridesmaids might even look familiar, Rachel one of our photographers was in the wedding!  Katie and Robert had the sweetest first look in the garden and then we had some fun with the bridal party and their sweet flower girl and ring bearer.  Katie's brother walked her down the aisle to the steps of the house where they said their vows to each other which included "Never watch a Star Wars movie in the theater without each other". As the were announced husband and wife and had their first kiss Katie held up her finger saying "hold on not done yet":-)  Robert is a huge star wars fan and Katie loves Harry Potter so they incorporated both of their loves in the little details. Guests signed a twisted tree with their thumbprints and put their cards in a Hedwig birdcage. Their cake topper was even a Star Wars bride and groom with their dogs on it! Each table was themed with the favorite movies with the favors at each place setting.  Mr & Mrs Sloan entered the reception in Darth Vader and Harry Potter style.  Katie surprised Robert with their first dance song being recorded and sung by her. The entire day was really just fun, laid back, and enjoying time with family and friends. Congrats Katie and Robert!!! xoxoxo

{Jennifer & Mitch @ Avila Golf & Country Club}

Jennifer and Mitch said their I do's at the beautiful Avila Golf and Country Club!  Jennifer had matching robes for her bridesmaids and flower girl that her mom embroidered with their initials. She also embroidered "You're my favorite" with their date on Mitch's tie, which was also their first dance song. The girls surprised Jennifer with a special scrapbook of fun moments with her.  Light gold flats were the perfect touch to her beautiful gown that had a matching sash with just a hint of crystals.  Her garter had a flower on it from her grandmother's dress and was her something old, blue, and new.  Jennifer's dad waited patiently just outside the bridal suite as the girls made sure the bride looked absolutely perfect.  He was just in awe of how beautiful his daughter looked!  As we headed down the stairwell, the bridal party and family watched from the balcony as Jennifer walked down the aisle before the ceremony and Mitch was literally speechless!  The ceremony was draped in white with silver chivari chairs and started with the "warming of the rings".  Each guest held them and passed them along until they made it to the front and then the ceremony began.  Dr. Smith, who Jennifer works for, made them the official Mr. & Mrs. Hughes!  The reception was decorated with tall floral centerpieces that Jennifer's mom designed along with a monogrammed glass and cozie.  Their guest sign in table said "Without you our puzzle isn't complete" and each guest signed a piece.  Jennifer had such attention to detail, and our favorite detail was that she had written a personal memory or funny phrase on each guest card.  What a great idea to make each guest feel special!  Event the toilet paper had their names and date:-)  They toasted and danced and had so many amazing moments!  Congrats Jennifer & Mitch!!! xoxoxo

{Rebecca & CJ @ The Hilton Clearwater Beach}

Becky & CJ traveled to Florida, with their closest friends and family, from Pittsburg, PA for their destination wedding.  The Florida rain did not cooperate with us to have their ceremony and reception outside, but, the rain cleared up and we had an absolutely breathtaking sunset for photos with them!  That was most important to Becky so I'm so happy it was just gorgeous! The colors palette was coral, ivory, and gray with some rustic beach accents.  From the minute they entered the reception, it was filled with happiness and a full dance floor!  Becky's dance with her dad included tossing a softball with him and at the very end of the evening they exited to sparklers and launching lanterns on the beach!  Congrats Becky & CJ! xoxoxo

{Melissa & Brian @ Tampa Palms Golf & Country Club}

First off, can we say how stunningly gorgeous Melissa looked in her blush gown?  Brian looked pretty handsome in his coordinating blue suit and pink tie:-)  Their wedding was full of very fun, and personal details which we absolutely love!  They had gift bags waiting for their guests at the hotel that had oranges, since Brian is from Florida, and Buckeye's (the chocolate and peanut butter kind), since Melissa is from Ohio.  Melissa's something old was her grandmother's diamond heart ring that she wore on her right hand. Something borrowed was a bracelet from her mother in law.  Something blue was an embroidered handkerchief and something new was her jewelry and shoes. They didn't see each other before the ceremony but read notes to each other and opened gifts. Brian gave her Michael Kors flip flops and jokingly wrote in the note…just in case you forget your new initials…MK for Melissa Kensrue :) She gave him a blue Kenneth Cole watch to match his suit.  Melissa's bouquet had a pendant from her Maid of Honor with the lyrics to her favorite Hillsong Song. We had an impromptu first look with Melissa's Dad. He was coming up to the bridal suite to see his little girl and I just so happened to catch him before he saw Melissa.  It was one of our favorite moments of the day and beyond sweet. Brian and Melissa's Pastor, Wes, married them under the patio at Tampa Palms with the beautiful view of the golf course. When they had their first kiss one of the little flower girls had the best reaction! The reception decor was pink, gray, and navy with lots of candles and mercury glass. Brian's sister-in-law, Julie, is a NY Pastry chef and made the macron favors. There were some special escort cards that were included at the reception.  Place cards for Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca (for Brian's love of Star Wars:-), their dog Selene, and some of their favorite spots were mixed in with all of their guests cards. Alessi Bakery created their cupcake tower and they made a special cupcake for Brian with all of their icing flavors because during the tasting her tried every flavor, as he should!  Melissa told us they had several events leading up to the day of the wedding, and their whole goal was investing in family, friends, and love. That really was the perfect theme to celebrate their marriage!  Congrats Melissa and Brian it was truly amazing!!! xoxox

{Candice & Steven @ Davis Island Garden Club}

Candice and Steven had so many personal touches and details that set the tone and made their wedding amazing. The color palette was coral, navy, and Ivory. The girls were in navy dresses and the guys in navy suits with polka dot socks.  Candice had the perfect undo and flowy veil for a windy day on Davis Island!  Steven wore a light coral jacket and bow tie in perfect style. They florals were so pretty with white, succlants, and coral accents. Candice and Steven saw each other for the first time on the waterfront at Davis Island Yacht Club, and had their sweet Great Dane, Blalock ready for some photos as well!  Their ceremony was lovely, and took place on the lawn at the Garden Club. During the ceremony, they had a "tree ceremony" where they each added dirt from Candice's home states of Texas and Missouri and Steven's home state of Florida.  When Taco Bus is your favorite restaurant, why not have them cater your wedding? so they did:-) They had mason had jar mugs for their guests to write their name on and keep, even special ones for the kids! Candice hand made the cake topper and Steven's dad made the cake stand as a gift to them. Steven’s grandfather had recorded a special blessing they played before dinner. After many laughs and so many fun moments, Steven and Candice exited through all of their family and friends holding sparklers and then boarded a waiting water taxi that took them to their hotel! Congrats Candice and Steven! xoxoxo

{Kate & Jake @ Carlouel Yacht Club}

Happy 1 week anniversary to Jake & Kate! While their on their honeymoon we wanted to share some of our favorite moments:-) First I have to say, Kate's gown is one of my favorites, it was simple gorgeous with the lace detail and for the ceremony she wore a cap sleeve lace top that was literally so perfect and unique. She wore lace heels for the ceremony and matching lace flats for dancing! Jake and his best man enjoyed a little toast on the balcony of the Pier House 60 hotel while getting ready. The colors were tiffany blue, gray, with hints of green and driftwood that made for the perfect beach chic style.  They had little vials of sand with their guests name and seating arrangement and both a sweet and salty favor.  On the sign in table, they had 3 bottles, 1 year, 10 year, and 25 year and little papers for their guests to write advice to put in each one so they can open them and read on each of those anniversaries. The rain let up just in time for us to do some gorgeous photos on the beach of them after the ceremony and for sunset. Some of the prettiest skies happen after it rains. Their guests started dancing before dinner started and didn't stop until it was over! I think Kate's grandpa, (who is 80 by the way:-) had the most fun dancing with his beautiful granddaughter! Congrats Kate and Jake!!!!! xoxoxox

Juliet & Billy @ The Vinoy

Juliet & Billy met in Tallahassee even they are both from St. Pete. Billy is a pilot and Juliet said she didn't mean to do an airplane theme, but they had the best and most unique personal details!  The new Mr & Mrs Auer to be had the best hashtag for their friends to share photos on Instagram, #Auertime!  Juliet had heels for the ceremony and gray converse with purple "Mrs. Auer" embroidered on them for the reception. The lilac and gray color palette is one of my favorites!  While I was with the girls, Kandice was with the Billy and the boys at their house getting ready. They toasted with shots of fireball in Florida State shot glasses. Billy loves to bike and he decided to go for a spin on his wedding day, why not? Their wedding was the day before Father's day, and Juliet and her dad had the sweetest first look under the canopy of pink bougainvilleas. Then it was time for her to see Billy and as she walked up to him he couldn't wait and turned right around to see his bride:-)  Just as the guests were seated on the esplanade for the ceremony, a yellow bi-plane started circling with a little surprise Billy had planned for everyone!  Once it was official their guests threw their programs which were folded into paper airplanes as the exited. The Grand Ballroom was decked out in gray linens with purple uplighting and alternating tall and petite centerpieces. There was a little hint of sparkle to everything. The table numbers, votives and their entire cake covered in sugary sparkles topped with a custom Mr & Mrs. Auer.  The table numbers were actually made by one of their dear friends, for the head table he made a special wood engraved heart made out of backwards 2's with a little plaque engraved "Juliet and Billy United 2-gether". The reception was a blast, they ate and danced and danced some more!  The perfect ending was that Billy was actually flying them to their honeymoon in St Barts:-) Congrats Juliet and Billy we had so much fun capturing your special day!! xoxoxo

{Aleigha & Jon @ The Powel Crosley Estate}

Aleigha and Jon chose the gorgeous Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota for their big day!  Jon is from Toronto, Canada, and is a huge Toronto Maple Leaf hockey fan, so for Aleigha’s something blue, she had a Toronto Maple Leaf patch sewn into the bottom of her wedding dress:-)  The color palette was teal, mint, gray, and white. Even the historic marker on the property matched their colors! Aleigha is very close with her family, and did a first look with her father and four brothers in the ship room.  All of their reactions when they first saw her as a beautiful bride were priceless. Aleigha gave Jon cuff links as a gift, that had their initials and date on one and "best day ever" on the other. Just before the ceremony, they held hands with a door separating them so they couldn't see each other.  As they stood on either side of the door they told one another exactly how they were feeling in that precious moment right before their wedding. Jon’s adorable niece, Maddy, was the flower girl and as she walked down the aisle she carried a sign that read, “Uncle Jonny, here comes your bride”. During the ceremony Aleigha’s sister sang them a song while she played the guitar, it was beautiful!  After the ceremony the bridal party did their entrances into the reception and they were ALL so creative and fun!  Dinner was in a tent on the back lawn decorated with lanterns, gray linens, and teal and mint accents. The toasts were amazing and had everyone laughing.  There was a beautiful sunset, dancing on the terrace and an ice cream bar for everyone to enjoy. An amazing night for this sweet couple! Congrats Aleigha and Jon! xoxo

Emily & Dylan

Emily and Dylan met while they were in college at UCF in Orlando. After they started dating, they realized they only lived 10 minutes from one another while growing up, it's such a small world!  They love boating and being out on the water, so in true Florida fashion, Dylan proposed to her on the beach at sunset!  We walked around the cute little streets of Pass a Grille and even had a dolphin surface in the background:-) 2.13.15 Isla Del Sol, we can't wait!

{Deetra & Roy @ Carrollwood Country Club}

Deetra and Roy had one of those "lucky" wedding days where the forecast did not agree with their plan to have an outdoor ceremony. You always hear that, so I had to look up why.  Rain on your wedding day officially signifies fertility, unity, cleansing, and renewal (this is my favorite one - starting a new fresh chapter).  I have to say, Deetra was so happy and excited to marry Roy she didn't care about the rain for one second!  She looked so gorgeous in her white, lace accented gown and silver sparkly heels.  Everything came down to the moment Roy saw her walk down that aisle!  They said their I do's in front of the twinkle lights on the dance floor.  Both their families participated in the sand ceremony and a prayer.  Thankfully, the rain stopped so we could do almost all their photos outside.  Roy has 3 daughters, and a son, so now they are a family of 6! Their personalities compliment each other so well, Roy is more the serious one and Deetra is the funny one:-) Hence the serious groomsmen photo with the girls photo bombing them in the background!  The reception was decorated all in white with blue and yellow accents. Their favors were a chocolate record that said "For the Record" with their names and date.  Their families were a part of their father daughter, mother son dances and along with the toasts, their guests got to share some fun memories with everyone as well.  It was a perfectly fun and beautiful day!  Congrats Roy and Deetra!!! xoxoxo

{Ashlee & Jared @ Galleria at USF}

While Ashlee and the girls were getting ready, Jared sent a sweet card and a gift. It was a heart locket with both of their birthstones and on the back it said "My Heart is Yours". They have 3 sweet boys, and when the oldest, Adam, who is 5, saw Ashlee in her gown he said "You look good":-) Their ceremony was inside the atrium, decorated with white chairs and red sashes. Adam was also the ring bearer and took part in the sand ceremony.  The Galleria at USF is all white and has huge windows.  It was also decked out in red, black, and white with alternating tall and short centerpieces with rhinestones, roses, and hydrangea. Ashlee and Jared both work at Embassy suites so many of the staff were their guests too!  Everyone had such an amazing time!  Congrats Ashlee & Jared!!! xoxoxo

Jessica & Jon

Jessica and Jon knew one another through attending South Tampa Fellowship, but it wasn’t until Jessica’s friend, Tiffany decided to play matchmaker at her family Christmas party that they became a couple. They are a house divided as Jessica is a Gator and a Yankee (which means she's a northerner:-) and Jon is a Seminole and from Tallahassee (which means he's a true Floridian). Jon totally surprised Jessica when he proposed to her on Pass a Grille Beach just before sunset and then had flowers and dinner at Berns planned to celebrate!  They are doing a destination wedding at Useppa Island Club, which is a gorgeous private island about 3 hours south of Tampa. It's going to be amazing and we can't wait!

{Lindsay & Justin @ The Carrollwood Country Club}

Justin loves to golf and was thrilled to be able to play a couple rounds while they were staying at Carrollwood Country Club. Lindsay looked positively stunning!  Her something borrowed was a cross necklace that her grandfather had given her grandmother 60 years ago on their wedding day. She wore cute Betsy Johnson flats, perfect for dancing! Lindsay’s father is Scottish, and he wore a kilt for the wedding, as did all their Scottish family members!  During the ceremony, the minister that did their reading is the same minister that also married Lindsay's parents.  The light, and beautiful golf course is just amazing for photos at CCC. The color scheme was a light mint green with beautiful white and blush florals. The reception was decorated with white linens, draping, blush accents and tall center pieces. Justin is a huge Yankee's fan so his groom's cake matched that perfectly. They had cigars and matches that said "Lindsay & Justin the perfect match." Lots of dancing, delicious food, and a fun time had by all.  This was such a perfect day for an amazing couple! Congrats Lindsay and Justin! xoxoxo

{Tierney & James @The Hilton Clearwater Beach}

Tierney wore a corset back, strapless dress with a gorgeous crystal beaded headband. Her grandmother gave her a special set of jewelry that was from Germany 68 years ago.  She wore the bracelet for her something old. Tierney's "something blue" was her cute blue toenail polish and her mom made her crystal "foot jewelry" for their ceremony in the sand.  The bridesmaids wore long, flowy, Tiffany blue dresses and they guys were in khaki suits and vests with aqua ties. James wore a white tie and octupus socks!  The whole day was just simple and pretty!  A good friend of the bride and groom officiated the ceremony which was on the beach under an archway of aqua and coral florals. The reception was all outside on the Flamingo deck.  The tables were decorated with white lanterns filled with sand, starfish, and seashells. Cute little cozies with flip flop bottle openers were at each place setting as favors for their guests. We stole the couple away for some sunset photos and a sailboat passed right by at the perfect time! It was a beautiful day for a super sweet and happy couple! Congrats James and Tierney! xoxoxo

{Danielle & Michael @Davis Island Yacht Club}

The Sailboats out on the bay made the most beautiful backdrop for Michael and Danielle's nautical themed wedding at the Davis Island Yacht Club.  Michael and his groomsmen wore gray suits with navy ties, fun socks, and nautical knot boutonnieres with an orchid in the center.  Danielle's gown had a lace overlay and the girls wore navy with cute yellow heels. Lanterns with sunflower accents and rose petals lined the aisle of the lawn for the ceremony. There was a perfect breeze for the flowing white drapery and glittery starfish hung from arbor.  During the ceremony Michael and Danielle did the "salt covenant" where they each had a pouch of salt, they each took a generous pinch from their own pouch and added it to the others. The covenant is performed to symbolize that their union can never be broken seeing as you can never retrieve your own grains of salt.  The views of the city and sailboats on the water was just the most gorgeous spot for photos The reception decor perfectly went along with their nautical theme. The tables had striped white and navy overlays with yellow florals with a little easel with a rope table number. Their escort cards also had a little knot with a ring and their guests name on them. I love their sign in! Everyone was to sign a piece of a Jenga game because "Marriage is a game of balance" LOVE!  The wedding cake was a tower of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with shiny pearls on top and the top layer was decorated with two starfish.  Such a beautiful and fun day for this sweet couple! Aline & Marcus are from Brazil and had their intimate wedding on the deck of the Yacht Starship. She wore a beautiful open back gown and a crown of sunflowers!
