{Brianna & Jaime @ The Florida Aquarium}

Brianna and Jaime got married at the Florida Aquarium in the morning before it opened.  It's got this quiet and peaceful feel to it before and guests are there and it's just us and the sea life.  These 2 are just some of the sweetest people and love each other so much.  Their flower girl had the rings in a huge oyster shell as they got married in front of the sharks, turtle, and rays.  Congrats Brianna and Jaime!!! xoxoxo

{Susan & Mike @ The Florida Aquarium Tampa}

Susan and Mike’s evening wedding at the Florida Aquarium had accents of dark purple and silver.  Susan looked gorgeous in her lace-accented gown with off the shoulder sleeves.  Mike’s son, Mikey, had the rings secured in a combination lock safe as the ring security.  Susan and Mike had a quiet few moments together for their “first look but not look” just before the ceremony.  The vows were some of my favorite moments.  As they said them to each other, both had tears flowing down their cheeks.  After it was official, the penquins, who are always dressed for a wedding walked down the aisle first!  As we were doing bridal party photos we noticed a little red lady bug that looked so real!  Scott, from Apple Blossoms, later told me it is their signature.  It means good luck, and that nothing leaves their workshop without one, so awesome.  Their guests enjoyed cocktails and the aquarium exhibits while the ceremony space was transformed into the reception for dinner and dancing with a backdrop of sharks, turtles, and an eel.  They dark purple accents with black linens and silver chivari chairs was so pretty.  The cookie table had favor bags that said "Love is Sweet & So are Cookies" along with boxes for everyone to take cake with them!  They danced and toasted and had an amazing evening! Congrats Susan & Mike!!! xoxoxo

{Elizabeth & Paul @ The Grand Plaza Hotel}

Liz and Paul’s wedding was bursting with amazing and fun moments with all their friends and family.  They are our 2nd couple that met while playing in kickball league!  Jessie & Todd were our first and we got to see them there, as well as Carol and Jason who are also friends of the Liz and Paul! Liz’s gown was so pretty! Flowy, with a beaded, crystal back.  Her bracelet was engraved with her dad’s handwriting and her mom sewed her something blue onto her dad’s handkerchief for her.  The bridesmaids navy dresses that can be fashioned all different ways and their bouquets had pink, ivory, and succulent accents.  Paul and his groomsmen all wore socks from their college alma mater.  It was a very windy day on the beach in January, but that didn’t stop them from enjoying every single second.  My favorite moment of the day is right after Liz and her mom walked down the aisle to meet Paul, her mom looked over at her daughter with the most adoring tears in her eyes.  They unified the Big Ten when they poured together 2 vases of gumballs, blue for Penn State and red for Ohio. Their wedding day was styled with travel accents.  Their place cards were luggage tags, each table was named after their favorite cities, and their cake sat on a vintage suitcase.  We did a first look with them and most of their photos before the ceremony so they could spent as much time enjoying the party as possible and they definitely had a fun evening!  Congrats Liz & Paul!!! xoxox

{Jessica & Steven @ The Florida Aquarium}

Jessica and Steven traveled all the way from Maine to get married at the Florida Aquarium!  Usually, the ceremony starts a few hours after it closes, but this one actually started in the morning before it opened.  There was really something peaceful and serene about it in the morning.  I love Jessica and the girls' bouquets, they were made of white and aqua fabric with little coastal accents. They had 2 little special guests (the penguins of course:-) dressed in tuxes that were actually very photogenic and well behaved. Their adorable son, Blake, is their whole world and he was so sweet and even got to pet the Penguins.  After the ceremony, their guests had a little breakfast, champagne, cake and then we did photos all around the Aquarium with Jess and Steve!  The stingrays are my favorite it always looks like they are smiling.  Congrats Jessica & Steven!!! xoxoxo

Megan & Brett @ The Dali Museum

Megan and Brett had a holiday styled, evening wedding with a red, silvery and white color palette.  We captured such sweet moments of Megan’s mom getting her bridal ready at the Vinoy.  Megan walked around the corner and down the spiral staircase as their friends and family watched from the balcony!  We love this venue because of the unique architecture and Dali artwork as the backdrop.  The cold (for FloridaJ breeze picked up and their reception was moved inside, but we still were able to get some awesome photos of Megan and Brett in the Avant Garden and by the wish tree.  They had a jazz duo playing for their dances and the exited under rose petals!  Congrats Megan & Brett!! xoxoxo

{Kayla and Alex @ Lange Farm}

Navy, cream, and gold with orange accents was the color palette for Kayla and Alex’s elegant garden house wedding.  Kayla’s lace gown had off the shoulder cap sleeves with a navy and cream sash, so pretty! Her bridesmaids all wore different styles of navy dresses that coordinated perfectly with the guys beige suits and navy ties. The orange floral accents they had for the ceremony and in the flowers looked so pretty against the outdoor backdrop.  Dusk time there is just gorgeous!  We got so many beautiful shots of these two, and the weather was just perfect!  The reception was decorated with navy and gold linens, orange floral center pieces, and a s’more for each of their guests to take home!  Their sweets table was to die for with cake, truffles, and all kinds of treats to dip in the chocolate fountain!  Kayla and Alex’s son Josh, had a special seat at the sweetheart tableJ So many sweet memories made up their story and we loved capturing it!  Congrats Kayla and Alex!!! xoxoxo

{Siera and Eric @ A La Carte Event Pavilion}

Siera wore a beautiful strapless gown with silver sparkly Vans for her and Eric’s gold and navy Great Gatsby styled wedding.   Just before the ceremony, Eric and Siera had the sweetest moment holding hands around a door before walking down the aisle!  As their guests arrived they signed gold Christmas ornaments for Eric and Siera’s first Christmas tree this year, what a fun and unique ideaJ The grand foyer was decorated with gold mercury glass votives and tall glass cylinders filled with floating candles.  Siera walked down the aisle that was sprinkled with daisies to meet Eric under the white canopy.  Eric’s son was the ring bearer and they also included him in the sand ceremony, as they officially became a family of 3!  The reception was draped in white and navy and gold lines.  The centerpieces were white daisies and Siera’s favorite books.  There was a little sign on each table that said “As our gift to you, please take 1 book , As we create our love story, enjoy one already written”.  The finishing touch was their custom monogram on the white dance floor.  It was an epic party, their friends have some pretty awesome moves, and beardsJ  We snuck them out for a few minutes for nighttime photos before their sparkler exit!  Congrats Siera & Eric!! xoxoxo

{Jessica & Jon @ Useppa Island}

Jessica and Jon wanted to do a Florida destination style wedding where their friends and family could join them for a weekend of celebration.  The perfect location was the gorgeous Useppa Island club which is a private island you can only get to by boat!  Jessica, her mom and bridesmaids all get ready in the beautiful upstairs suite at the Useppa Island Inn. Jessica wore a gorgeous strapless tulle dress with a crystal-beaded belt and the most adorable sparkly Betsy Johnson flats! Right before Jessica and Jon saw each other for the first time, all the girls prayed over Jessica, such a sweet moment! The couple had their first look beneath a gorgeous twisty banyan tree. Jon was in absolute awe over his stunning bride! They shared a special few minutes together before joining the rest of the bridal party for pictures. The ceremony took place at the bottom of the beautiful grand staircase right in front of the inn.  The reception was decorated with tall hydrangea centerpieces and soft candlelight in mercury glass votives. They had hula-hoops and glow sticks for the kids, which were a huge hit.  Everyone danced the night away on the patio and as the evening came to a close, Jessica and Jon had a sparkler exit into a decorated golf cart:-) Such a beautiful and fun destination for this sweet couple! Congrats Jessica and Jon! xoxoxo

{Danielle & Michael @Davis Island Yacht Club}

The Sailboats out on the bay made the most beautiful backdrop for Michael and Danielle's nautical themed wedding at the Davis Island Yacht Club.  Michael and his groomsmen wore gray suits with navy ties, fun socks, and nautical knot boutonnieres with an orchid in the center.  Danielle's gown had a lace overlay and the girls wore navy with cute yellow heels. Lanterns with sunflower accents and rose petals lined the aisle of the lawn for the ceremony. There was a perfect breeze for the flowing white drapery and glittery starfish hung from arbor.  During the ceremony Michael and Danielle did the "salt covenant" where they each had a pouch of salt, they each took a generous pinch from their own pouch and added it to the others. The covenant is performed to symbolize that their union can never be broken seeing as you can never retrieve your own grains of salt.  The views of the city and sailboats on the water was just the most gorgeous spot for photos The reception decor perfectly went along with their nautical theme. The tables had striped white and navy overlays with yellow florals with a little easel with a rope table number. Their escort cards also had a little knot with a ring and their guests name on them. I love their sign in! Everyone was to sign a piece of a Jenga game because "Marriage is a game of balance" LOVE!  The wedding cake was a tower of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with shiny pearls on top and the top layer was decorated with two starfish.  Such a beautiful and fun day for this sweet couple! Congrats Danielle and Michael! xoxoxo
