{Angela & Tommy @The Palmetto Club}

Angela and Tommy made a very unique entrance into their ceremony.  They each walked into the sanctuary on opposite side with their parents.  Their parents walked down the aisle and then Angela & Tommy walked down the aisle together.  They had the cutest group of flower girls and ring bearers all in white and black.  Angela wore a beautiful long sleeve lace overlay, and the girls were in different hues of blue while the guys were in black and white.  After they were officially Mr & Mrs Tellson, their guests played corn hole and badminton on the lawn at the Palmetto Club while we took photos of them in the lush garden. They had a kids table with all kinds of activities to keep them busy, and Puff N Stuff even had a special buffet just for them.  Angela’s family is from Germany and surprised them with the Umbrella game! Angela’s mom, aunt, and cousins entered in full German attire. Angela and Tommy got to choose guests to open a letter and do whatever the letter said with the couple.  Angela’s cousin performed an amazing Bavarian dance and then everyone enjoyed all sorts of German desserts!  We stole them away for a few photographs and night and you could just feel the joy and love these 2 have for each other! Congrats Angela & Tommy!!! xoxoxo

Happy New Year!  And an especially happy one for all of our couples who celebrated their very first one as Mr & Mrs!  We ended the year with Kristina & Jeff's fun and fabulous New Year's Eve wedding at the Vinoy, and started off 2016 with Caroline and Greg's beautiful beach wedding in perfect Florida style.  Our couples' in 2015 took us from Tampa, to a private island, and even all the way to Portugal!  The beautiful, priceless, and funny moments we had the honor of capturing was literally countless.  Thank you for entrusting us to capture your wedding vision through our eyes.  We wish you all the best year you could ever imagine, cheers to 2016!!! xoxoxo

{Sara & Anthony @ Hilton Clearwater Beach}

Sara and Anthony live and work on Clearwater Beach so it was the perfect place for their aqua, seaside wedding!  Anthony had his the sleeves of his groomsmen's shirts monogrammed and fish cuff links!  Sara had silver starfish bracelets and seahorse necklaces for her girls and her bracelet was a coordinating aqua on.  Sara's son Jericho, (Coco for short) was the ring bearer just the sweetest. Sara got her beautiful gown on at the church and after she was totally ready Coco came in to see her and gave her a big hug right before she and Anthony held hands around the doorframe!  Anthony's great grandmother had a sweet sign on the back of her wheelchair! I'm usually at the front and as Sara entered the church with her dad I heard Anthony say "WOW" as he saw his bride for the first time.  The love he has for Sara and her son is literally contagious and so sweet.  Anthony's family owns the Surfside Taphouse that is right across from the Hilton so we made a stop there to say hi to everyone and for a toast!  The reception was decorated in simple beach chic style with white chivari's, and aqua details and uplighting.  Each table was named after an ocean animal with little beach chairs and glass accents.  Their sweets table was pretty fantastic with a huge cupcake tower and all kinds of sweet treat!  The cake topper was a little mini Anthony with a storm trooper helmet and Sara with Mickey Mouse ears. The finishing touch was a custom sand sculpture that Anthony's parents surprised them with!  Anthony and his mom started out with a traditional mother son dance, but broke into a mash up of dance moves!  One of my favorite moments was when Sara picked up Jericho and danced with her little boy, there was definitely not a dry eye in the room including ours!  Their wedding was so full of love and fun from all their friends and family and we so enjoyed it!  The last surprise was that Anthony didn't tell Sara where they were going on their honeymoon, just to pack for a tropical climate. Just before we left he told me they were going to the gorgeous Turks & Caicos!  Congrats Sara & Anthony it was truly an honor and so much fun! xoxo

{Kasey & Travis @Hyatt Clearwater Beach}

You could say that Travis and Kasey were destined to be together! They have known each other almost their whole lives and even went to kindergarten together.  Their family and friends from West Virginia gathered in Clearwater at the Hyatt rooftop terrace for a beautiful outdoor ceremony.  The weather was absolutely perfect.  Their colors were yellow and gray.  Tall calla lily centerpieces with yellow rose petals sprinkled around the base decorated each table at the reception. With the sun shining in the ballroom and the yellow accents, the "sunshine state" was truly represented for the out of state guests.  Jody, from Grant Hemmond kept the party going and lots of fun was had on the dance floor!  Congrats Kasey and Travis!! xoxoxo

Ashley & Marco

Desoto National Memorial is a beautiful location on the water in Bradenton.  Palm trees, walkways and pretty light!  Love this session we did with Ashley and Marco.  There happened to be an older very sweet couple walking on the path and couldn't help but get a shot of them with their arms around each other:-)  5.29.14 at Cross Creek Ranch, we can't wait!

{Christina & Adam @Isla Del Sol}

Christina and Adam got tied the knot just before sunset at the beautiful Isla Del Sol.  They incorporated some really sweet and personal details.  My favorite was a sign that said "When 2 Become 1 on 2.1". Christina wore a beautiful lace dress, pearls as her accessories and a pair of light gold Antonio Milani's to top it off.  Adam looked handsome in his gray suit and bow tie. The guys wore vests but not jackets which was so perfect for the day and location.  The look on Adam's face as he saw Christina walk down the aisle was so sweet.  There were lots of joyful tears from friends and family.  Plum and pink seaside accents decorated the venue.  During the reception, Adam surprised Christina by sitting her down at the piano and singing to her.  It was the sweetest!  Congrats Adam and Christina!!! xoxoxo

{Autumn & Collin @Postcard Inn}

Autumn and Collin are both audiologists and met while working on their doctorates.  They went separate directions for residency, Autumn in Little Rock and Collin in Phoenix. In their 4th year, Autumn randomly decided to visit Collin and they have been inseparable ever since!  I LOVE the details and colors of their wedding.  The girls dresses are from White House Black Market and Autumn got them tan Toms wedges and chunky orange jewelry.  Autumn told me Collin is the more stylish of the two of them as she opened her gifts from him, cute Tory Burch flats and pearl earrings from Tiffanys.  He gets super bonus points for 2 of the best "T" brands:-)  Collin is from Michigan and Autumn got him Shinola watch that is a company founded in Detroit.  The boys wore tan suits, Sperrys with orange laces and bottoms, argyle socks, and orange and blue ties.  Apparently during Collin's bachelor party they met this random guy named Todd, that was giving them horrible advice on marriage so they had bracelets made that said "WWTD" for What Would Todd Do? hilarious.  Autumn walked up to Collin for their first look in the courtyard before the ceremony and Collin had a little bit of "eye sweat" that his brother told me never happens so it was really sweet.  Autumn's brother, Austin, officiated and he had everyone laughing historically when he said "I know we're from Arkansas, but I never thought I would be marrying my sister".  During the cocktail hour while we were doing pictures at sunset, Rachel was 2nd shooting with me and got everyone on the balcony for a surprise group photo.  They had a monogrammed custom corn hole game, lanterns, orange and white straws, koozies, and postcards from their travels on all the tables.  We did a canvas for their guests to sign from their engagement session, I always love how those turn out.  Instead of a cake they did tiny cupcakes and their favorite cookies which are huge chocolate chip and sea salt from Datz's bakery Dough.  Not gonna lie, I was at Datz not too long after and had to get another one, SO yummy!  Makes me happy to see them so happy.  Congrats Autumn and Collin!!! xoxoxo

{Laura & Chris @Selby Gardens}

Laura wore super cute Betsy Johnson shoes and a beautiful flowy gown.  She pinned a heart to the inside of her dress with her grandmother's initials on it to remember her on this special day.  The girls wore coral dresses with white hydrangea.  The boys wore gray suites, without the jacket, which I think is a great idea and so much cooler for the guys since it's almost always warm in Florida:-)  They said their ideas by the water and we had beautiful colors in the sky and random, but huge fireflies in the sky as well.  There were Cigars with Laura and Chris’s names on them for the guys to smoke during the reception.  Cupcakes, dancing, and lots of fun memories!!  Congrats Laura and Chris!! xoxoxo

{Lauren & Ric @Postcard Inn and NOVA 535}

Lauren's engagement ring and wedding band have really pretty sapphires in them and Ric's gift to her was a sapphire bracelet.  She had sapphire blue wedges for their beach ceremony and heels with sparkly bottoms for the reception.  The lace detail on her wedding dress is actually part of her mother's wedding dress.  Ric and the boys had a lot of fun getting ready, including photos with Ric's dog, and some photo bombing from their neighbors at PCI.  He gave his groomsmen Oakleys for their gift which definitely came in handy for a sunny day at Pass a Grille.  After a beautiful ceremony and sunset on the beach it was off to Nova 535 for the reception.  Black linens with magenta orchids and uplighting decorated the room.  Rick loves Dave Matthews Band, so they danced their first dance to You and Me.  Lauren's dad gave the most amazing toast that had everyone in tears.  One of the appetizers Puff N Stuff does are these "cuban cigars" that are served in a cigar box and to die for!  Instead of a favor, they donated to the Malala Foundation which is such an awesome cause.  A little bit of poker and a lot of dancing and amazing moments were had by all!  Congrats Lauren and Ric!!! xoxoxo

{Stephanie & David @The Florida Aquarium}

The excitement began and David and Stephanie saw each other for the first time as bride and groom!  I love this color scheme, coral with white and navy accents!  The cute little flower girls had on navy and white chevron dresses.  Their ceremony was in front of the sharks and turtles and the cocktail hour and reception outdoors on the patio.  The sharks definitely make for some fun photos:-)  They danced the night away and exited to bubbles as the new Mr & Mrs. David Troop!! Congrats you two!!! xoxoxo

{Mariah & Tyler @Rocking H Ranch}

Mariah and Tyler are friends with Ryan and Moira, who were also one of our couples and in fact, were in Mariah and Tyler's wedding:-)  Knowing that crew, we knew we would be in for a lot of fun!  Mariah's mom made a beautiful handkerchief with a special message for her daughter, and the ring she wore was her grandmother's engagement ring.  The girls wore navy with white bouquets.  Tyler and his best man, Rob, have been friends since childhood.  These guys are hilarious, the pictures really explain it.  Ryan was up to his usual free styling and break dancing on queue.  I love that there are double glass doors for you to enter the outdoor ceremony.  They said their vows under an enormous ancient oak tree that was dressed with flowing white fabric, twinkle lights and a beautifully lit chandelier. The sun was setting and it made for a beautiful backdrop to the ceremony.

The reception was on the lawn under the twinkle lights with accents of burlap and mason jars.  Tyler loves cooking, so the gift to their guests was "love rub", so creative!  Mariah had denim jackets for the girls to wear on the perfectly cool fall Florida evening.  They danced, laughed, shared so many special moments together and after they exited with sparkers found out the guys had carefully wrapped Tyler's entire truck in saran wrap!  Amazing-ness all around.  Congrats Mariah and Tyler!!! xoxoxo

{Alex & Kyle @Powel Crosley Estate}

 Alex and Kyle are high school sweethearts:-)  Kyle proposed to Alex in the keys, and the ring was buried in a conch shell.  So, it was very fitting for their rings to also be carried down the aisle in one.  Alex wore her grandmothers ring, and blinged out Betsey Johnson heels with her gorgeous gown layered in silk organza.  One of our favorite rooms in the estate is the wooden, totally round ship room.  That's where Kyle saw his bride to be for the first time!  Alex walked down the winding staircase to meet her dad and walk down the aisle.  Cocktails were outside with lawn games for their guests including, cornhole, a giant Jenga set, and ladder ball (also known as hick golf:-).  The decor was all wine themed with wooden wine boxes, and wine bottles having the menus, and signs for everything.  Navy, tangerine, green, and a little bit of chevron looked amazing!  The reception was all outside on the lawn overlooking the water and strung with white lights. It was gorgeous!  Congrats Kyle and Alex!!!  xoxoxo

{Jessica & Michael @A La Carte Event Pavilion}

Jessica and Michael had so much gorgeousness going on this one took me forever to choose what to tell the story!  With 15 bridesmaids, 15 groomsmen and 250 guests there is a lot to tell:-)  Jessica and her girls got ready at her house, I love the excitement of hair and makeup, and just all the fun moments with the girls.  Michael and the boys got ready at the Doubletree and were just so fun and laid back.  Their little ring bearer Peter was the cutest!  Jessica arrived in a Rolls Royce with her dad and walked down the aisle at Idlewild Baptist Church.  It was a really sweet and personal ceremony and you could just feel how excited they were to finally be married!

The reception was simply breath taking!!! I don't think there are words to describe how gorgeous the room at A La Carte Pavilion was decorated.  Purple was the color of the day.  Purple bridesmaids dresses, purple chocolate fountain, purple flowers, purple up lighting!  White draping boxed in the dance floor and gathered in the center, showcasing a huge crystal chandelier. Alternating tall glass floral centerpieces and three tiered glass vases with floating candles and florals were the centerpieces. Everything from Jessica's gown, to the linens on the sweet heart table, the stems of the champaign goblets, and the cake topper were all dripped in "bling"!  Jessica and Michael really had a lot of unique details that made it really fun and personal.  They had a sign with their Instagram # to let their guests know to share that when posting photos.  Dinner was broken up into courses and each course had a dance intermission which was such a great idea.  The flower girls had on ballet slippers and the ring bearers changed into tuxedo shirts for the reception.  The dance floor was packed the entire night!  Michael and Jessica were hoisted above the crowd in their chairs for a traditional Italian dance.  The cake was draped in pink roses and their guests enjoyed all kinds of desserts and pastries.  We even snuck away a few pics on the dock out back:-)  An amazing and beautiful time had by all!!  Congrats Jessica and Michael!!!! xoxoxox

Courtney & Joe

Courtney and Joe met in high school, and it wasn't till college that it developed into something more:-)  Joe proposed in the Keys at the top of a lighthouse looking out over the water and they will be tying the knot on May 10th, 2014!!  These 2 are so sweet and fun!  Robinson Preserve is a beautiful scenic park with overlooks and bridges where you can watch the sunset over the bay, so pretty!!!!

Jennifer & AJ

Jennifer and AJ love the outdoors, fishing, and the beach.  We used that backdrop for their engagement session.  I especially love the massive crazy tree!  Walking along we happened to find a tree with lots of initials carved in and there was a big heart with an A + J already carved for them:-)   How perfect is that?  We can't wait till 5.10.14!

{Brooke & Ware @ The Renaissance Vinoy}

Brooke and Ware live in Atlanta, and their family and friends traveled in from all over to celebrate this amazing wedding weekend with them!  It was so fun to be a part of the rehearsal dinner and get to hear a little glimpse of how much everyone loves them and how excited they were for the wedding.

When I arrived on Saturday morning, Brooke was getting her hair and makeup finished and all the girls dresses were perfectly hung for me.  I LOVE her shoes, I sent a pic to my husband for Christmas present ideas hint hint, he said "I'll just get a can of red spray paint and fix all your shoes" ah!  The funny this is I was working with Alex, from Voila Cinematic and he said the same thing!  Brooke's dress is from the Say Yes to the Dress store in Atlanta.  It was made of beautiful lace with little off the shoulder sleeves and a crystal sash.  When Sylense was out with the boys in Vinoy park, they met another bride also getting married.  They both had very special gifts for a each other that the maid of honor delivered to the boys, and the best man to the girls.  Ware was totally in shock that Brooke surprised him with Master's tickets, I still don't know if he believes it:-)  Brooke was equally shocked with the letter her wrote her and the perfect Michelle watch.

We were on the 4th floor overlooking the tea garden and we could watch as they were building the florals.  They actually took off the top of the fountain and replaced it with gorgeous yellow and white florals.  Ware teared up as he saw Brooke appear with her dad.  The grand ballroom was draped with tall florals in mercury glass.  From the second everyone entered, the Headliners rocked the night away!  I think the biggest surprise of the evening was that Brooke's dad Gary, actually made a star Trek film that he starred in, which then went into a sweet slideshow that played during the father daughter dance.  I have to say, Gary, that was pretty awesome.  Brooke and Ware met at Auburn, so there was an Auburn cake and pom poms for all, and for their exit!  There are so many more fun moments I could share but I'll let you see the pics!  Congrats Brooke and Ware!!! xoxoxo
