{Kristina & Jeff @ The Renaissance Vinoy Hotel}

Kristina & Jeff’s aka #jeffstinawedding on new year’s eve was the absolute perfect ending to 2015!  Our brides have the best taste in wedding gowns, and Kristina’s was an absolutely stunning champagne/blush gown from Kleinfeld’s in NYC.  One of her friends had a beautiful “B” broach made as a gift to go on her bouquet, with photos of their loved ones who were there in spirit.  When I was talking photos of the girls shoes, their adorable little ring bearer wanted his flip flops in the lineupJ I have to say, Jeff wins the prize for my most favorite detail of 2015.  His cufflinks were unicorns, LOVE!!!!!!!  We did a first look in the garden and some bridal party photos before the ceremony at dusk in the tea garden.  The ring bearer took a little detour to say hi as he walked down the aisle!  They said their I do’s with in a rose petal and candle lit ceremony with the Vinoy as the backdrop.  Since it was dark out after the ceremony I got to do some extra creative video light photos of them in different spots.  Yesterday I posted a photo Kristina Jeff with a random little boy in the background that was so cute, and I didn’t notice while I was shooting.  Kristina told me he told them they would have kids someday and to be nice to them!  Words of wisdomJ  One side of the ballroom was decorated with blush/white florals, and black and silver accents for dinner and toasts.  After dinner, they pulled back the curtain that made it a separate space for the party!  They had a sweets table, 2016 photobooth with a live instagram feed, and late night snacks.  Just before midnight everyone got champagne and headed up to the Esplanade to watch the fireworks in downtown St. Pete.  We had so much fun with these 2 and could not be happier for them!!  Congrats Kristina & Jeff!!! xoxoxox

{Alyssa & Josh @Tampa Palms Country Club}

Alyssa and Josh’s wedding style was subtle fall accents and a red, orange and gold color palette.  Alyssa looked just plain gorgeous in her layered, organza gown with a crystal sash and feather hairpiece.  The ceremony was under the verandah at Tampa Palms decorated with a white runner, lanterns and coordinating florals.  During the ceremony they did the wine ceremony, which symbolizes to lives blending together as one.  Alyssa’s mom and Josh’s mom each poured a glass of wine into a single glass for them to then serve each other.  Josh stomped on the glass (a different one of courseJ and they were officially Mr. & Mrs. Culp.   The bridesmaids red dresses with the red and yellow looked gorgeous against the golf course backdrop!  Their reception was decorated with alternating tall and short golf candelabras and vases with orange linens and a carmel apple as the favor.  Each of their parents did a little mini toast to Alyssa and Josh, which was so sweet to hear the love and happiness their parents have for them!  Then they danced until they couldn’t anymore! Congrats Alyssa & Josh!! xoxoxo

{Sara & John @ Shady Oak Farm}

Sara and John’s wedding style was classic, southern elegance with a gold, orange, and purple color palette.  The first person we saw when we got to the hotel for getting ready was John’s brother, Noah, he introduced himself as the best man and you could tell how happy and excited he was for his brother. Sara wore her mom’s veil and they custom ordered the same lace that was on her gown so that it matched perfectly.  John had handwritten letters for Sara to read at different times starting Friday night, his last one her dad gave to her just before she walked down the aisle.  She had a pretty special surprise gift she had hand delivered to John as well. The entire bridal party wore cowboy boots since Sara has always loved horses and the reception was on her parents’ beautiful 5 acre estate, Shady Oaks Farm.  Once she was bridal ready, we did a first look with her mom and bridesmaids and then dad. Still gets me every time! Just before the processional started Noah fixed Father Pelligrino’s robe and then it was go time.  The priest said everyone was so happy when they found out these 2 were dating because they are such a perfect match!  The backdrop of mossy oak trees and lake was so gorgeous!  The reception was under a white tent with gold linens and and white, purple, and orange florals with accents of wheat and sunflowers.  They had custom white and red Wedded Wine on each table and the favors were jars of honey that said “Meant to Be”.  It was an amazing party and celebration with their friends and family and we so enjoyed it!  Congrats Sara and John!!! xoxoxo

{Cassie & Matt @ The Hilton Clearwater Beach}

Cassie and Matt chose the Hilton Clearwater beach for the destination wedding from Oregon!  They had family and friends join them from 7 different states for their beautiful ceremony on the beach.  Her bouquet was made out of blue and aqua broaches that matched her jeweled hair piece.  As Cassie walked down the aisle she left her flip flops along the way, toes in the sand are way better anyway!  Cassie and Matt are both aerospace engineers and they had a gorgeous glass airplane as their cake topper.  They had a super fun and casual reception on the patio with the view of the sunset. When the sun went down there was a fire pit and tiki torches for everyone to enjoy and we got some awesome photos of them at night it in as well! Congrats Cassie and Matt!!

{Lisa & John @ Van Dyke Church}

Lisa & John had a beautiful ceremony in the chapel at their home church, Van Dyke Church.  John even had a tear as the doors opened and his beautiful bride entered the room!  Pastor Matthew married them in a candle lit ceremony with their friends and family. Their colors were silver, aqua, and blue with just a hint of peacock feathers on the favors and guest book. Lisa changed into a cute lace dress for first dance and outdoor reception on the patio. We just love being a part of the joy and happiness!  Congrats Lisa and John!!

{Billie & Andrew @ The Florida Aquarium}

Andrew asked Billie to marry him in one of the caves of the Aquarium on New Years Eve, so it was of course the perfect and most meaningful location for their wedding!  Billie's aunt does all the draping of the coral reef room at the aquarium, and she did an absolutely beautiful job for their special day. There were crystal beaded tie-backs and purple up-lighting to set the tone for the ceremony.  Billie entered the room with her dad and they said their I do's in front of the panoramic aquarium with sharks and sea turtles as the backdrop. While their guests sipped on cocktails and enjoyed the exhibits, the main lobby underwent a beautiful transformation. It was draped in white and the  tables were decorated with beautiful pink and plum colored flowers. License plates from different states sat on top of stacks of old books and served as the table names! Each guest had to use their placard and find their "state". The cake was the perfect accent to the purple and silver color palette.  Billie wore heels for the ceremony and converse for dancing!  Such a fun and special day for this sweet couple! Congrats Billie and Andrew! xoxoxoxo

{Brittani & Brandon @ Sandpearl Resort}

Brittani looked absolutely breathtaking in her organza layered gown, and 5 inch sequined heels! Their daughter, Ta'raji, was the cutest flower girl, and wore a matching layered gown that Brittani's mom added plum accents to.  I am in love with their wedding style. I would call it bling chic:-) The official colors were Aubergine (Plum), Mojito (light green), Ivory and Charcoal. The ceremony was in the half round on the lawn overlooking the beach at the Sand Pearl.  They said their I do's under an acrylic arch with crystals and draping. Ta'Raji decided to take her nap right before the ceremony and she slept through the whole thing! They wrote the sweetest vows to each other, jumped the broom then danced their way down the aisle! We literally had the most beautiful golden sunset as the backdrop for their photos after the ceremony.  The reception decor created a beautiful ambiance with tall floral center pieces, floating candles, clear acrylic chivari chairs, and a white dance floor.  Each guests' champagne glass even had a strawberry slice.  While Brittani and Brandon danced their first dance, Ta'Raji did her own little dance around them:-)  We so loved capturing all these sweet moments! {Jessica & Jon @ Useppa Island}

Jessica and Jon wanted to do a Florida destination style wedding where their friends and family could join them for a weekend of celebration.  The perfect location was the gorgeous Useppa Island club which is a private island you can only get to by boat!  Jessica, her mom and bridesmaids all get ready in the beautiful upstairs suite at the Useppa Island Inn. Jessica wore a gorgeous strapless tulle dress with a crystal-beaded belt and the most adorable sparkly Betsy Johnson flats! Right before Jessica and Jon saw each other for the first time, all the girls prayed over Jessica, such a sweet moment! The couple had their first look beneath a gorgeous twisty banyan tree. Jon was in absolute awe over his stunning bride! They shared a special few minutes together before joining the rest of the bridal party for pictures. The ceremony took place at the bottom of the beautiful grand staircase right in front of the inn.  The reception was decorated with tall hydrangea centerpieces and soft candlelight in mercury glass votives. They had hula-hoops and glow sticks for the kids, which were a huge hit.  Everyone danced the night away on the patio and as the evening came to a close, Jessica and Jon had a sparkler exit into a decorated golf cart:-) Such a beautiful and fun destination for this sweet couple! Congrats Jessica and Jon! xoxoxo

{Aleigha & Jon @ The Powel Crosley Estate}

Aleigha and Jon chose the gorgeous Powel Crosley Estate in Sarasota for their big day!  Jon is from Toronto, Canada, and is a huge Toronto Maple Leaf hockey fan, so for Aleigha’s something blue, she had a Toronto Maple Leaf patch sewn into the bottom of her wedding dress:-)  The color palette was teal, mint, gray, and white. Even the historic marker on the property matched their colors! Aleigha is very close with her family, and did a first look with her father and four brothers in the ship room.  All of their reactions when they first saw her as a beautiful bride were priceless. Aleigha gave Jon cuff links as a gift, that had their initials and date on one and "best day ever" on the other. Just before the ceremony, they held hands with a door separating them so they couldn't see each other.  As they stood on either side of the door they told one another exactly how they were feeling in that precious moment right before their wedding. Jon’s adorable niece, Maddy, was the flower girl and as she walked down the aisle she carried a sign that read, “Uncle Jonny, here comes your bride”. During the ceremony Aleigha’s sister sang them a song while she played the guitar, it was beautiful!  After the ceremony the bridal party did their entrances into the reception and they were ALL so creative and fun!  Dinner was in a tent on the back lawn decorated with lanterns, gray linens, and teal and mint accents. The toasts were amazing and had everyone laughing.  There was a beautiful sunset, dancing on the terrace and an ice cream bar for everyone to enjoy. An amazing night for this sweet couple! Congrats Aleigha and Jon! xoxo

{Heather & Doug @ St. Augustine Beach}

Heather and Doug rented 4 cottages on the beach in St Augustine for their family and friends to enjoy their wedding celebration weekend. Heather’s favorite flower is the sunflower, and she actually made all the arrangements herself! Their ceremony backdrop was the Atlantic ocean, it was so beautiful! Heather has 3 children, and during the ceremony the pastor had each one come up and Doug said vows to them too. When it was time for the exchanging of rings, he had both Heather’s parents and Doug's parents come up and each held the rings and said a little prayer over them. The reception was in a tent overlooking the beach.  It was just laid back and so much fun! Congrats Heather & Doug!!! xoxoxo

{Elise & David @ The Tampa Yacht Club}

David and Elise met while Elise was an exchange student from France studying here in Florida. The following semester, David was an exchange student in France:-)  Before I had met David, Elise told me he was the nicest guy on earth and seriously, he really is the sweetest.  They love each other so much it makes me smile just writing this.  David wrote Elise a really sweet card and she wrote him one too.  Elise had a little piece of David's great grandmother's wedding dress for her bouquet.  The girls were in Navy and the boys in charcoal with navy ties. They saw each other for the first time on the staircase at the Tampa Yacht Club and we did some beautiful photos under the oak trees.  Before the ceremony, Elise and David took part in a Chinese Tea Ceremony with Elise’s parents. This ancient Chinese tradition served as the groom’s symbolic introduction to his bride’s family.  The ceremony was at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church, and their little ring bearer decided to take a little detour to see his mom before walking down the aisle.  After the ceremony we took the bridal party out to Bayshore Blvd and we happened to get some photos by the "giant slinky" as I like to call it.  Cocktail hour was in the tent out back with patterned navy linens and an amazing floral center piece hung above the dance floor. Yellow and ivory florals with soft candlelight and uplighting set the ambiance for this romantic evening.  Instead of a cake they had a French Croquembouche Cake, which was like lots of little puff pastries designed into a tall cake lit with sparklers when they cut it. Phase 5 made it an amazing party and before their guests left, there were little Macaroon favors waiting for them. This night was positively perfect for this beautiful and sweet couple! Congrats Elise and David! xoxoxo

{Christina & Jason @ Wishing Well Barn}

Christina and Jason have known one another for their whole lives! Christina's older brother married Jason's older sister right around the time Christina was born. She told us that she had a crush on him her whole life and secretly wished all of his girlfriends away ;-) Then one day, it happened, he kissed her! They have been together ever since. They had their rustic chic wedding at the Wishing Well Barn.  Light pink, cream lace, and burlap decorated the barn. Christina had all kinds of cute sayings written on chalkboards throughout the entire place. They had one of the most unique guest books we have seen...an acrylic "Mason jar" that had an opening at the top where guests put mini wooden cut-out hearts with their name and message on them. Their beautiful cake, from Sweetie's Delights, sat on a tree stump on the cake table! The girls got ready in the bridal house behind the barn. Christina wore a beautiful strapless, corset back gown and she looked gorgeous. They had a wooden box to hold their rings and made a cute pink gingham pillow inside to keep them secure! Jason's reaction to seeing his beautiful bride walk down the isle was "WOW"...even the pastor agreed with him :)  After reciting their personal vows, they had a sand ceremony and were announced husband and wife. We took them around the property for some fun portraits while the guests enjoyed cocktail hour. They even took some photos with the Wishing Well resident horse...who was very fond of Christina!!!! There was a delicious BBQ buffet for dinner. It was a beautiful and fun day for this sweet couple! Congrats Christina & Jason!!! xoxo

{Lauren & Brian @ Cross Creek Ranch}

Lauren wore a beautiful layered organza gown, but underneath she wore teal and brown cowboy boots (with socks that had raccoons on them of course:-) On the stem of Lauren's bouquet was lace with buttons that happened to be a part of her mother's wedding gown. Brian had 2 groomsmen and a groomswoman, she wore the same dress as the bridesmaids but the same color as the guys suits. While we were doing photos them his grandmother arrived and just had the sweetest reaction to seeing her grandson. Their ceremony was on the lawn, through white double doors with a rustic wooden arch. After they were officially the new Mr & Mrs, Brian jumped up and down with excitement, literally.  We love working with the team at Cross Creek because they make everything seamless and are so helpful.  I had this idea to backlight Lauren & Brian behind these stained glass windows and Nancy jumped right in and held the flash for me:-) One of the test shots is my favorite. The antique barn was draped in twinkling lights, lanterns, birdcages, and lace. They had ribs and bbq for the reception and one of Lauren's friends made a perfectly matching "bridal smock" so she didn't get anything on her pretty dress.  Seriously, genius!  One the dancing got under way, Lauren's grandfather said to me "I don't ever dance, but I have to with my beautiful granddaughter on her wedding day." Those are the moments in life that matter and are really just so beautiful. That hat with tuelle blusher on it was actually the hat Lauren's mom wore on her wedding day:-)  The very last dance was just Lauren and Brian on the dance floor enjoying the final minutes of their perfect day. Congrats!!! xoxoxo

{Kimberly & Erik @ The Westin Tampa Bay}

Kimberly planned so many personal & fun little surprises for Erik and their entire bridal party.  Erik LOVES the Red Sox and she secretly decorated the guys suite with all kinds of Boston swag!  Kimberly had her grandmother's broach on her bouquet, and on the Jr. Bridesmaids' bouquets a custom charm with a message from Kimberly for their weddings' someday. Kimberly had a red rose attached to her bouquet that she gave her dad right before he gave her away.  Instead of a unity candle they put together pieces of a cross.  Pastor Dave explained the meaning of each piece, and it's something they will always have in their home to remember their wedding day.  It was a beautiful evening for cocktails on the rooftop terrace of the Westin. The reception decor was stunning, not to mention the view of the sun setting over the bay! Beige linens with gold chargers and white alternating tall and short orchids decorated each table. They had a little bells for guests to ring for a kiss. In lieu of favors, they had cards that their guests could choose a charity that Kimberly & Erik would donate to in their name.  One tradition we don't see very often but I love (I did it at my wedding:-) is the cake charm pull. There were little envelopes with ribbons attached at the base of the cake. Kimberly's girls each got to choose one, and inside was a charm each with a different meaning and positive message. Kimberly even had Jessica, her event planner, and Kristina, the catering manager choose one!  Right after they cut their cake, Erik was surprised with an AMAZING Boston Red Sox cake!  Kimberly changed into a 2nd dress with aqua heels for their choreographed first dance. Instead of the garter and bouquet, they had an anniversary dance and the couple married the longest, which ended up being Kimberly's Aunt & Uncle, were given a bouquet that was made from pages of the book Pride & Prejudice.  The ice sculpture was filled with dessert shots and the servers passed all different little gourmet chocolates. Kimberly had a basket of dancing slippers in little gold pouches for the ladies and dance the night away, and they sure did!!! Congrats Erik & Kimberly!!!!

{Ashlee & Andrew @ Lange Farm}

Ashlee & Andrew and their entire bridal party all wore cowboy boots for their chic, country wedding.  The girls in lace, mint, dresses and the boys in gold vests with mint ties and jeans.  Their ceremony was under the big oak tree at Lange Farm, the first row was set with church pews for their family.  Each row had a little bit burlap with flowers and a horseshoe and there were crystal chandeliers hanging from the trees.  It was lovely and the perfect weather!  Ashlee loves horses and there are some very friendly ones and Lange Farm that love to be in photos:-) The Garden House was decorated in beautiful florals with stringed pearl accents on top of burlap and lace table runners. Their guests place cards had a horseshoe tied to them for the favor.  The sweets table was to die for!  All different flavors of cupcakes on layer wooden crates with a little cake for Ashlee & Andrew to cut. Ashlee is the youngest of 5 sisters, we actually did her sister Heather's wedding 4 years ago so it was so nice to see her and Eric again too!  Ashlee's dad gave a toast and had Ashlee cut a ribbon to symbolize that he's cutting the ties as she is the baby of the family.  This group certainly knows how to celebrate, it was a blast! Congrats Ashlee & Andrew!!!! xoxoxo

{Mariana & David @ Hunters Green Country Club}

Mariana and her family are from Argentina, and in addition to the resident priest, Mariana and David had a priest from Argentina come and help officiate the ceremony as well.  I love the lace cap sleeves Mariana wore over her beautiful gown.  The girls wore blue/violet high-low dresses with with white and yellow flowers and the boys were in beige suits and plaid ties.  Their little flower girl looked so comfy in the red wagon she got to ride down the aisle in.  After the ceremony, Mariana and David exited the church to their awaiting limo through a tunnel of bubbles and cheers of happiness from all of their guests. Mariana's brother is a videographer and set designer.  He did such an incredible job making Mariana's vision for the reception come to life.  He put together a beautiful backdrop for Mariana and David's sweetheart table and hung stringed lights throughout the room. There were mason jars with their initials at each guests place for favors. Both of their dad's gave beautiful toasts at the reception followed by ridiculous amounts of dancing!  This was such a fun and loving family and the day turned out beautifully! Congrats Mariana and David! xoxoxo

{Danielle & Bryce @ Safety Harbor Resort and Spa}

"When I tell you I love you, I don't say it out of habit, or to make conversation. I say it to remind you that you are the best thing that ever happened to me".  That was what the picture frame Danielle gave Bryce said, and it really just sums of the energy and feel of their beautiful wedding day.  Danielle's gift arrived wrapped in purple and sequins personally wrapped by Bryce. Danielle's bouquet was a simple, with beautifully open lilac roses.  I love her style, simplicity with sparkle.  There were sparkles on her shoes and the band on her invitations.  The girls were in periwinkle, boys in dark gray with black & gray cool socks.  Danielle & Bryce said their vows in front of a huge stained glass backdrop at their church.  Some of my favorite moments of the day were right after the ceremony, hugs and happiness, especially Bryce's grandma:-)  The pretty sunlight by the sailboats and tall palm trees at Safety Harbor was just amazing.  When you opened the door to walk into the Four Springs Ballroom, it was stunning. Draped in white with lilac table overlays, lilac roses, with hydrangea and candles topped each table.  It was truly the perfect day and we loved capturing every moment!  Congrats Danielle & Bryce!!! xoxox

{Jen-L & Michal}

Jen-L and Michal had an intimate wedding at her parents home in Lutz.  The details were beautiful, burlap, lace, candles, in stunning DIY fashion.  Their living room that has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake was was decorated with white chivaris, linens, and florals.  The dining room had a long table in the center with a burlap and lace runner for the cake topped with 2 penguins.  Jen-L's mother made all the desserts and yummy treats for the dessert table, and they had a coffee bar with sugar sticks, whipped cream, and little delicious accents.  Jen-L had fabulous blue Christian Louboutin's and she wore a gorgeous lace gown.  The ceremony was on the lawn next to the lake.  A burlap runner led the bridal party from the house, over the wooden bridge decorated with mason jars and candles to the beautiful floral trellis where Jen-L and Michal said their vows at sunset.  Everyone enjoyed lobster, dancing, and a beautiful evening of dancing outside!  Congrats Jen-L and Michal!  xoxoxo
