{Melissa & Mike @ The Hilton Clearwater Beach}

I learned that Mike is super crafty.  He actually hand crafted their ring box and all the girls foot jewelry for the beach! Melissa said he was bored during hurricane Irma.  They literally had the perfect weather for their wedding on the beach and Sandpiper deck at the Hilton Clearwater Beach.  Melissa's twin sister, Megan, (AKA fake Melissa:-) was her maid of honor and Mike's dad was his best man.  I love the custom wooden boxes that matched the guys sunglasses that Mike had gotten them as a gift.  In true beach style the girls were in teal dresses and the guys in tan shorts and Sperrys.  They all had so much fun getting ready, and that was just the beginning!  Before the ceremony we got Mike all set behind a sand dune ready to see his bride.  He had her do a little spin and then he did one too!  They had "shoe parking" for their guests so they could have their toes in the sand.  Teal and green florals with greenery behind decorated their arch.  I know sometimes people think if you do first look that it's not as meaningful a moment when the groom sees the bride walking down the aisle, but Mike had one of the sweetest reactions when he saw Melissa walking toward him.  There were some surprise seagull guests that decided to join us for a few photos as well!  The overcast sky was awesome after the ceremony.  As we headed down the beach the paddle boards and canoes were all packed up but they happened to match their wedding colors perfectly, how awesome is that? The girls found a sand beach bunny that needed to be in a photo with their flowers.  Since it was cloudy we did sunset photos a little earlier so Melissa and Mike got to go to their cocktail hour and enjoy the food and the view.   Their colors looked fabulous on the deck and there were little wooden sea turtles on everything from the invitations, to the cake, and even the center pieces.  Their guests couldn't wait to get the party started, they opened the dance floor during cocktail hour.  The toasted, and ate, and danced, and smoked cigars (while watching the Yankees) with the view of the gulf in the background.  Congrats you guys it was amazing!!! xoxoxo

{Rachel & Steve @ Carlouel Yacht Club}

Rachel wore this light and flowy lace gown with a floral crown that was just perfect for the beach!   Her garter was even made of lace that was so pretty and completed her look.  There's this little shaded garden right behind the yacht club where Rachel walked up to Steve and the happiness was just beyond words. You might remember Penguin (who is actually their cat:-) made an appearance in their engagement session and he of course had to included with his little bow tie!  Steve's 2 brothers where his groomsmen in gray suits and purple ties, and his sister was his "grooms woman".  I love her gray dress matched the guys suits and complimented the girls dresses.  During the ceremony they honored their moms by giving them each a rose and my favorite part was that they had Martin, Rachel's 92 year old grandpa come up to sign the marriage license and make it official!  It was a overcast sunset which gives you that light color and texture in the sky.  Rachel and Steve are both chemists, so the glass vase they poured the sand in for the sand ceremony was a beaker as well as their cake toppers were a bride and groom beaker and one for Penguin too!  Their wedding # was #beachchemists. The reception was decorated in white, candle light, and purple florals with little cookies in the shape of Florida for favors.  From the toasts, dances, to Hannah singing a special song for them it's pretty clear how much these 2 of are loved by all!  Congratulations Rachel & Steve!!!! xoxoxo

{Amber & Chris @ The Hyatt Regancy Clearwater Beach}

Amber and Chris live in Raleigh, NC and planned their destination wedding on Clearwater Beach.  It was so apparent throughout the day that everyone in attendance were the dearest and most loved people in their lives.  Amber's dad came in to see her after she was totally ready and it was just plain the sweetest.  Chris was grinning from ear to ear the entire day and just plain head of heels for this girl!  They got married on the 16th floor terrace overlooking the bay and the gulf with white, aqua and pink florals.  We loved the time we got to spend with them for photos on the beach after the ceremony, there was even a rainbow:-)  Their beach chic style incorporated white lanterns, shells, and a message in a bottle for their guests to write to them.  Amber is a dance instructor (that's how they met, Chris was actually a student in one of her classes:-) so as expected, their first dance was fabulous!  Chris had a special toast with tears in his eyes about Amber and how forever grateful they were for having everyone there to celebrate with them.  Carrie got to see them for a day after session on the beach so we'll be posting that prettiness later!  We loved every minute of it, thank you guys for having us there to capture it!!! xoxoxo

{Liz & Billy @ The Hyatt Clearwater Beach}

Liz & Billy live in NYC and brought their friends and family down to the Hyatt Clearwater beach for their wedding celebration.  Liz's MOH and bridesmaid were Billy's 2 daughters, and Billy's best man was his son and groomsmen were Liz's twin sons.  Liz had a custom piece made with their names, a six pence, and blue crystal that was the perfect accent for the gorgeous white and succulent bouquet.  I love their beach chic style with the girls in light gray dress and the boys in white linen shirts and grey pants and shoes. Liz's lace and sheer backed gown was just gorgeous.  The rain held off and gave us some filtered sun for their ceremony on the 16th floor terrace.  You could see how happy and emotional Billy was as his 2 beautiful daughters walked down the aisle.  Liz was escorted by her two sons who were so proud to be giving away their mom.  After the ceremony their guests enjoyed cocktails on the balcony while we did their photos on the beach.  Their reception decor was white and green with hints of burlap and succulents.  From the minute they entered it was non stop dancing and fun. This family has got moves, especially Billy and his nephews:-)  We so enjoyed spending the day with you guys, contacts Liz and Billy!!!!

{Lauren & Kyle @ Carlouel Yacht Club}

Lauren and Kyle’s wedding was casual and fun with lots of special custom details! Lauren’s light and flowy gown was custom order from Australia and the perfect dress for the beach.  Lauren’s mom made all the hangers for the dresses and the letter H with seashells from the beach Lauren grew up on. All the girls helped Lauren get into her dress and some of the sweetest moments were with her mom.  The girls wore navy, knee length dresses with pockets and the guys were in navy pants, white shirts, and coral belts with seashell boutonnieres.  Their beach ceremony was decorated with simple palm leaves, sunglasses for their guests and a place for everyone to leave their shoes.  A steel drummer played as everyone got seated for the ceremony.  Lauren looked so pretty and excited and she walked down the long wood path to meet Kyle at the end of the aisle.  Her brother in law officiated the ceremony and her aunt and cousin played “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” on the ukulele.  It was a perfectly clear and white sandy beach day!  Their place cards were tied with little life preservers and they had a white monogram for everyone to sign.  Lauren and Kyle met in Chicago so their cake had a Chicago Bears symbol surrounded by mini key lime pies.  From the moment they entered the reception until it was over was just full of sweet moments, laughs, and even a few happy tears.  Congrats Lauren and Kyle!! xoxoxo

{Sarah & Shaun @ Kapok Special Events Center}

Sarah and Shaun really put so much thoughtfulness into their wedding details and special surprises for their family and friends.  Their Tiffany Blue, white and gray color palette matched the venue perfectly.  They sent each other sweet gifts while getting ready!  One of the groomsmen sent a video of Shaun opening his gift to Sarah so she could see his reaction while getting ready.  Her gown was a simple, but stunning with a jeweled waist and buttons down the sheer back.  Just before Sarah walked down the aisle, the curtains closed and she was in the spotlight as you could see her silhouette from behind the curtain.  Her brother walked her down the aisle and handed her off to Shaun.  Sarah's brother in law became an officiant just for their ceremony.  Instead of a unity candle they poured together different colors of glass pieces that is going to be turned into an art piece for their home.  The light in the garden by the fountains was so gorgeous for their photos after the ceremony.  Sarah's favorite flower is the orchid and she had just a touch of that in her bouquet.  The reception was decorated with tall branches and white roses and tulips.  They had a gourmet popcorn bar with little custom favor bags for their guests to take home with them.  During their first dance, Sarah and Shaun surprised both Shaun's parents and Sarah's sister and brother in law by having them join in.  Neither of them had a first dance for their weddings so it was such a special moment for them to all share together.  Sarah danced with her mom and had friends and family members each bring her a single rose while they were dancing, it was the sweetest!  During dinner, Sarah snuck away to change into a whole new look that made her look like a goddess!  Before we knew it, it was time for Rolls Royce exit.  Congrats Sarah and Shaun!! xoxoxo

{Sara & Anthony @ Hilton Clearwater Beach}

Sara and Anthony live and work on Clearwater Beach so it was the perfect place for their aqua, seaside wedding!  Anthony had his the sleeves of his groomsmen's shirts monogrammed and fish cuff links!  Sara had silver starfish bracelets and seahorse necklaces for her girls and her bracelet was a coordinating aqua on.  Sara's son Jericho, (Coco for short) was the ring bearer just the sweetest. Sara got her beautiful gown on at the church and after she was totally ready Coco came in to see her and gave her a big hug right before she and Anthony held hands around the doorframe!  Anthony's great grandmother had a sweet sign on the back of her wheelchair! I'm usually at the front and as Sara entered the church with her dad I heard Anthony say "WOW" as he saw his bride for the first time.  The love he has for Sara and her son is literally contagious and so sweet.  Anthony's family owns the Surfside Taphouse that is right across from the Hilton so we made a stop there to say hi to everyone and for a toast!  The reception was decorated in simple beach chic style with white chivari's, and aqua details and uplighting.  Each table was named after an ocean animal with little beach chairs and glass accents.  Their sweets table was pretty fantastic with a huge cupcake tower and all kinds of sweet treat!  The cake topper was a little mini Anthony with a storm trooper helmet and Sara with Mickey Mouse ears. The finishing touch was a custom sand sculpture that Anthony's parents surprised them with!  Anthony and his mom started out with a traditional mother son dance, but broke into a mash up of dance moves!  One of my favorite moments was when Sara picked up Jericho and danced with her little boy, there was definitely not a dry eye in the room including ours!  Their wedding was so full of love and fun from all their friends and family and we so enjoyed it!  The last surprise was that Anthony didn't tell Sara where they were going on their honeymoon, just to pack for a tropical climate. Just before we left he told me they were going to the gorgeous Turks & Caicos!  Congrats Sara & Anthony it was truly an honor and so much fun! xoxo

{Jessica & Pablo @ The Hilton Clearwater Beach}

Jessica is from Mexico and Pablo is from Venezuela but they met in Ohio when Pablo's cousin introduced them.  Pablo proposed to Jessica on her birthday.  He had the engagement ring hidden in her favorite dessert and she kept taking bites all around the ring not knowing it was there.  Pablo couldn't take the anticipation so he took the ring out and popped the question!  Jessica loved the Hello Kitty pandora bracelet Pablo gave her. Pablo's niece was the flower girl and Jessica said it took her longer to choose her dress that it took for Jessica to pick her gown:-)  She wanted the "pouffiest" dress should could find, and what flower girl wouldn't?:-)  When she walked down the aisle right before Jessica the tears started flowing, it was so sweet.  During the ceremony, they did a tradition where Pablo gives Jessica 13 coins and promises to her all the qualities he is going to be in a husband.  Their friends and family traveled from all over the US, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Venezuela to Clearwater Beach.  It was a VERY windy day, sand dunes were even forming on the beach. It made for some amazing photos with Jessica's long veil and there was a beautiful sunset with textury (I think I made that word up:-) clouds in the background. The colors were green and beige with white florals.  Jessica danced with her dad and Pablo with his mom and then they switched.  Jessica danced with Pablo's dad and Pablo danced with Jessica's mom. They danced and danced and danced. Congrats Pablo and Jessica!!!!  xoxoxo
