{Cassie & Scott @ The Palmetto Club}

"We got the bubbly" was the quote on the super cute tanks that all Cassie's bridesmaids were wearing.  Cassie's wedding style was old Hollywood glam, and that champagne lace gown was absolutely stunning.   Cassie did a first look with her dad and he gave her the biggest, sweetest hug.  She is his 3rd of 3 girls to walk down the aisle so I'm sure it was a little extra emotional for him.  The gray, with white and yellow accents was perfect for this elegant summer wedding in the garden.  The adorable little flower girls and ring bearers might have stolen the show as the walked down the aisle. But, that moment when Scott saw Cassie escorted by her dad to become his wife, there really just isn't any other moment like that!  The light in the garden at the Palmetto Club was perfect, streaming through the trees for the wedding party photos while the guests were enjoying cocktail hour.  The reception was decorated in geometric gold center pieces with candles and lots of succulents.  Instead of a cake, they had their favorite flavors of Sprinkles cupcakes with little bowties and diamond rings on them.  The entire bridal party made a fabulous entrance and after dances their maid of honor and best man toasted to how amazing they are as a couple.  This group definitely knows how to party, and while they were, we stole just Cassie and Scott away for just a few minutes by the fountain and twinkle lights in the trees.  Congrats you guys it was the perfect day!!! xoxoxo

{Susan & Mike @ The Florida Aquarium Tampa}

Susan and Mike’s evening wedding at the Florida Aquarium had accents of dark purple and silver.  Susan looked gorgeous in her lace-accented gown with off the shoulder sleeves.  Mike’s son, Mikey, had the rings secured in a combination lock safe as the ring security.  Susan and Mike had a quiet few moments together for their “first look but not look” just before the ceremony.  The vows were some of my favorite moments.  As they said them to each other, both had tears flowing down their cheeks.  After it was official, the penquins, who are always dressed for a wedding walked down the aisle first!  As we were doing bridal party photos we noticed a little red lady bug that looked so real!  Scott, from Apple Blossoms, later told me it is their signature.  It means good luck, and that nothing leaves their workshop without one, so awesome.  Their guests enjoyed cocktails and the aquarium exhibits while the ceremony space was transformed into the reception for dinner and dancing with a backdrop of sharks, turtles, and an eel.  They dark purple accents with black linens and silver chivari chairs was so pretty.  The cookie table had favor bags that said "Love is Sweet & So are Cookies" along with boxes for everyone to take cake with them!  They danced and toasted and had an amazing evening! Congrats Susan & Mike!!! xoxoxo

{Caroline & Greg @ Hollywood Venue Tampa}

Caroline and Greg had the most unique and awesome color palette, lemon yellow and Kelly green! Caroline and her bridesmaids all wore Converse, the girls’ were green and Caroline’s were sparkly silver with tulle laces.  Zoe, one of her bridesmaids, has the sweetest little 1 month old baby girl.  She wore a yellow and white dress that was actually what Zoe came home in from the hospital when she was a baby and it matched perfectly!   Caroline and Greg did their first look in downtown Dunedin because it’s one of their favorite places and just so them. He was just plain in awe of his gorgeous bride when he saw her during their first look. I don't think he stopped smiling from that moment on. Caroline had a really sweet surprise for Greg, she got his Father’s West Point pin from his mom, and had it attached to his boutonniere. We found a great spot where the buildings were actually painted to coordinate with the bridal party color schemeJ Their ceremony was on the beach at Honeymoon Island and it was a beautiful cloudy evening for sunset photos!  They incorporated lots of really fun personal details and things they love, which we always love! Greg wore R2-D2 with a belt buckle that says "Bazinga" from their favorite show "Big Bang Theory". Caroline and Greg are both forensic scientists and their table names were actually the first 13 elements of the periodic table! Their sign in was a custom Jenga for each of their guests to sign each piece. The cake sat on a clear acrylic base that was filled with Skittles, which was actually a game!  Each of their guests could guess the number of skittles and the winner got ALL THE SKITTLES over 14,000 is what we heard! They had life size cut outs of characters from the Big Bang Theory for guests to take photos with and our favorite part…AN ICE CREAM TRUCK!! Revolution Ice Cream was parked out front for all the guests to get a scoop…or three :) We know first hand…it was delicious. Congrats Caroline and Greg it was truly awesome!!!!  xoxox EndFragmentVenue | Hollywood Venue | Florist | Carrollwood Florist | Cake | A Piece of Cake | Hair and Makeup | Femme Okoi | DJ | DJ Jason and Associates | Officiant | Michael DePrisco | Ice Cream Truck | Revolution Ice Cream

{Melissa & Joshua @ The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay}

Melissa & Joshua live in Germany, but flew home for a sweet, intimate wedding with their family at The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay.  Melissa's dad had the biggest smile on his face when he saw his beautiful daughter before they walked down the boardwalk to meet Joshua. Right after the sunset we went up to Armani's on the rooftop to catch the beautiful dusk sky and views of the bay.  Congrats Melissa & Joshua!

{Siera and Eric @ A La Carte Event Pavilion}

Siera wore a beautiful strapless gown with silver sparkly Vans for her and Eric’s gold and navy Great Gatsby styled wedding.   Just before the ceremony, Eric and Siera had the sweetest moment holding hands around a door before walking down the aisle!  As their guests arrived they signed gold Christmas ornaments for Eric and Siera’s first Christmas tree this year, what a fun and unique ideaJ The grand foyer was decorated with gold mercury glass votives and tall glass cylinders filled with floating candles.  Siera walked down the aisle that was sprinkled with daisies to meet Eric under the white canopy.  Eric’s son was the ring bearer and they also included him in the sand ceremony, as they officially became a family of 3!  The reception was draped in white and navy and gold lines.  The centerpieces were white daisies and Siera’s favorite books.  There was a little sign on each table that said “As our gift to you, please take 1 book , As we create our love story, enjoy one already written”.  The finishing touch was their custom monogram on the white dance floor.  It was an epic party, their friends have some pretty awesome moves, and beardsJ  We snuck them out for a few minutes for nighttime photos before their sparkler exit!  Congrats Siera & Eric!! xoxoxo

Kate & Jake

These 2 met while in Alaska playing shuffleboard:-) Jake is in the Coast Guard and Kate is a Pharmacist and they moved to Florida when Jake got stationed here. I LOVE Kate's hair (by Naz from Collective Creations), it was a long braid wrapped in a smaller one. Trees with colorful leaves are pretty rare here I feel like, but there was a gorgeous row of trees with red leave, lots of laughing due to a random onlooker, and beautiful light!!  xoxoxo

Sarah & Kevin

Sarah and Kevin are 2 of the sweetest people you will ever meet!  They were high school sweethearts and after 3 years of being apart found their way back to each other, so meant to be!  Kelly, at Carrollwood Country Club gave us the VIP treatment so we could take advantage of all the beautiful places on the property for photos. The light and joy you can see here just makes me smile!  We can't wait until 11.22.14 for their wedding!!!!

{Nicole & David @ Westin Harbour Island}

Nicole and David are a fun-loving and energetic couple who's love and zest for life can be felt by anyone in their company!  They live in New York City, but decided to have their wedding in warm and sunny Tampa because David grew up here.  David a Nicole's closest friends and family traveled from all over to be part of the festivities!  We did a first look with them before the Ketubah signing, and David was absolutely stunned with how beautiful Nicole looked.  His reaction was the sweetest. The reception was beautiful and luxurious, mirroring the atmosphere of an upscale downtown club. From the white leather lounge chairs, to the crystals hanging from floor to ceiling, the room was gorgeous.  Cory, from Grant Hemond, had everyone on the dance floor the entire evening.  The love this couple has for one another is easy to see in the way they look at each other, David said that "Nicole is the best part of each day for him, his best friend and love."  They had a dream team of wedding "friendors" we got to work with that made everything as beautiful as it looks!  Congrats Nicole and David! xoxoxo

He's home and they wanted to have a big celebrate with their friends and family.  Arik is originally from Indiana, and Jessica is from Georgia. Jessica world emerald green shoes, a sash, and matching earrings and jewelry. Arik was in his dress blues. Before the party got started we got some beautiful shots of them at A La Carte by the fountain and the dock out back with the sunset through the clouds.  The reception decor was white draping with teal, green, white, and hints of peacock feathers.  With a band and a DJ the dance floor was a fun one!  There was cake, tons of happiness, and sparklers!  Congrats Jessica & Arik!!!!  xoxoxo

{Alena & Scott @The Lange Farm}

Burlap, lace & aqua were the accents for Alena and Scott's elegant, vintage Lange Farm Wedding.  The ceremony decor had wooden barrels and a chandelier decorated with florals, that is actually going in their home.  Not the florals, the chandelier:-)  Thankfully the rain held off so we could have their ceremony and pictures outside!  The reception decor was so pretty!  I love the table runners, they were made of burlap with a lace overlay.  Each table was decorated with a tall gold center piece, with white and blush florals, aqua linens, a vintage frame, and a little burlap favor.  Alena's new last name is Nicely, which is so fitting for these 2!  It was an amazing day and we loved capturing every minute!  Congrats Scott & Alena!! xoxox

{Allison & Eric @The Lange Farm}

The theme of Allison and Eric's wedding was "Southern Elegance".  It was a mixture of vintage, rustic, and classic elements.  Allie wore a beautiful gathered gown with a beaded belt.  The girls wore pink knee length chiffon dresses with white and light pink bouquets.  Eric got the guys mason jar mugs with their names engraved on them and argyle socksJ Allie and her father arrived at the ceremony site in front of a beautiful big oak tree in an antique Bentley.  The Garden House was decorated with burlap, lace, mason jars, lanterns as table centerpieces, a typewriter, vintage suitcases and antique cameras as props on tables to capture the timeless feeling of their day.  To add a little “southern” to that elegance it was catered by Hungry Harry’s which is delicious BBQ!  Allie and Eric’s wedding was full of so many beautiful and fun moments ending with a bubble exit.  Congrats Allie and Eric!!! xoxox

Tip: Wedding Day Makeup Tips
Guest Blogger: Michelle Stall from Aquali Bridal

Your goal is to bring out your best features- not to prove how well you apply your makeup. So keep it simple but pretty. Sometimes less is more. If you’re going get your makeup done by a professional makeup artist, be sure to tell him/her what you want from your makeup. If you want something bolder, or some specific color, you should be able to get it. It is after all YOUR day, and you’re the one who gets to decide how your makeup looks. you should however still be open to wearing a slight bit more than normal because it will show up much better in photography.  Be sure your artist is a true makeup Artist . You get what you pay for in the makeup world.  Do your research and find someone you feel comfortable ,someone you think can truly see your vision and bring it to life for you . Don't forget all eyes will be on you and it will be worth every penny in the end .

- Beware of high SPF foundations/skincare.  Some will react to the flash of a camera and pale you out
- Use a primer under your foundation.  A primer will help to smooth out your skin, tone down un-even patches and redness and most importantly, it will make the foundation or makeup you put on last all day.
- Make sure you foundation is blended with the rest of your body. There is nothing worse than a pale face and a tan body ladies!
- If you’re getting any facial treatments, make sure to get them several days before the wedding day.
- Get  your brows plucked and shaped (possibly even dyed) before the wedding day. If you pluck them on your wedding day, your brows may look red, swollen and irritated.
- If you’re going to wear contact lenses on your wedding day, put the lenses on before applying your makeup.
- Try not to stress too much (easier said than done, I know!).  Stress may cause impurities on your skin. If  you have some impurities, do not pick at them as it makes them worse! Also, put a clean pillowcase on every night and drink plenty of water (avoid sugars, excess milk, and carbonated beverages).
-ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS use waterproof mascara so it won’t end up on your cheeks if you happen to shed a tear (or a dozen).
Good Luck ladies and Congratulations From Aquali Bridal :)
