{Bridget & Ricky @ The Hyatt Regency Sarasota}

One of my favorite things about weddings is all the people we get to work with from all different places.  Bridget and Ricky live in the Bronx, and choose destination Hyatt Sarasota.  They actually found it because they were attending another friend's wedding in Sarasota and Bridget works for the Hyatt so it was perfect.  Their wedding style was a little bit of pink with navy and nautical accents.  Bridget looked stunning in her Modern Trousseau gown, they event stitched a custom tag on the inside of it with her wedding date for her something blue.  While she was writing her vows I noticed her bridal phone case and I didn't know it but she got an awesome pic of me taking that pic on instagram:-)  She incorporated such thoughtful and personal details into everything including little thank yous and the perfect bracelets for her bridesmaids and flower girl.  She gave Ricky a custom engraved tie clip from Tiffanys!  Ricky and the guys were in navy suits with pink ties, Ricky's being white.  They were hilarious and so fun! They said their I do's in the garden officiated by their friend also named Bridget.  After they tied the knot (literally they did:-) the breeze and sunlight was perfect for photos after the ceremony.  The reception was set with gold chivaris, navy linens, and white and pink center florals.  They had a fabulously choreographed first dance and totally fun NYC style reception.  We even got to sneak them out for some night photos with on the dock.  Congrats Bridget and Ricky, thanks for having us!!! xoxoxo

{Emily & Mark @ Bakers Ranch}

Emily and Mark have 2 wedding #s.  #lucasgotlucky and #markandnoodlesoup Emily's nickname is noodle because she likes to eat spaghetti noodles with sugar on top:-) The girls arrived in these super cute aqua and lace robes.  Emily's mom, Julie,  helped her get in that gorgeous mermaid, lace gown.  When her bridesmaids saw her, they screamed and cried and laughed all at the same time!  While this was going on the guys were upstairs playing pool and hanging in the groom's lounge.  They did a first look on the love lock bridge and literally they didn't stop smiling from that moment on.  The ceremony was under crystal chandaliers with white and pink florals.  Their dog was of course the ring bearer and wore a little sign that said "I loved her first":-) Emily's mom  shared a few words about how happy she is that Emily and Mark found each other and that she will miss the days of having Emily and her girls over for Mac and Cheese:-)  Their bridal party was so much fun as we used the gorgeous setting for photos of them after the ceremony.  The reception was draped in white with aqua and white linens, lantern, and crystal.  The escort cards had little keys tied to them and custom koozie favors for their guests.  I love the layered white and floral accented cake that of course had the Cake Zone's cupcakes (with the famous raspberry frosting!).  Emily and her maid of honor, Megan, have been friends since elementary school and she shared the sweetest toast to Emily and Mark.  Mark's dad, Kirk,  and best man, Ryan gave their toast together about how lucky Mark is to have found such an amazing girl! It was such a fun party and we are so lucky to have gotten to capture it as well as work with all these amazing people that made it perfect.  Congrats Emily & Mark!!! xoxoxo

{Liz & EG @ Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club}

Where do I even begin with these 2?  Literally, Liz and EG had the most perfect wedding day.  While getting ready I learned that their favorite emojis's are the moon and sheep:-) The girls wore long gold sequined dresses while the guys were in classic black tuxes.  Liz's gown was the perfect mix of simple and elegant with the lace beaded detail on top.  Here sister helped her get in her dress and the few moments of tears they shared with their dad when Liz was totally ready even made me tear up.  The 2 story stairwell was the perfect spot for their first look, the girls were looked over the 2nd floor and the guys were downstairs.  EG was so nervous as he was waiting for Liz to walk down the stairs to see him.  We took the bridal party out to the ivy covered tunnel and of course had to use the golf carts.  Liz walked down the outdoor staircase that led to the lawn overlooking the water for their ceremony.  They had an uninvited guest watching from afar and enjoying the sunshine:-)  You might remember that EG is a UPS man, (we got to do their engagement session with the UPS truck:-) in his vows he promised to deliver Liz's packages first and on time.  They also had a little package at each of their guests seats and the seating chart said "where will you find your package?"?  For their sign in, they had a little card to write marriage advice to put in a vase that they will open up and read on their first anniversary.  The reception was decorated with black chivari chairs and different height vases with each table being labeled a different part of Tampa.  Their bridal party entrance had some pretty fantastic moves including fishing, cheerleading, football (there was a bouquet that didn't make it), and basketball.  Both Liz and EG's parents are some of the most fun people ever, they have clearly set a great example of what marriage looks like for these 2.  EG's dad was his best man.  He had a toast prepared, but he just couldn't get the words out, so, his mom stepped in, put on her cute red glasses and read the words he had written.  I snuck them out during dinner for sunset on the balcony, it was so pretty!  While EG was taking off Liz's garter you might spy a little flower girl peeking out from under the sweetheart table.  They had such a fun party, including grandpa on the center of the dance floor.  I'm going to stop writing so you can start looking but it was so amazing to be there, thank you Liz and EG for entrusting us to capture your wedding story! Love you guys!! xoxoxo

{Christen & Samir @ The Ritz Carlton Sarasota }

Christen and Samir had a gorgeous wedding at the the Ritz Carlton Sarasota.  Their elegant color palette was white, gold, black, and hints of amethyst.  They both gave their bridal party gifts from Tiffany's.  Christen gave the girls pretty infinity necklaces and Samir gave the guys silver pens to write the speech.  I LOVE Christen's sparkly encrusted heels, her look was simple but so beautiful.  Samir wore traditional Indian attire for the ceremony and they both changed into a 2nd outfit during the reception.  There was some rain that moved everything inside, but the sunset was just stunning and these 2 didn't worry about that for a single second.  Their reception details had gorgeous white  florals with black and gold accents.  The cake, it looked like it was literally dipped in gold.  From the minute they entered the joy and fun everyone had was so obvious.  Toasts, dances, and an amazing party! Congrats Christen & Samir thank you for having us capture your story!  xoxox

{Adora & Josh @ Marina Jack's Sarasota}

Adora and Josh had the perfect Florida day for the wedding on Lido beach.  Josh's daughter Jayden got ready with Adora and the girls and was so excited to be a part of their special day.  Adora wore a gorgeous lace accented gown with sliver stilettos and a white rose and orchid bouquet.  Their dapple dachshund, Sunny, was their ring bearer and dressed to the nines in his little puppy sized tuxedo.  Jayden was a part of their unity sand ceremony, and was the keeper of the special box of butterflies that they released during the ceremony to honor Adora's mom who was there with them in spirit.  The sunset and white sand was just so pretty!  The reception was on the waterfront at Marina Jack's with white, orange and purple accents with market lights throughout the room.  The entered the room with purple light up glasses and it was literally a whirlwind of special moments and so much fun with their guests.  You can see some of our favorite moments below including the special dance Josh had for his daughter.  Congrats you guys it was amazing!!! xoxoxo

{Angie & Adam @ The Hyatt Sarasota}

Angie and Adam are from Ohio. Over the years they have vacationed in Sarasota many times so it was the perfect spot to bring their friends and family for their wedding!  Adam gave all the guys copper mugs and they all drank Moscow Mule's as the got ready.  Angie's lace overlay gown was so pretty and the perfect accent was her silver Prada sandals.  Their wedding style was a little bit causal and a little bit chic with the girls in flowy navy dresses and they guys in tan suits and Sperry's.  They said their I Do's on the lawn and then Angie changed into a fun party dress for the reception.  They surprised everyone with a Dirty Dancing inspired first dance and everyone had an amazing time! Congrats Angie & Adam!

{Monica & Trevor @ Lido Beach Resort}

Monica & Trevor planned their destination wedding on the beautiful white sand at the Lido Beach resort.  Monica's daughter, Makenzie, was so excited to be the flower girl and wear her pretty dress and flower crown.  Monica's son, Bryson, walked his mom down the aisle to meet Trevor.  It was such a sweet and emotional moment as they 4 of them poured the sand ceremony together as a family.  The stormy sky turned into a beautiful cloudy sunset.  Monica and Trevor climbed out on the rock wall and it was just so pretty!  Congrats Monica & Trevor!! xoxox

Kristina & Jeff

This is the perfect way to end 2014!  Kristina and Jeff's wedding anniversary will be exactly 1 year from today.  We did their engagement session at Selby Gardens with a little Happy New Year theme.  Kristina's mom got them beautiful Swarovski crystal toasting flutes as a gift, sparkly hats, and lots of laughs made this so much fun!!!  We wish you all an amazing holiday and the best things to come in 2015!!!

Kristina & Clyde Featured on Belle the Magazine

Kristina & Clyde's gorgeous navy and gold wedding at the Ca d'zan on the Ringling Estate is on Belle the Magazine! I love how they described it:
"The bride's to-die-for glimmering Kate Spade shoes that were the talk of all women present, who can blame them... they're fabulous! Speaking of fabulous, the navy + gold color palette was exceptionally stunning on the guest tables as well as the four tiered gold overlay beauty."

{Julie & Neil @Ritz Carlton Sarasota}

Julie and Neil are from the UK and had an intimate wedding with their family on a boat that left from the Ritz Carlton.  They love to vacation in Sarasota so it was the perfect location to get married!  We took a few photos at the Ritz then got on the boat and drove to the famous Ca d'Zan so they could have a beautiful backdrop during the ceremony. After the "I Do's" everyone celebrated with champagne and enjoyed dinner on the water.  Congrats Julie & Neil!!!

{Jennifer & Aj @Hyatt Sarasota}

Jennifer and AJ had a nautical themed mint and coral outdoor wedding.  Jennifer's sister, Amy, was her maid of honor and AJ's brother, James, was his best man.  James grew his hair out for 9 months to get back at AJ for having his long surfer hair at his wedding!  The garden ceremony was draped with coral and white florals and had sayings from 1 Corinthians 13 lining the aisle.  During the ceremony, they had both sets of parents, AJ's sister-in-law, and niece come to the alter for a family circle prayer.  Jennifer and AJ also tied a boating rope in a knot simultaneously during the ceremony.  Jennifer and AJ love boating and fishing when we went to the dock to do bridal portraits on our way back AJ asked if we might do a few pictures on a boat docked there.  We asked the couple that owned to boat and they were very excited to oblige.   The couple said that their 48th anniversary was the next day on Saturday and that it was the boat's maiden voyage:-)  The reception was beautiful decorated with gray chivari chairs, tall white and coral florals and the table numbers were set in rope.  The cake detail even matched the detail in Jennifer's dress!  It was an amazing and beautiful day had by all!  Congrats Jennifer and AJ!!! xoxoxo

{Courtney & Joe @The Oaks at Windsong}

Courtney and Joe have been together for a little over two years.  They met each other in high school but it wasn't until college that they started dating:-)  Joe proposed to Courtney in the Keys at the top a lighthouse overlooking the water.  Courtney and her bridesmaids all had adorable monogrammed robes! They had champagne colored bridesmaid dresses and all wore gold shoes.  Courtney wore a beautiful Victorian lace gown that looked stunning on her She wore her school colors proudly with an FSU garter!  The guys wore cream-colored dress shirts with awesome leather suspenders, the perfect touch to this country Victorian wedding!  Joe wore a tan vest to match.  Their venue, The Oaks at Windsong, is a beautiful property sprawled across acres and acres of grassy fields with tall oak trees.  Courtney's parents kept joking with her that they were going to decorate her whole wedding with balloons, so they had to get just one big one which made for some really fun bridal part pics:-)

The ceremony was in front of a round reflection pond and the guests were seated on the other side looking across the water where Courtney and Joe stood with their bridal party and pastor.  Joe and Courtney tied their lives together with the cord of three strands. This cord represents God, Joe, and Courtney, all braided together.  The reception style was "Victorian Country".  A canopy of stringed was above all the tables.  Beautiful centerpieces with alternating tall and short florals were all around the dance floor.  Each table had combinations of lace, burlap, lanterns, antique keys, and wooden table numbers.  Courtney even went to antique stores and thrift stores before the wedding to get all sorts of different saucers to have the cake served on, which went perfectly with the different patterned china. The buffet was sprawling across the length of the reception.  Guests dined on fish tacos, a mashed potato bar, pulled chicken and pork with pasta. Along with the cake there were cake pops, chocolate chip cookies, fruit tarts, mini cheesecakes, spoons of crème brûlée, and little shot glasses with chocolate mousse. We were able to steal the bride and groom away for some nighttime photos in front of the Joe's family's antique car.  There was lots of dancing and even a dueling FSU/ UF fight song. They departed through a tunnel of all their guests waving ribbons. Congrats Courtney & Joe!!!  xoxoxo

{Andrea & Brian @Edson Mansion - Phillippi Estate, Sarasota}

Andrea and and Brian had the prettiest vintage, southern, pink and gray wedding!  I love the girls different shades of pink dresses and the flower girls wore lace dresses with flower crowns.  Andrea had a broach bouquet that included a broach from her grandmother, mother and mother in law.  Andrea wore super high and fabulous Betsy Johnson shoes.  Brian made all of the wood signs, there was one that said Mr & Mrs, Thanks Y'all and the funniest one was the one the ring bearer had it said "Last Chance to Run".   Her grandfather officiated the ceremony and her mom walked her down the aisle to meet Brian.  Tons of pretty pink florals decorated their ceremony in the round.  The reception was inside the mansion with pink linens, mercury glass candelabras and a really awesome white couch at their sweetheart table.  They had sweet tea vodka lemonade as their signature drink and a cigar roller.  Andrea changed into a short fun party dress and it was literally the most perfect and beautiful evening for them to move the party outside.  After all the fun the headed to Napa for their honeymoon!!  Congrats Andrea and Brian!! xoxoxo

{Kristina & Clyde @Ca d'Zan Mansion - Ringling Museum}

We met Kristina and Clyde at Katie and Ivan's wedding who were referred to us by Lauren and Josh.  It's always fun to see our couples again!!  Clyde and Kristina have been together 5 years. Clyde shared that he proposed to her on Longboat Key so it was fitting for their ceremony to be close by in Sarasota at the Ca d' Zan.  Kristina gave Clyde a pair of amazing shoes and matching belt that the groomsmen "might" have been a little jealous of! ;) They all wore matching striped socks with navy handkerchiefs and ties that were a gift from Clyde.  The girls wore matching shirts and drank champagne while getting ready.  Kristina's shirt had their date and "I Do" on the sleeves, which i thought was a cute touch!  Her Kate Spade shoes were the talk of the morning and all the girls secretly wanted them, shoot I secretly wanted them ;)  The ceremony was held on the front lawn with an aisle that went on for days.  Watching the bridal party walk down was like watching the Royal Wedding!  After the ceremony, guests were invited to tour the mansion and the cocktail hour was on the back terrace.   Beautiful gold lanterns and pink, purple, and green florals adorned each reception table.  Mini succulents were at each setting for guests to take with them.  Their cuisine was setup in stations with fried chicken & waffles, sweet potatoes, and macaroni and vegetables.  They had monogrammed cozies for the craft beers from Cigar City.  The cake had gold floral piping and blue chevron, with a little gator peeking out from underneath!  They had to include a little Gator spirit!  It was beautiful and everyone had an amazing time!!  Congrats Kristina & Clyde we loved every minute!  xoxoxo

Ashley & Marco

Desoto National Memorial is a beautiful location on the water in Bradenton.  Palm trees, walkways and pretty light!  Love this session we did with Ashley and Marco.  There happened to be an older very sweet couple walking on the path and couldn't help but get a shot of them with their arms around each other:-)  5.29.14 at Cross Creek Ranch, we can't wait!
