I could literally write a book about this one but I’m going to try and keep it to the main parts! After I graduated from college I took a job in the north suburbs of Chicago and had a great group of friends and church I attended there. My very first mission trip I went on was to the Philippines and my friend AC was on that trip.

The girls got ready in the 2 story suite right next to the lawn where we did first look and their cocktail hour. Both Jen and Sandy (Danny’s mom’s) pups were right there for getting ready and picture perfect for us!! Those mauve and lilac dresses and florals looked absolutely stunning with the black tuxes and decor at Sand Pearl.
Read MoreKatie & Hunter had the most gorgeous wedding at Sacred Heart Church followed by cocktails and the reception at the Centre Club! I LOVE the colors they chose, the light blue with the different shades of pink and orange flowers were so stunning. Katie had rosary that was the perfect shade of blue to match the girls dresses wrapped around her bouquet and after her mom helped her get totally ready her girls had the best reaction as they saw her as a beautiful bride! One of the awesome things about Centre Club is that the Westshore Grand is just across the atrium and there’s a really beautiful garden right in between where Linda did the guys photos and we did their first look and wedding party photos before heading to Sacred Heart. Their flower girl Alexa was just the absolutely cutest and SO happy to be a part of it all!

For this couple, they were lucky enough that love stuck twice and their wedding was the blend of two beautiful families, into one big modern family! Tom’s daughters, Elise & Elena and Erik, son, and Anna’s sons, Brandon, Hunter, Noah and John were seven of their 50 guests! Family is incredibly important to all of the members of Carrie Wildes Photography and it’s such a treat to be surrounded by our couple’s amazing families too!

They actually met while Dale was a cashier at the dollar store. Joe noticed her and started going there every Sunday to pickup the newspaper and he asked Dale for her number. She said wouldn't give him her number, but said she would take his. After a while she finally said yes to go on a date and now they are married!

This family of incredibly talented individuals came together to celebrate these two special people and served as their bridal party.
Read MoreJuly is pretty sticky hot here in Tampa/St Petersburg. So when we have a wedding that is indoors and has beautiful options for photographs like the Vinoy Renaissance St Petersburg Resort & Golf Club we do a happy dance.
Both of them got ready upstairs at The Vinoy Renaissance. Morgan Ellis and Cat Baxter worked their magic on hair and makeup. Natalie looked stunning as she surprised her dad in her dress followed by a quick first look with Ryan downstairs by the gorgeous fountain. This was pretty much the only time we ventured outside that day. Fortunately there was a ballroom open with stunning light a great air conditioning for family and bridal party portraits. Definitely something to consider when you are choosing your venue for the hot time of the year.

Lynda + Walt have known each other for 30+ years, but re-connected at the rooftop bar of Cambria Madeira Beach Hotel while Lynda was there on a girl’s weekend with her daughter. The venue therefore was the obvious choice for their wedding with her daughter Kyla as her maid of honor.
Read MoreIt was such an honor to be a part of Nancy and Bill’s May wedding at Streamsong Resort, a golf resort 90 minutes southeast of Tampa. It’s hard to believe we have known Nancy for almost 15 years as she is a local wedding planner and officiant that not only have we gotten to work with, but also is a dear friend. She planned the most gorgeous wedding at this super super unique venue. Her original date was 2.20.22 but she actually fell and broke her knee several months before. If you know Nancy, you know she LOVES to dance and her dream was to dance the night away on her wedding night so she and Bill had an intimate wedding (With me too! Stay tuned for a separate post) on 2.20.22, but moved the dream wedding to May so that she could be mobile enough to dance, and boy did she dance the night away!

Ashton’s traditional long-sleeved dress from The Dressing Room was so elegant. The train just looked gorgeous going up the aisle of Sacred Heart which is one of our favorite churches. The balcony in the back is a perfect hideout for one of us to get these aerial views of the ceremony. And those blue shoes!

Kate is from Tampa while Matt is from San Francisco and the pair currently reside there. They decided to incorporate their geographical roots as the main theme in their wedding, a ‘Bay to Bay’ sort of vibe. And of course planning a wedding from across the country is tough so the pair was so glad to have help from Confetti Events to pull off a wonderful event.
