The Tampa Club Wedding | Violet & Geoffrey
There is a funny story about how we met Violet and Geoffrey! As one of the preferred photographers the Tampa Club refers, we were attending an open house for all their couples. Carrie was bringing all her albums and such up and ended up in the same elevator as Violet and Geoffrey. Geoffrey was super sweet and helped her get everything to her spot and when they started talking found out they already had a photographer but had such a great conversation. A month or so later Violet called and said their photographer was moving and they wanted to hire us and we are so lucky to have gotten to photograph their wedding. I LOVE their color combo of ivory, steel blue, and gold that went perfectly with this iconic Tampa venue. Violet and all her girls and her mom and Geoffrey’s mom had so much fun getting ready just next door at the Hilton.
Violet had a super sweet card for Geoffrey and a special gift for her dad after she walked up the grand staircase for him to see her.
Michael DeArruda officiated their ceremony with all of their favorite people watching. The gold chivaris and florals that lined the aisle were perfect. One of our favorite thing about the Tampa Club is that you literally don’t have to step outside for photos because there are so many cool spots right there in the wine room and the staircase with the geometric gold wall and white and gold Chihuly.
The elegant theme and colors continued throughout the reception with gold, crystal accents and that cake by Artistic Whisk was literally covered in a sugar balayage. Geoffrey’s brother was his best man and had just gotten married 4 months earlier so he shared marriage advice of never going to bed angry:-) Violet’s dad toasted to his daughter finding her person and many congratulations to the both of them as they start their new life together as Mr. & Mrs. in San Diego, CA. An amazing day for an amazing couple, thank you for having us be a part of it you guys!! xoxoxo
