We recently had the pleasure of working with the fabulous team from Grow Therapy at their annual conference, planned by Romela Productions at Bonnet Springs Park event center. Getting a professional headshot can feel intimidating, especially if it’s your first time. That’s why I love doing these sessions—seeing people light up when they see their final images and feel confident and beautiful in their new headshot is truly the best part.
Here’s how we set up our Tampa headshots studio activation:
White Backdrop: I love the crisp clean look of a white backdrop, It puts the focus on the personality of the subject and I have the perfect mobile setup that works in any type of space.
Scheduled Time Slots: Attendees signed up for 15-minute sessions ahead of time to avoid long lines.
Walk-Up Availability: Even if someone hadn’t signed up, we made sure there was plenty of time for walk-ups.
Quick, Guided Sessions: I spent 2-5 minutes with each person, guiding them through posing and movement to capture 3-5 great headshot options.
Post-Event Gallery Delivery: After the event, I sent a gallery to all attendees so they could choose their favorite headshot and download it immediately—or even add more if they wanted.
Romela Productions planned time blocks for these headshots during breaks and lunch made which it easy for attendees to walk away with a polished, professional photo for LinkedIn, websites, and their social media. Everyone loved it because it was fast, fun, and stress-free!
The energy and vibe at the conference was incredible, and it was so much fun getting to meet and chat with everyone!
