{Jessica & Marc @ The Renaissance Vinoy}

It such a beautiful day in St. Petersburg for Jessica and Marc’s wedding.  There is always so much hustle and excitement that goes into getting ready but I love the pause that happens when Jessica and Marc stopped to read words written to about how much they mean to each other. It’s almost like time stops in that moment.  The style was formal, but fun and the girls’ coral dresses looked amazing with the black tuxes and coral argyle socks.  Jessica’s gown had the most beautiful lace train that laid out perfectly in a circle.  Before we knew it the stretch hummer was whisking us off to the ceremony at St. Rafael’s.  We had a blast with this group around Vinoy park and then got to steal just Jessica & Marc away for some photos in the tea garden.  Such sweet moments with them and the afternoon light was perfection.  While that was going on their guests were enjoying cocktail hour in the Grand Ballroom foyer, complete with an array of Marc’s favorite whiskey.  The reception was decorated with gold chivaris, chargers, candles, and a gold glittery cake topper.  The tables alternated with tall and short floral centerpieces along with a photo frame of different locations that the couple had vacationed to. Sweet speeches, fun dancing, and crazy photos taken in the photo booth. Congrats Jessica & Marc!!! xoxoxo

{Ashlee & Evan Wedding @ The Renaissance Vinoy}

Ashlee loves all things Betsey Johnson and wore the cutest sparkly ballet flats.  The soles were here something blue and perfect for photographing the rings on:-) Her something old was a Polly Pocket hidden in her garter (I had those as a kid and I don't remember them being so tiny!).  Evan is a welder by trade and can't wear a metal ring while he's working so Ashlee got him this really cool black one made of silicone.  Ashlee looked gorgeous in her lace gown with a black sash the coordinated perfectly with her bridesmaids dresses.  Evan and Ashlee's flowers were red and the rest of the bridal party white which made the hint of red look amazing.  Their tea garden ceremony was just before sunset with the center piece being a chandelier that will be hanging in their home.  Evan was in awe of his beautiful bride as she was escorted down the aisle by her brother.   We had gotten a key from the coordinator just before the ceremony so Miriam could run up to their balcony room and got some amazing overhead shots of the ceremony from a totally different perspective.  Evening at the Vinoy is so pretty and there was even a live guitarist playing while we were doing photos on the front terrace.  The reception was decorated with tall black vases, white florals, candle light, and the cake had an ornate sugary floral design.  When Evan's dad gave his toast he went all around the room telling where his guests were from near and far.  Evan's dance with his mom was so sweet, there was definitely not a dry eye in the room.  Before we knew it, it was time for their last dance and bubble send off down the staircase.  Congrats Ashlee & Evan!!

Juliet & Billy @ The Vinoy

Juliet & Billy met in Tallahassee even they are both from St. Pete. Billy is a pilot and Juliet said she didn't mean to do an airplane theme, but they had the best and most unique personal details!  The new Mr & Mrs Auer to be had the best hashtag for their friends to share photos on Instagram, #Auertime!  Juliet had heels for the ceremony and gray converse with purple "Mrs. Auer" embroidered on them for the reception. The lilac and gray color palette is one of my favorites!  While I was with the girls, Kandice was with the Billy and the boys at their house getting ready. They toasted with shots of fireball in Florida State shot glasses. Billy loves to bike and he decided to go for a spin on his wedding day, why not? Their wedding was the day before Father's day, and Juliet and her dad had the sweetest first look under the canopy of pink bougainvilleas. Then it was time for her to see Billy and as she walked up to him he couldn't wait and turned right around to see his bride:-)  Just as the guests were seated on the esplanade for the ceremony, a yellow bi-plane started circling with a little surprise Billy had planned for everyone!  Once it was official their guests threw their programs which were folded into paper airplanes as the exited. The Grand Ballroom was decked out in gray linens with purple uplighting and alternating tall and petite centerpieces. There was a little hint of sparkle to everything. The table numbers, votives and their entire cake covered in sugary sparkles topped with a custom Mr & Mrs. Auer.  The table numbers were actually made by one of their dear friends, for the head table he made a special wood engraved heart made out of backwards 2's with a little plaque engraved "Juliet and Billy United 2-gether". The reception was a blast, they ate and danced and danced some more!  The perfect ending was that Billy was actually flying them to their honeymoon in St Barts:-) Congrats Juliet and Billy we had so much fun capturing your special day!! xoxoxo
