{Avila Golf and Country Club Wedding | Jan & Mark}

Jan and Mark wanted a fun party with all their favorite people to celebrate their wedding.  They totally nailed it!  Jan got ready with her mom, Marion, her daughter Jessica, and Mark's daughter, KD who were her 2 bridesmaids.  These candid moments during getting ready are some of my favorite.  They danced, drank mimosas and just had a sweet time.  Jan's gown was so perfect! She had showed me a photo before and said she was adding a pearl belt and it was simple but stunning!  That mauve color is so in right now and my favorite color.  Their bouquets had amnesia roses that matched Jessica and KD's dresses perfectly.  Mark and the guys got ready in the lounge before we did a first look with them.  Since it is June here in Florida they choose Avila Golf and Country Club because you literally don't have to go outside at all, not even for photos.  My 2 favorite things about this venue is the beautiful light that comes through the atrium and the 2nd floor where you can shoot down from. It makes for two totally different perspectives of first look, the ceremony, and dancing.  Before the guests arrived, Jan walked down the aisle for Mark to see her as her mom and the girls watched from above.  We got all their bridal and family photos done before the ceremony so they could spend as much time as possible with their guests.  Rev Rick performed a beautiful ceremony and announced them as the official Mr. & Mrs. Budzinski.  Their reception was decor was these beautiful lace linen overlaying purple with silver chivaris and alternating high and low florals.  Jan and Mark did their first dance on the round medallion in the atrium with all their guests watching.  Jan's daughter Jessica and her boyfriend Kyle have been dating for a while so she and Mark had a little surprise presentation of the bouquet and garter for them during the reception.  They had an amazing spread of all different mini desserts and a cigar roller in the lounge outside.  Everyone had such an amazing time!!  I have to give an extra shout out to Laura Wade, from Serendipity Events for creating a flawless event with this team of fabulous professionals below.  Congratulations Jan and Mark and thank you for having us!!!! xoxoox

{Ana & Jason Wedding @ Davis Island Garden Club}

What a beautiful day for Ana & Jason's wedding! The girls drank rose while helping Ana get in that gorgeous gown and red sparkly heels.  Their color palette was red, black, and white and everything down to their black diamond wedding bands and Ana's perfume coordinated.  Ana gave the girls fabulous black necklaces and earrings to match their gowns.  Jason and the boys were in black tuxes with red bow ties and converse.  His tuxedo socks were awesome!  Jason definitely shed a tear as Ana walked down the aisle to meet him.  They shared their super sweet vows on the waterfront at the Davis Island Garden Club and we had the prettiest light at dusk for photos of the 2 of them.  The reception was styled with damask linens and the same exact matching pattern on the cake.  Their guest sign in was a wood and glass frame with everyone signing little wooden hearts to but in it.  They enjoyed every second of the party and then we snuck the out for a few night photos in the gazebo.  Congratulations Ana & Jason you have such a beautiful and fun family and we so enjoyed being a part of it!!! xoxox

{Taisha & Andres @ The Carrollwood Recreation Center}

Taisha and Andres are both on the worship team at Bay Hope Church and it was pretty perfect that they walked down the aisle to say I do in the chapel there.  Taisha and her friends hand made the paper flowers on the wooden arch and the rows were lined with hydrangea.  Their little flower girl and ring bearer stopped a few times while walking down the aisle to make sure we got lots of photos of them, they were adorable!!  You could feel the nerves go away and the joy on Andres face as Taisha started walking down the aisle.  Taisha is a super talented singer and surprised Andres with a little serenade during the ceremony.  There was a tiny bit of rain but the light on the lawn and walkways was so pretty!  Their reception was a romantic, family style setting with rows of wine bottles lit with candles and lace accents.  You might remember Andres' fabulous dance moves from Lauren & Anibal's wedding, here they are again! Their entire day was all about the most important people in their lives being together to celebrate, it was perfect.  Taisha and Andres, we could not be happier to see you guys start your life together as husband and wife!  Congratulations!! xoxoxo

{Stephen & Laura @ The Tampa Club}

I'm in love with the new trend of two piece gowns!  Laura had two different tops, one for the ceremony with lace that was ivory and one for photos at Tampa Club that was more champagne and a little sparkly.  Laura's BFF's Katie and Mark were here Maid of Honor and Man of Honor and literally made sure every detail was perfect the entire day.  Stephen's brother was his Best Man and his sister Lydia was his groomsmaid. We did a first look with Laura's side of the wedding party and their reaction was just priceless at how stunning she looked.  Father Zach at Sacred Heart married them in a gorgeous ceremony.  One of the things he said I thought was an awesome idea, was that on their anniversary they should re-read the readings that were read on this day and remember their wedding vows and how special this day was!  It was a perfectly cloudy day for lots of photos on the steps of the historic Le Meredien right next door.  There was even a little breeze (and help from Katie:-) to sweep up that chapel length veil.  I would call their wedding style "fancy and fun" with everyone in black with burgundy white and greenery in the flowers.  Add that the gold sparkly reception accents, wine cork place cards, and that cake and it's pretty fabulous!  Their wedding day was also one of the bridesmaid's daughter's birthdays so they did a little surprise cake for her. Laura's grandparents won the generation dance, having been married the longest, 60+ years.  When the DJ asked her grandma to share some marriage advice she said "say yes a lot"!!  They were literally the cutest couple ever!  Once the dance floor was open it was packed the entire time.  They had a few little surprises for their guests as well. Stephen loves popcorn so they had a late night snack and an entire spread of mini desserts.  As everyone was leaving there was a little coffee bean favor that said, "All you need is Love and Coffee"!  Laura and Stephen we could not be happier for you and that we got to be there for it all!!! xoxoxox

{Kimber and Nick @ The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay}

Kimber and Nick are from Chicago and chose the Grand Hyatt for their destination wedding because that's where they stayed on their first vacation together.  Their royal blue and gray color palette was so pretty! Especially with the beautiful light in Aramani's.  Their wedding invitation style was a first class plane ticket in blue and gray.  Kimber's jewelry, headband, and heels were all made of crystal that looked gorgeous with her flowy simple gown.  Their little ring bearer and flower girl we so cute and excited to be a part of their wedding.  We did a first look with them on the top floor terrace at Armani's overlooking the bay.  It was the sweetest!  Their ceremony was inside with white and blue draping and tall white florals.  I love all the elegant simplicity they had for the reception as well.  Blue accent runners with chocolate truffle favors and the cake was white with a silver topper.  They met at Kimber's favorite bar in Chicago called Four Shadows and Kimber's sister gave the best toast about how Nick had to be converted into a Hawkeye Fan to seal the deal.  Congrats you guys, thank you for having us there we loved every minute!! xoxoxo

{Laureen & Michael @ Carrollwood Country Club}

The other day someone asked me what I love to photograph most at each wedding.  I do love all the pretty details like the dress and florals, but my absolute favorite thing is all of the authentic moments between people.  I love how beautiful people are, not just on the outside, but truly the inside and what you can't describe in words only by sight.  Laureen and Mike are those people. You can tell by how they look at each other and how their friends and family see them.  Laureen's bridesmaids were all in light pink and her 2 daughters and sister helped her get into that gorgeous gown.  Mike's son, dad, and actually all the guys helped him get ready.  He was so nervous before their first look, I had to make sure he didn't turn around before Laureen was right there!  When he did, it was the best.  Their little flower girl was so cute, but had crocodile tears as she was riding down the aisle in the wagon.  My absolutely favorite part of the day was during the vows.  They had all 4 of their kids come up and each of them make a vow to each other as a family.  I'm pretty sure there wasn't a dry eye there!  They also did the warming of the rings and passed them along the bridal party and family for warm wishes before they put them on.  The reception was draped in white with gorgeous florals.  They had a custom wooden tree for everyone to sign and chocolate dipped bride and groom favors.  Their cake was actually 3 different cakes in pink, silver, and gray with ruffles custom made by a very close friend of theirs.   After their first dance, Laureen danced with her dad and Mike danced with his daughter.  No one stopped dancing until it the minute it was over as Laureen and Mike exited under a tunnel of glow sticks.  Thank you so much for having us be a part of your story it was awesome!  xoxoxo

{Jennifer & Bo @ The Tampa Club}

Jennifer and Bo's wedding was with the view of the city from the 42nd floor at the Tampa Club.  Jen loves everything pink and had different shades of blush and pink throughout all her details.  I especially love those Steve Madden heels and their custom wedding Snap Chat filter:-)  Jen's dad was waiting to see her as we got to the Tampa Club, he gave her a beautiful necklace as a gift.  Bo and all his groomsmen race motocross, and he got them each cufflinks with their racing number on them. Bo's is 419 and his groom's cake was an exact replica of his racing jacket!  Their cake topper was even a gold motocross bike with a bride and groom.  Their ceremony was lined with gold candles, pink flowers, and white draping.  Reverend DeArruda talked about how Jen and Bo's sense of humor, and way they live their lives together really compliments each other.  Once their were the official Mr & Mrs we got to use all the unique places there for photos. As you can see their bridal party is pretty fabulous and so much fun!! That gold texture wall and the wine room are so cool.  The reception had gold, sequins, and candles everywhere!  Their favors were custom engraved cigars and boxes of matches that said "The Perfect Match".  Jen's maid of honor talked about how happy she is that Jen found someone who makes her laugh all the time.  Bo's best man joked about how Bo had told him that he was in trouble because he had found the love of his life.  They danced and danced and danced until it was time to end the evening under of flurry of confetti!  Congrats Jen and Bo everything was truly stunning and we were so honored to be a part of it!!

{Kim & Matt @ The Regent}

Kim & Matt’s crimson and ivory elegant wedding style was gorgeous! Kim wore the most fabulous custom made sparkly Converse sneakers bedazzled with their wedding date and a little bride charm.  In her layered pearl necklace was a single strand of her grandmother’s pearls.  Her flower girls loved twirling and looking at how beautiful Aunt Kim looked.  Their ceremony was at the bottom of the grand staircase behind the Regent.  Matt's nephew, Silas, was their ring bearer and so excited to be in the wedding.  Just before he turned the corner to walk down the aisle, he coyly looked at the crowd and played with his boutonniere, I think he knew he was stealing the show!  Kim looked stunning as she was escorted by her dad, down the staircase to meet Matt at the end of the aisle.  After their vows, they sealed it with a sweet kiss, which Matt jokingly wiped off and Kim proceeded to use her tissue to wipe the red lipstick off his face. Matt loves popcorn (you might remember that from their engagement session) so they of course had a popcorn bar during the cocktail hour.  The reception was draped in white with crimson accents and twinkle lights.  They had mini BBQ sauces at each place setting that said “Love is Spicy” and “Love is Sweet” to go with dinner from their favorite BBQ place, Hungry Harry’s.  Their cake had a sparkly topper surrounded by all different flavors of mini donuts.  The reception was so much fun and before we knew it, it was time for their grand exit!  Congrats Matt & Kim!! xoxoxo

{Brianna & Jaime @ The Florida Aquarium}

Brianna and Jaime got married at the Florida Aquarium in the morning before it opened.  It's got this quiet and peaceful feel to it before and guests are there and it's just us and the sea life.  These 2 are just some of the sweetest people and love each other so much.  Their flower girl had the rings in a huge oyster shell as they got married in front of the sharks, turtle, and rays.  Congrats Brianna and Jaime!!! xoxoxo

{Alicia & Donald @ The Florida Aquarium}

Alecia and Donald are one of the sweetest couples you will ever meet.  Their entire wedding day emanated how much they love each other and it was truly amazing to capture their story.  Some of my favorite moments were with Alecia and her mom while she was getting in her beautiful gown.  Just the way she looked at Alecia with so much love and happiness, I think it gets me even more because I have 2 daughters:-)  Once she was totally ready we opened the door so her bridesmaids could see her in her gorgeous gown.  Donald sent a little gift over that was a surprise diamond tennis bracelet that was the perfect finishing touch.  Their ceremony was in front of the coral reef at the Florida Aquarium.  They had a couple surprises up their sleeve to make the ceremony extra amazing.  Once the processional was over and Donald got to see his bride, Alecia's aunt gave her, her grandmother's handkerchief and they had a bell they practiced ringing for when things aren't easy.  Just before they were announced as the official Mr. & Mrs. Cannon the tank filled with bubbles, which is a brand new thing at the Aquarium and such a dramatic backdrop.  They flipped the reception into an aqua lit setting with white florals and linens with sand dollar place cards and silver chivaris.  Alecia and Donald entered with a white boa and fun glasses and before we knew it they were being sent off with sparklers out front.  Congrats you guys it was flawless and amazing!!! xoxox

{Brooke & T.J. @ The Vault}

Brooke and TJ got ready at the Le Meridian Hotel in Downtown Tampa. It was the perfect location for them since they are both attorneys!  Brooke loves champagne and her wedding theme was the perfect reflection of her personality. The details were gold, sequined and sparkly.  Her mom had set up a champagne "bar" in Brooke's room.  It had glittery champagne bottles, engraved champagne glasses, a ribbon banner, and all the mixers. Even their water bottles for the day had custom labels with their names on them.  Brooke had three boxes of rings that we photographed, all family heirlooms.  Both of Brooke's dresses were stunning.  For the ceremony she wore an ivory gown with a gorgeous sheer detailed back and a long flowey veil. Her bridesmaids wore floor length, gold sequined dresses that I wanted to put on and join the bridal party!  TJ and the guys were in classic black tuxes with white rose boutonnieres.  When Brooke walked down the marble stairs for TJ to see her, he is in awe of how gorgeous she looked.  After a sweet ceremony, officiated by a friend of theirs, I was able to take photos of Brooke and TJ in front of the beautiful iron gates at the church.  Brooke did a wardrobe change and got more comfortable before heading over to the Vault for their reception.  The ballroom was decorated with colors of blush and champagne, and gold linens.  The light and ambiance shining through the tall windows of the Vault was just gorgeous. The photo booth was located in the actual bank Vault of the venue which was so fun for their guests and they had smores bar for everyone to enjoy as well!  The Orlando Dueling Pianos entertained the crowd, and the dance floor was packed from the minute it opened.  Brooke, and some of her friends were FSU cheerleaders.  They hoisted Brooke into a Full as she steadily posed for photos, it was pretty awesome!  We stole the newlyweds away for a few moments for some nighttime shots in front of the Tampa Theatre and then as the night drew to an end, guests lined up in rows in front of the Vault to send the couple off with a bubble exit with bubbles in what else…champagne bottles. Congrats Brooke and TJ!!!! xoxoxo

{Nichole & Michael @ The Marriott Waterside Tampa}

Black, gold & ivory (with a touch of sparkle) was the color palette for Nichole & Michael's wedding day.  They have 3 girls and a boy who were all a big part of the wedding.  While Nichole was getting ready one of the girls snuck a little peek at how gorgeous she looked!  Chloe, their youngest, is just about to start walking and had the cutest little gold shoes that matched Nichole's sparkly gold ones.  Mike loves hunting, and Nichole's gift to him was a custom bowtie made of pheasant feathers.  We did a first look in front of the big windows over looking the water and their family and bridal party watched from above.  Their ceremony was on the back terrace lined with palm trees.  Nichole walked down the grand staircase with her dad and her stepdad  officiated the ceremony.  Their reception was decorated with black and gold and tall white rose florals and glittery gold table numbers.  Their guests each had a monogrammed napkin and a little surprise lottery ticket by their place setting. Hopefully someone won big:-)  Nichole had the sweetest dance with her dad and Mike tried to dance with his 3 girls but Zoe was the only one who wanted to!  Bay Kings Band made it such a fun party! {Vanessa and Blake @ The Palmetto Club}

It was such a gorgeous day for Vanessa & Blake's coral and grey wedding at the Palmetto Club!  Vanessa had a special 4 legged friend there to help her with getting ready:-)  Just before the ceremony Vanessa and Blake toasted around the corner just before walking down the aisle.  The lawn of the Palmetto Club was decorated with white lanterns and beautiful flowers.  Their flower girls held a sign that said "here comes your high school sweetheart" Blake definitely had a tear as he saw Vanessa for the first time:-)  They incorporated a little bit of fishing into their wedding style and tied a fisheman's knot to signify their unity.  Their escort cards were attached to fishing lures with a sign that said "O-fish-ally Hooked". The light in the garden for photos with them and the bridal party was just gorgeous and we had so much fun with them! Their reception was decorated in white and gray with pops of coral in the center pieces.  They had a fantastic donut station with all different flavors and a little cake for them to cut.  Once they entered there was just so many sweet and fun moments, especially as they danced with their parents.  Everyone really just plain had an amazing time!! Congrats Vanessa & Blake!!! xoxo

{Katy & Greg @ Davis Island Garden Club}

We are in love with morning weddings and how creative our couples are with them! Katy & Greg’s wedding is full of amazing details to go along with their coffee and mimosa morning wedding at Davis Island Garden Club!  It was elegant and beautiful, yet laid back and so much fun! Greg and Katy both had very sweet surprise gifts for each other to open, Greg made a scrap book of photos and a giftcard from her favorite store and Katy surprised him with a custom engraved tie clip, mug, book and a macbook! The bridal party got wedding ready at the Marriott Waterside, and we did their first look on the second floor terrace with Katy and Greg just before they got in the limo.  Christi, from Winsor Event Studio did a beautiful job of planning and making every detail of their vision into reality. There was a vintage hutch set up as a coffee station with all different mugs and types of coffee.  Their guests were able to sip on coffee as they made their way to the ceremony. Katy and Greg said their vows in front of the white gazebo and instead of a unity candle, they had a plaque with a little lock that was engraved with their names and wedding date. They placed the lock on the plaque and locked it together, such a different take on the unity idea. It was a gorgeous day for photos and an outdoor reception under the sprawling oak trees.  They had a mimosa and bloody mary bar, yogurt station and donuts as everyone played corn hole and jenga on the lawn. Their favor was different flavors of coffee beans for their guests to put in favor bags that said "Katy & Greg the perfect blend”.  They ate brunch family style and after mingling with friends and family, and having some to die for cupcakes (some had donuts and marshmallows on top!), the newlyweds departed through a tunnel of confetti to a boat for their grand exit.  Congrats Katy & Greg!!! xoxoxo
