{Avila Golf and Country Club Wedding | Jan & Mark}

Jan and Mark wanted a fun party with all their favorite people to celebrate their wedding.  They totally nailed it!  Jan got ready with her mom, Marion, her daughter Jessica, and Mark's daughter, KD who were her 2 bridesmaids.  These candid moments during getting ready are some of my favorite.  They danced, drank mimosas and just had a sweet time.  Jan's gown was so perfect! She had showed me a photo before and said she was adding a pearl belt and it was simple but stunning!  That mauve color is so in right now and my favorite color.  Their bouquets had amnesia roses that matched Jessica and KD's dresses perfectly.  Mark and the guys got ready in the lounge before we did a first look with them.  Since it is June here in Florida they choose Avila Golf and Country Club because you literally don't have to go outside at all, not even for photos.  My 2 favorite things about this venue is the beautiful light that comes through the atrium and the 2nd floor where you can shoot down from. It makes for two totally different perspectives of first look, the ceremony, and dancing.  Before the guests arrived, Jan walked down the aisle for Mark to see her as her mom and the girls watched from above.  We got all their bridal and family photos done before the ceremony so they could spend as much time as possible with their guests.  Rev Rick performed a beautiful ceremony and announced them as the official Mr. & Mrs. Budzinski.  Their reception was decor was these beautiful lace linen overlaying purple with silver chivaris and alternating high and low florals.  Jan and Mark did their first dance on the round medallion in the atrium with all their guests watching.  Jan's daughter Jessica and her boyfriend Kyle have been dating for a while so she and Mark had a little surprise presentation of the bouquet and garter for them during the reception.  They had an amazing spread of all different mini desserts and a cigar roller in the lounge outside.  Everyone had such an amazing time!!  I have to give an extra shout out to Laura Wade, from Serendipity Events for creating a flawless event with this team of fabulous professionals below.  Congratulations Jan and Mark and thank you for having us!!!! xoxoox

{Michelle & Eric @ Tampa Palms Golf and Country Club}

Michelle & Eric decided to have a morning brunch wedding so they could take their guests with them on a cruise to Cuba!  Michelle had 2 different gowns, a princess dress for the ceremony and super cute white party dress for the reception.  I love the jewelry she wore in her hair and the lavender and wine bridesmaids dresses with pink and white bouquets.  Their ceremony was on the patio overlooking the golf course as they exchanged vows and became the official Mr. & Mrs. Stewart!  Their reception was decorated with light pink, white, and greenery.  Michelle and Eric gave each of their bridal party members a huge hug before they made their entrance.  There was a spread of waffles, bacon, omelette station, and pretty much every breakfast food you could imagine.  Eric toasted to all their favorite people being there to celebrate with them on what was a truly beautiful morning!  Congrats Michelle & Eric, hope you had an amazing cruise!  xoxoxo

{Jessica & Benny @ Our Lady of Perpetual Help and The Centre Club}

April 2017 is when I started getting to know Jessica, Benny and their wonderful families and just like that, their wedding was here!  I have to tell you that I've had such a hard time choosing my favorite moments and even writing the words that can describe how amazing it was to be a part of.  Jessica's cousins, Stephanie and Alexis along with all her girls were there to make sure everything was perfect!  When I got there they had even put command hooks on the wall so we could hang all the dresses!!!  Jessica had told me they had confetti for a fun pic with the girls and with their help of her Aunts in turned out perfectly (and without getting in anyone's hair or makeup:-).  The lace gown she chose was absolutely stunning, I don't think she could have looked more gorgeous or happy!  Benny surprised her with diamond earrings and a 2nd diamond wedding band and she surprised him with a pocket watch and socks that said "In case you get cold feet"!!  Benny also wore cigar cufflinks.  Jess also had a surprise gift for her dad (Slim as everyone calls him) after he say his little girl all ready.  The color palette was light mauve with metallics of rose gold, copper, and gold with ivory.  The bouquets even had mauve roses that perfectly matched the girls dresses.  The afternoon light was so pretty coming through the stained glass for their ceremony at OLPH.  One of my favorite photos is of Jess' mom putting her arms around her mom right before the doors opened up for James to walk Jess down the aisle.  After the ceremony we headed to my absolutely favorite spot in Ybor to take photos. There's these brick columns across from where the Don Vicente was and no matter what time of day the light in there is so pretty!  While we were doing photos their guests were enjoying signature drinks and deliciousness in the Centre Club lounge.  The reception was decorated with greenery, florals, and gold everywhere. Each place setting on the head table had the wedding party's name cutout in gold with matching Mr. & Mrs. signs for the backs of Jess and Benny's chairs.  They had a flip flop station that said "a little treat for your dancing feet".  There was a even a rainbow during cocktail hour right outside!  After the entrance and dances we snuck up to the rooftop of the Centre Club which is literally on the roof where you can see the sun set over the bay, pretty fantastic.  DJ Papi definitely made it a party, Jess even got to spin some with him.  With all that dancing everyone needed a little Root Beer Float break and before we knew it, it was time for their grand exit through a tunnel of all their favorite people waving ribbons.  As a thank you to their guests, they had custom cigars and little packs of Krispie Kreme's for everyone.  Jess, Benny, Elaine, James, Benito, Karen, Stephanie, Alexis and everyone we feel like a part of your family and couldn't be happier for #babababennyandthejess.  I can't thank you enough for the honor of photographing it and getting to know you all!!! xoxoxxo

{Melanie & Josh @ The Tampa Club}

The Tampa Club is known as the "Top of Tampa" because it's literally the highest point on the 43rd floor of the Bank of America building and the views are just stunning!  Melanie loves Lula Roe and Disney (Josh actually proposed to her there:-).  Melanie had the perfect leggings for her girls and flower girls.  Melanie's maid of honor gave her a surprise little bride heart charm for hear Pandora bracelet and Josh gave her diamond earrings to complete her look.  Melanie is a 2nd grade teacher and for Josh's gift, she had her students write advice to Josh on how to be a good wife to Miss Easterbrook:-)  The girls were in aqua dresses and guys in black tuxes with aqua ties and socks.  The pink and greenery in the florals looked awesome!  Melanie and Josh held hands around a corner before walking down the aisle to become Mr. and Mrs. Renzoni.   The reception was set with aqua and white textured linens with gold accents.  They had really fun mad libs at each place setting about how they met for everyone to fill in.  If you look closely you can see little tiny Mickey ears on the cake that Melanie's mom added.  Dave, the videographer put the rings in the shape of Mickey ears so we photographed them that way as well.  Melanie always says she loves Josh the "most" so it's engraved on the inside of his ring.  Brittany, Josh's sister, has been Melanie's best friend for over 16 years and while she was giving her toast she said that all along they had been scheming for Josh to marry her so they could officially be sisters.  By the time we knew it, it was time time for their flower petal exit.  Everything was amazing and so pretty, congratulations you guys we loved every minute of it!!  xoxoxo

{Kristin & Curtis @ The Florida Aquarium}

When Kristin first filled out our little get to know you questionnaire she put on there "not doing a bouquet toss, there will be penguins involved, and really excited about the big day" I knew I would love this girl!  Curtis proposed to her at the Clearwater marine aquarium and so the Florida Aquarium was the perfect wedding location for them.  Kristin's 2 sisters were her maids of honor and were in a light mauve dresses that looked amazing with the guys in gray and the white with navy accents.  Curtis had a really unique wedding band that was black woven with red and all the guys had different shark socks on!  Kristin's mom, Carolyn, gave her a really sweet handkerchief and sign for their home with the lyrics to My Wish. Right before we headed over to the Aquarium we had the Jolley Trolley park in the perfect spot to do their first look and it was perfect!  I love when we get to do photos in the wetlands when the sun is still high, the light in there is just so pretty and their adorable little ring bearer and flower girl joined us too.  Kristin's step dad, Jack, officiated their ceremony in the coral reef room with the turtles and sharks as the backdrop.  They had a couple little surprise "late arriving guests" of the penguin kind.  I always love seeing the guests reactions:-)  Just before their kiss the bubble curtain took over and they were officially Mr. and Mrs. Campogni!  Their reception was in the Mosaic Center which is the Aquarium's new space, it's a really clean modern, space with the ceiling being huge nautical looking turbines.  It was draped in white with gray chivaris with white florals and thistles, Kristin's mom Carolyn really put so much work into planning and making their dream reception come true, it looked amazing!  They had several really fun surprises that I was totally looking forward to during the reception.  A surprise for Kristin and Curtis was cake toppers that were custom bobble heads of them along with their 2 dogs Carl and Watson.  After Kristin danced with her dad and Curtis danced with his mom, Kristin started dancing with her step dad, Jack, and then they put on rock lobster sunglasses and pinchers and did the rock lobster dance.  The dance floor was packed and just at the right moment, Jack came out in a full penguin costume!  It was pretty freaking awesome, and entertaining!  Cheers to #findingcampogni congrats Kristin and Curtis we could not be happier for you guys and so honored to be a part of it!! xoxoxo

{Kim & Shane @ The Mahaffey Theater}

Kim and Shane's wedding was one for the books for sure!  Kim has been a fellow event industry friendor for almost 10 years now so it was such an honor to photograph her and Shane's gorgeous wedding and we couldn't be happier for them.  Being a planner herself, there was SO MANY gorgeous details.  The girls had so much fun getting ready and sipping mimosas!  They got ready at the Hilton right across the street that is newly redone and has a really cool modern vibe.  They have huge art walls and furniture vignette's in the lobby perfect for their first look and inside photos.  Their ceremony and reception was on the lawn in-between the Dali and Mahaffey right on the waterfront.  Amanda and her team at MMD Events turned Kim's vision into even more than she could have imagined.  The lawn was transformed into their ceremony with alternating rows of ghost chairs and white chairs with a white draped arch and sparkly chandalier.  Kim's mom walked her down the aisle and she looked stunning and so happy.  I love that Pastor Rich had asked them things they love about each other that he shared in the ceremony.   The reception was set under market lights with gray linens and really unique and modern florals in gray and mirrored containers.  They  had a "Comfort Station" with flip flips and our very favorite detail was the doughnut wall that made their cake look like it was floating in front of sparkly doughnuts!  Kim's sister was her Maid of Honor and her toast was to how much she loves her sister and how happy they all are to have Shane officially becoming a part of their family.  Michael Planas, who is a long time friend of Kim's and works for Grant Hemond rocked the party.  Congrats you guys it was such an honor to be part of!!!

{Ana & Jason Wedding @ Davis Island Garden Club}

What a beautiful day for Ana & Jason's wedding! The girls drank rose while helping Ana get in that gorgeous gown and red sparkly heels.  Their color palette was red, black, and white and everything down to their black diamond wedding bands and Ana's perfume coordinated.  Ana gave the girls fabulous black necklaces and earrings to match their gowns.  Jason and the boys were in black tuxes with red bow ties and converse.  His tuxedo socks were awesome!  Jason definitely shed a tear as Ana walked down the aisle to meet him.  They shared their super sweet vows on the waterfront at the Davis Island Garden Club and we had the prettiest light at dusk for photos of the 2 of them.  The reception was styled with damask linens and the same exact matching pattern on the cake.  Their guest sign in was a wood and glass frame with everyone signing little wooden hearts to but in it.  They enjoyed every second of the party and then we snuck the out for a few night photos in the gazebo.  Congratulations Ana & Jason you have such a beautiful and fun family and we so enjoyed being a part of it!!! xoxox

{Madison & Matthew @ The Tampa Club}

Madison is usually zipping around the Tampa Club making sure all the details of their couple's weddings are going smoothly, but this time it was her turn to be the bride!! It's always so special to photograph our friendors on their best day ever!!  Since these 2 bleed garnet and gold it was pretty fitting for their wintery Florida wedding details and those colors look especially amazing at the Tampa Club.  Madison looked gorgeous in that simple but so elegant gown. Her heels were encrusted with pearls and the guys had ties that coordinated perfectly with the bridesmaids garnet flowy dresses.  The Tampa Club was draped in white with mahogany chivaris and gold with pink and white florals.  That moment when Matt saw Madison walking towards her, uh still gets us every time.  Their wedding hashtag was #downstheaisle!!!!  I LOVE shooting on the grand staircase and the wine room.  The view of the sunset from the top of Tampa is pretty amazing as well. Everything in the reception was accented in gold and garnet with a little bit of sparkle and gold mercury glass.  Let me tell you, this group knows how to party, we had such an amazing time and could not be happier for the brand new Mr. & Mrs. Downs!!!! xoxoxox

{Kara & Brett @ The Marriott Waterside}

Kara and Brett got married on 11.11 at 11:00 am:-)  Their black and gold color palette with pink florals and so many pretty details was pure eye candy for us!  Kara's sparkly Kate Spade heels, matching wristlet, and pearls were the perfect accent to that gorgeous gown.  Kara is known to be the best gift giver, and she gave Brett a custom leather passport cover before the wedding and had an extra special surprise for him after.  Their little flower girl Rosie was so cute as she walked down the long aisle hand in hand with her parents. Their priest from Christ the King pronounced them the official Mr. & Mrs. Olgin at the beautiful Sacred Heart.  It was a gorgeous November day for photos around Tampa.  They had some planned in extra downtime before the cocktail hour and Kara changed into a super cute white sequined Hayley Paige dress.  I didn't even know you could do this, but for Brett's surprise gift, she had a paver on the riverwalk engraved with their names, date, and I Love You Like XO (which was also their first dance song:-).  We took them out to the riverwalk for "more photos" and the funniest part was Kara said something like, "these are some cool pavers" and Brett thought she was just making small talk for the photos so she had to point out theirs that was right at their feet.  The ladies from Event Sisters transformed the Il Terrazzo space into the gorgeous look and feel beginning from the first step into the cocktail hour through the gate topped with florals.  Chef Marie not only designed their cake but a fabulous sweets table.  I love the modern simplicity of it!  There were cake pops, key lime macaroons, cookies, and heart shaped brownies half dipped in chocolate.  Cafe Ala Carte had Espresso and even Pumpkin Spice Latte's (I know because I had one:-).  You know I love wedding hashtags, theirs was #brettgotkaradaway. I'm going to stop talking about it so you can see it for yourself.  Congrats Kara & Brett hope you had a fabulous honeymoon in Hawaii!!!

{Taisha & Andres @ The Carrollwood Recreation Center}

Taisha and Andres are both on the worship team at Bay Hope Church and it was pretty perfect that they walked down the aisle to say I do in the chapel there.  Taisha and her friends hand made the paper flowers on the wooden arch and the rows were lined with hydrangea.  Their little flower girl and ring bearer stopped a few times while walking down the aisle to make sure we got lots of photos of them, they were adorable!!  You could feel the nerves go away and the joy on Andres face as Taisha started walking down the aisle.  Taisha is a super talented singer and surprised Andres with a little serenade during the ceremony.  There was a tiny bit of rain but the light on the lawn and walkways was so pretty!  Their reception was a romantic, family style setting with rows of wine bottles lit with candles and lace accents.  You might remember Andres' fabulous dance moves from Lauren & Anibal's wedding, here they are again! Their entire day was all about the most important people in their lives being together to celebrate, it was perfect.  Taisha and Andres, we could not be happier to see you guys start your life together as husband and wife!  Congratulations!! xoxoxo

{Nicole & Nick @ The Davis Island Garden Club}

Nicole and Nick's wedding was fall fancy in style with a gray of the wedding party with gold, orange, and black pumpkin accents.  Nicole gave her girls a basket of fabulous gifts including a wine glass that said, "if I go missing please put my face on wine bottles so my friends know".  I literally laughed out loud seeing that, so awesome!  Nick gave the guys storm trooper socks and Converse (for after the ceremony) and he wore Darth Vader socks.  They each had a box of such thoughtful gifts for each other.  Nicole's was even decorated to match the fall theme.  Two of Nick's gifts were a framed print with all the important dates in their relationship and a key chain that said "May the Force be with You" and a little note that said "you'll need the force today"!  Before heading to the Garden Club, Nicole's dad met her downstairs to see her as a bride.  Nick loves artistic photography so we got some pretty sweet stuff with him and the guys.  The look on his face when Nicole stared walking down the aisle can't really be put into words.  Those are the tiny seconds in life that you can look back at and it puts you right back in that moment.  After the ceremony the guys changed into their Converse and we had so much fun with this bridal party.  The weather was absolutely perfect for their waterfront reception.  They did their first dance under the market lights.  After the dance floor opened they took a step off the dance floor to just watch and soak it all in and then we used the Tampa skyline at night with just the 2 of them.  Congratulations Nicole and Nick!!  xoxoxo
