Matt and Tracey are getting married at Safety Harbor Resort next March and they love the little downtown area at Safety Harbor. The historic tree in the square is one of those iconic spots and the light and greenery is just so pretty. We had so much fun with these two and can not wait until their wedding next year!
When we arrived, Kate and her bridesmaids were just hanging out in their cute robes sipping champagne and having such a great time. She wore these fabulous Vince Camuto heels with a little ivory and pearl clutch to accent that gorgeous lace gown. The girls got ready while Kate's mom helped her get ready and then we did a first look with them, so happy for their beautiful friend! Then Kate's dad came in and there were happy tears all around. Andrew and the were in cobalt blue suits that were the perfect shade of blue with the girls mauve dresses. The ceremony was on the patio behind Safety Harbor resort with florals and greenery installed in the fountain as well as on the edge of each aisle. Their friends and family came from Montreal, London, Las Vegas, California, and Kate and Andrew actually live in Birmingham, AL so all dear friends and family traveled here to celebrate them becoming Mr. & Mrs. Mullings (#marryingmullings as their wedding hashtag said:-). Everything about their weddings was elegant and sweet. The Four Springs ballroom was decorated with greenery, candles, gold, ivory and a little bit of burgundy. The bridal party made a fantastic entrance, we had to post a couple of the best one which was a pretty fabulous bouquet toss. From the minute they entered until the sparkler exit it was an amazing time had by all including us! I'm going to stop talking so you can start looking. Thank you Kate and Andrew for having us and congratulations!!!

Sofia had the prettiest custom pearl hangars made for her beautiful Spanish lace gown and bridesmaid dresses. Her veil was the same veil her mother wore in her wedding over 30 years ago. After everyone was bridal ready we got Austin all setup to do a first look with Sofia before the ceremony. These two and just the sweetest! While the guests were arriving for the ceremony, there may have been an appearance by the Pope:-) They became the official Mr. & Mrs. Carmack at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church and it was the perfect day for photos at Phillipe Park, right across the street. The ballroom was decorated with a pretty blush hue and had lanterns on each table with "fairy lights" that gave a little whimsical feel to the atmosphere. Sofia has 2 brothers, and her dad gave the sweetest speech about his little girl and how they adore Austin and are so excited to welcome him into the family. The day was full of amazing moments that we were so honored to capture and be a part of! Congrats Sofia & Austin!!! xoxoxo

Karen's gown had flowers down the back of one hip and in the middle of the top flower she pinned a butterfly broach. She and her sister loved playing in her mother's jewelry box when they were little, and when she needed something blue she remembered the butterfly. John's son Robert was his best man. Karen's best friend Kay was her maid of honor. I LOVE the favors, Karen actually made them, mini succulents in little ceramic birds. The decor was perfect spring colors of soft greens and yellows. The centerpieces were pretty flower boxes with tulips and grass. The cake topper was a bride and groom custom made in their exact dress detail and uniform, evan the medals on the grooms uniform were exact! Paper butterfly place cards were on each champaign glass. Both John's and and his son's toast were about how much Karen loved her sports teams and how competitive she is. John's son was thrilled that Karen enjoyed watching sports and that she is the perfect match for his dad. Since it was a morning wedding, we actually did their photos after the reception was over so it was nice to have time to take advantage of the awesome spots in Safety Harbor. Congrats Karen and John!!! xoxox
Red with accents or gold and pink! Summer looked stunning and was so excited to walk down the aisle and say I do to Ben! Her bouquet was wrapped in pearls from her grandmother's veil and she wore a little blue star pin that was also from her. As their guests walked up to the ceremony there was a sign that said "Today Two Families are becoming one so pick a seat not a side" love that! The patio at Safety Harbor had gorgeous bold red florals and the reception also decked out in red and gold with textured red linens. One of the ushers had a pretty fantastic entrance as you will see:-) Ben was so sweet dancing with his mom, I think we caught a tear. Congrats Summer and Ben!!! xoxoxox
Tara and Matt are the most easy going couple I think I have ever worked with! They got married on Sunday during tropical storm Debby while it was monsooning outside! It was almost like they didn’t even notice because they were just so happy to be getting married and nothing else really mattered to them. I actually liked it because since we couldn’t go outside I got to be really creative with the inside of Safety Harbor Resort which has so interesting pieces of arwork, mirrors, huge windows and hallways. One of my favorite things was during the ceremony they did a little different spin on the sand ceremony and used an hourglass with white and purple sand. Tara’s sister is an artist and painted a canvas of a bride and groom penguin for all their guests to sign. Matt’s gift to Tara was a glass Waterford Crystal Flower that was so pretty! Tara and Matt told me some of the dances during the reception they were hoping their guests would do and let me tell you they did! Peanut butter jelly! It was one of the sweetest and most fun days I have had and I so enjoyed it. I hope you guys have an amazing honeymoon in Alaska! xoxoxo
