NACE Holiday Party @ 900 Park Street

The annual Tampa Bay NACE holiday party was an absolute blast this year! 900 Park Street in St. Pete was the host venue and wow, was it gorgeous!!  The theme this year was Havana Nights, and everyone involved make it an amazing event.  From the delicious cuban sliders to the authentic hand rolled cigars, florals designed in cigar boxes, and Salsa dancing instructor you forgot you were in St. Pete.  Everyone knows I love cake, and the Cake Zone made mango and key lime little tipsy cakes with gold on top.  The barrel you see in the middle, that is an actual cake! Also made of layers of Key Lime and Mango.  All of us in the wedding/event industry work so hard to make all our clients events unforgettable it's so nice to enjoy a night out and catch up with everyone.  Well done to all these amazing "friendors".

{Jessica & Ruben @Pepin Hospitality Center}

Jessie loves purple and everything sparkly, Ruben loves the Mets:-)  The family and friends, especially their kids, Kevin, Avery, and Ami are the most important people in their lives.  When Ruben proposed, one of the things he gave Jessie was a little heart with a tiny ring and their names on it.  She added that to the stem on her bouquet.  Jessie actually made her shoes by covering them in purple rhinestones!!  Since the ceremony and reception were at Pepin, the guys got to hang out and play pool while they were waiting.  They had a romantic evening ceremony outside in front of the wall of fountains.  Jessie's 2 sons met her half way down the aisle and escorted to her to meet Ruben.  I love the setting there, especially at night with the fiery fountain, moss laden trees, and tons of interesting spots for photos.  They had a beautiful reception with hints of purple and sparkles.  Jessie danced with each of her sons and with Ruben's dad.  Everyone danced and danced until they couldn't dance anymore.  Congrats Jessie and Ruben we loved every minute of it! xoxox

{Samantha & Ryan @ The Italian Club}

It was SO hard for me to choose which images to post to tell Samantha and Ryan's story because there are just so many things I could say and post:-)  Samantha is not only gorgeously stunning but also so thoughtful.  Her gift to Ryan was a lot of little things she has kept over the years (11 to be exact that they have been together:-) and some fun things for their Italian honeymoon.  Ryan gave Samantha what every girl loves getting, a Tiffany's box with a pearl bracelet that matched her dress perfectly.  The girls got ready in the bridal suite at the Don Vicente.  The style of that inn goes so perfectly with their reception being at the Italian Club.  Samantha's dad had the best reaction when he saw his little girl in her gown:-)  The color palette was lavender, moss green, and champagne complete with guys in bow ties and fun socks.  Ryan's dad was his best man.  I've said it before, but I always love when especially dad's are involved, and you could tell both Ryan and Samantha's parents were so happy for them.  Samantha's cousin Matthew assisted the priest in the ceremony, and since he has known her since she was little, that made it really special.  Along the way we got to stop and some of the best places in Tampa for photos:-)  The Italian Club is 3 levels, cocktail hour on the first floor, a really awesome photo booth on the 2nd floor (that Samantha's dad made!) and reception on the 3rd floor. One of their family traditions is to have a table with all different cookies.  The song she and her dad danced to was one that he actually sang and recorded.  Their guests enjoyed delicious cuisine by Puff n Stuff, a fun party DJ'd by Michael from Grant Hemond, beautiful decor by Botanica, and the day would not have gone off without a hitch without Brooke from r.s.b.p Events.  We loved every minute of it!!!  Congrats Samantha and Ryan!  xoxoxo

{Traci + Bo @The Lange Farm}

One of my favorite things about weddings is those blink of an eye moments that maybe a few people saw or everyone saw but a split second later they are gone.  I feel like I can see those moments and everything else around me doesn't matter just for that specific moment.  Those are what we are always looking for and I LOVE putting all those moments together to tell each story.  Seriously, it's amazing.  I was actually on vacation last week so I had some time to think about how fortunate I am and why I love it so much:-)  That's what I was thinking while I was looking through Traci and Bo's wedding deciding what to show you all here.  It was a gorgeous day at the Lange Farm.  The sunlight coming through the trees was amazing, and right at dust the sky turned pink and orange through the clouds.  Traci and Bo had a super fun crowd, which makes for LOTS of fun moments.  There was a pretty amazing "Wobble" by the bridal party and the colors and decor along with the tasty cusine made for their dream wedding.  Congrats you guys!!!! xoxoxox

{Heather + Eric @ Pepin Center}

Someone I was talking to today said, "wow you must love what you get to do"!  Which, is of course exactly right and so I began thinking about exactly why I do while I was choosing my favs for Heather and Eric's wedding.  After thinking about it, the thing that is so amazing to me is that I have somehow become an artist:-)  The way I see it, each of our clients is entrusting us to capture their once in a lifetime event from our perspective so they can remember that forever.  I love the story of it all.  Take Heather and Eric for instance.  Heather has 4 sisters, coming from a family of all girls myself, I can totally relate to the sisterly dynamics, the craziness and fun that includes. Eric is kind of quiet and reserved when you initially meet him, but get him on the dance floor and craziness ensues!  His mom passed away recently, and his aunt did the mother son dance with him, what an amazing few moments that I could actually feel.  The bridal party, definite personality and love for their friends getting married.  The cake, rings, flowers, dress,  I'll leave the rest for you to see for yourself.  Those are my deep thoughts for the day:-)
