{Kelly & Ryan @ The Postcard Inn}

I knew this was going to be a fun group when I first talked to Kelly and found out they are fellow Ohioans:-)  They wanted a fun, romantic, and whimsical wedding for their favorite people to enjoy with them.  Nailed it!  The girls aqua flowy dresses and the guys in khakis and white linen was perfect for the beach. Ryan wore a single starfish instead of a boutonniere.  I saw a little tear sneak down Ryan's cheek  as he saw Kelly being escorted down the aisle by her parents.  Their guests threw petals as the exited as Mr. & Mrs. Thomas.  Earlier in the day it was super super foggy, but that all cleared out and there was a beautiful sunset.  This bridal party was a blast, they turned up the music on an iPhone and sang so we would have party music down on the beach.  Postcard Inn has so many great spots for photos inside and outside and there's always something different and new.  Their reception was on the lawn, strung with lights, lanterns, and little tags with flip flops for the table numbers. Kelly and Ryan did their first dance under the canopy of trees and the party didn't stop!  We had just as much fun shooting it as everyone was having in the photos.  Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Thomas!!! xoxoxox

{Alyssa & Michael @ The Postcard Inn}

Alyssa's gown was a gorgeous moscato 2 piece gown (seriously so in love with it) accented with Kendra Scott jewelry and beige heels.  Alyssa and Michael are from Cincinnati, and choose Postcard Inn because they wanted a super fun and laid back location for all their favorite people to celebrate with them!  After we arrived at PCI with the girls, Alyssa read a card from Michael and it was one of our favorite moments, she said "he went all Nicholas Sparks on me" lol!!  Their friend Alex officiated their wedding and we had just enough time for the ceremony and some bridal party on the beach before it started raining.  The lobby of PCI is very cool and perfect even if it isn't raining!  Everything coordinated with the pink, moscato, gray, and gold color palette.  Alyssa loves pineapples so you'll see them in white and gold throughout the reception in the tiki hut.  Micheal's cousin was his best man, and said they had always been more like brothers.  He told a story from when they were 8 years old and Michael bribed him with McDonalds chicken nuggets so he would keep a secret from his mom.   When it came time for cake, Michael may have gotten a little smashed in his face, just a little:-) That flower girl she's got some dance moves!  Before we knew it, it was time for sparklers on the beach!  Congrats Alyssa and Michael!! xoxoxxo

{Autumn & Collin @Postcard Inn}

Autumn and Collin are both audiologists and met while working on their doctorates.  They went separate directions for residency, Autumn in Little Rock and Collin in Phoenix. In their 4th year, Autumn randomly decided to visit Collin and they have been inseparable ever since!  I LOVE the details and colors of their wedding.  The girls dresses are from White House Black Market and Autumn got them tan Toms wedges and chunky orange jewelry.  Autumn told me Collin is the more stylish of the two of them as she opened her gifts from him, cute Tory Burch flats and pearl earrings from Tiffanys.  He gets super bonus points for 2 of the best "T" brands:-)  Collin is from Michigan and Autumn got him Shinola watch that is a company founded in Detroit.  The boys wore tan suits, Sperrys with orange laces and bottoms, argyle socks, and orange and blue ties.  Apparently during Collin's bachelor party they met this random guy named Todd, that was giving them horrible advice on marriage so they had bracelets made that said "WWTD" for What Would Todd Do? hilarious.  Autumn walked up to Collin for their first look in the courtyard before the ceremony and Collin had a little bit of "eye sweat" that his brother told me never happens so it was really sweet.  Autumn's brother, Austin, officiated and he had everyone laughing historically when he said "I know we're from Arkansas, but I never thought I would be marrying my sister".  During the cocktail hour while we were doing pictures at sunset, Rachel was 2nd shooting with me and got everyone on the balcony for a surprise group photo.  They had a monogrammed custom corn hole game, lanterns, orange and white straws, koozies, and postcards from their travels on all the tables.  We did a canvas for their guests to sign from their engagement session, I always love how those turn out.  Instead of a cake they did tiny cupcakes and their favorite cookies which are huge chocolate chip and sea salt from Datz's bakery Dough.  Not gonna lie, I was at Datz not too long after and had to get another one, SO yummy!  Makes me happy to see them so happy.  Congrats Autumn and Collin!!! xoxoxo

{Teresa + Dustin @Postcard Inn}

Dustin wore khaki pants, tan vest, and a very cool tan fedora.  The boutienners were made of pearls, burlap and shells.  Teresa was simply stunning in her lace gown and starfish necklace.  Their dog Rocky, who is very special to them was even able to come with and be a part of getting ready and the reception.  He is so cute!  They did a "first touch", not first look:-)  Such a sweet and priceless moment.  They whispered I love you from each side of the "barn doors" where they were separated while holding hands on the side.  It was a sunny cool day on the beach for their ceremony, and when they were doing the unity sand and it was taking a while for the sand to go in the holder.  The pastor joked.."Good things take time and like love and marriage, don't happen over night!"  The reception was on the lawn of the post card inn.  They had a coca cola theme/beach theme.  The tables were adorned with old vintage coke bottles, fish nets, and starfish. They had a "coca cola toast" when the bridal party entered.  All the guests were given old fashioned glass coke bottles to toast the new Mr. and Mrs.  They danced under the trees with beautiful lanterns hanging above.  We were able to slip out for a few moments and take some photos of the couple in the groom's uncles old little hot rod truck, so cool!  As the evening went on, it was one of those nice evenings where it cools off and everyone gathered around the fire pit.  It reminded us of a camp out...everyone sitting around telling stories from the past and just enjoying their time together.  Such a fun and special couple! Congrats Dustin and Teresa!! xoxoxo

{Megan + Matt @Postcard Inn}

"Uncle Matt here comes your girl!" that's the sign Matt and Megan's ring bearer proudly held as he walked down the aisle!  Megan and Matt have a pretty awesome story of how they met.  They were both on college internships at Disney and haven't been apart except in miles, but not anymore!  They live in Ohio now and their guests traveled from all over to including even France I believe to celebrate with them!  Navy, charcoal, and green and white florals decorated the lawn for their ceremony and the ballroom for their reception.  PCI has so many awesome places for photographs, old license plates, beautiful sunsets, lots of trees, and paddle boards.  They had the cutest green and navy stationary and the most amazing cake table.  The groom's cake had all their favorites sports teams rolled into one:-)  Matt's dad gave a hilarious toast, you definitely had to be there!  Their entire day was so fun and laid back and we captured so many wonderful moments.  Congrats Megan and Matt!! xoxoxox

{Caroline + Mike @Postcard Inn}

It was a beautiful sunny Florida day. Caroline wore the most beautiful two toned gown! It had an elegant twist tie at the bodice.  Mike wore a J Crew suit with Sperry boat shoes. When we asked them how they met the bride blushes and said "in a pub" "how romantic"! Then laughed! But you would have thought they were high school sweethearts with the beautiful bond and love they share. While getting ready Mikw showed us the way he proposed...He and Caroline love Taco Bell, and on a trip to FL he had a custom hot sauce packet made with "will you marry me" on it! So funny and creative!  The ceremony was on the lawn at the Postcard Inn. The guests had cute little aqua fans at each seat to cool themselves off with. The groom smiled in awe as his beautiful bride to be was escorted down the isle. There was a moment of "oh no" then laughter when the ring bearer dropped the rings when handing them to Mike.  The reception was under the canopy of trees and lanterns, also on the lawn. Tables were adorned with candy vases and bouquets of smiley face lollipops for the kids tables and the rest of the tables had beautiful clusters of roses. Mason jars serve as water glasses and starfish place card holders were at each seat. The perfect setting for an outdoor beach wedding.  The best man, brother of the groom, wrote his best man speech on the back of a paper plate:-)  Mike surprised Caroline with a gift that was a framed picture of their 2 dogs all dressed up since they couldn't be there.  Caroline changed into a stylish "mini dress" so she could get her groove on the dance floor and the groom changed into shorts!  Everyone flocked to the dance floor when the brides "song" came on..."Sweet Caroline".  It doesn't get any better than that! Congrats you 2!! xoxoxo

{Gerrin + Chris @Postcard Inn}

Gerrin and Chris had a sweet intimate destination wedding at the fabulous Postcard Inn.  May isn't really rainy season yet but sometimes there is no getting around the weather.  Fortunately, Postcard Inn has a great backup option for the ceremony if it's raining which it happened to be for Gerrin and Chris' wedding.  The colorful bookshelves and lounge furniture makes for a great backdrop.  Simple white florals with hints of orange and butterflies!  Congrats Chris and Gerrin! xoxox

{Melody + Justin @Postcard Inn}

You can't help but smile seeing Melody and Justin's sweet and romantic wedding at the Postcard Inn.  She went for a vintage glam look and actually had her mother's dress re-designed so she could wear it.  Part of her decor was pictures of her parents and grandparent's weddings so you can actually see what her mom's original dress looked like:-)  They did the sand ceremony, but a really unique take on it I thought.  They poured the sand into a frame that had their picture in it, such a cool thing to keep and look back on.  Their reception was under the sky and lantern lit trees as it should be.  Congrats Melody and Justin!!!! xoxoxo

{Debbie + David}

Vintage, teal, Volkswagon Beetle, Postcard Inn.  The perfect combination for David and Debbie's wedding.  Yes, that awesome teal car is theirs and became the theme of their wedding.  Even David's cuff links were teal beetles!  Their grandchildren were all a part of the wedding party and arrived on the beach in the VW with David.  During the ceremony one of the sweetest moments was when one of the little girls wanted to share her candy with Debbie, so cute!  Their happened to be a rogue parasailer to congratulate them as well:-)

{Jennifer + Sam}

Jenn and Sam tied the knot at the Postcard Inn.  I've know Jenn since like 5th grade and we both happened to end up in Tampa.  The Postcard Inn is a really fun boutique surfer hotel with lots of great colors and backdrops.  The sweetest moments were during the ceremony when Jenn and Sam gave her daughter a necklace and they all really became a family together.  The reception was bbq style with lanterns in the trees and an entire roast pig!  It does freak me out a little bit but the last picture is hilarious! Congrats Jenn and Sam!!
