{Lisa & Tushar @ The Renaissance Vinoy}

Here’s part 2 of Lisa and Tushar’s wedding day!  Yesterday I posted some sneaks of their beautiful Indian Wedding CeremonyAs soon as the first ceremony was over we did a few family photos and then it was time for a total dress, hair and makup change!  I LOVE Lisa’s gown, it was light blush with lace detail and cap sleeves and a layered tulle skirt.  Her bridesmaids and the Michele Renee team got her ready for the next ceremony!  Tushar changed into a black suit with a silver bowtie and he even had a diagram to fold his pocket square! We need a copy of thatJ The flower girls and ring bearers decided to take a lap around the fountain before actually making their way down the aisle it was so cute! Lisa’s room overlooked the tea garden and she gave us a key so we could get some gorgeous overhead views of both ceremonies.  They said the vows the wrote to each other and put a letter to each other in a wine box for their first anniversary.  Their ceremony was at sunset, and the twinkle lights in Straub park were waiting for us! The reception décor was simple and elegant with pink and blush sequined accents.  Their favor was a little elephant tea light which signifies good luck.  The reception started off in true Bollywood fashion followed by toasts, including a group toast from all of Tushar’s groomsmen. Later in the evening they had a tower of elephant shaped cake pops and donut hole station.  Lisa and Tushar, congratulations again we loved every minute!! xoxoxo

Best Fireworks Surprise Ever!

Normally I'll post one of our favorite moments right after the wedding, but, last night, Darren's surprise to Lyani is worthy of it's own blog posting!  A few days ago Darren emailed me and said Lyani LOVES fireworks (he in fact said she's like an 8 year old when she sees them:-) and he wanted to surprise her during the reception. So, we planned to "take them outside for some photos at night" and then the fireworks would start.  It was definitely my favorite moment to capture yesterday! Lyani was SO beyond surprised and just threw her hands up to enjoy it. Darren even stepped away from her for a minute so everyone could just watch her joy and excitement. Just when you thought it was over, the grand finale amazed everyone. Darren definitely wins the best wedding day surprise ever!
