{Sara & Anthony @ Hilton Clearwater Beach}

Sara and Anthony live and work on Clearwater Beach so it was the perfect place for their aqua, seaside wedding!  Anthony had his the sleeves of his groomsmen's shirts monogrammed and fish cuff links!  Sara had silver starfish bracelets and seahorse necklaces for her girls and her bracelet was a coordinating aqua on.  Sara's son Jericho, (Coco for short) was the ring bearer just the sweetest. Sara got her beautiful gown on at the church and after she was totally ready Coco came in to see her and gave her a big hug right before she and Anthony held hands around the doorframe!  Anthony's great grandmother had a sweet sign on the back of her wheelchair! I'm usually at the front and as Sara entered the church with her dad I heard Anthony say "WOW" as he saw his bride for the first time.  The love he has for Sara and her son is literally contagious and so sweet.  Anthony's family owns the Surfside Taphouse that is right across from the Hilton so we made a stop there to say hi to everyone and for a toast!  The reception was decorated in simple beach chic style with white chivari's, and aqua details and uplighting.  Each table was named after an ocean animal with little beach chairs and glass accents.  Their sweets table was pretty fantastic with a huge cupcake tower and all kinds of sweet treat!  The cake topper was a little mini Anthony with a storm trooper helmet and Sara with Mickey Mouse ears. The finishing touch was a custom sand sculpture that Anthony's parents surprised them with!  Anthony and his mom started out with a traditional mother son dance, but broke into a mash up of dance moves!  One of my favorite moments was when Sara picked up Jericho and danced with her little boy, there was definitely not a dry eye in the room including ours!  Their wedding was so full of love and fun from all their friends and family and we so enjoyed it!  The last surprise was that Anthony didn't tell Sara where they were going on their honeymoon, just to pack for a tropical climate. Just before we left he told me they were going to the gorgeous Turks & Caicos!  Congrats Sara & Anthony it was truly an honor and so much fun! xoxo

Amie & Ryan

Amie and Ryan joke that they are living the real 5 year engagement! They have had plenty of time to plan and dream about their big day and it's going to be a gorgeous and fabulous wedding!  March 7th, 2015, is their big day.  We did their engagement session in Hyde Park Village and had fun with sidewalk chalk and even ventured into Timpanos for a glass of wine and a quick toast.  They actually both worked there years ago.  To end the evening we headed to Bayshore for some sunset pictures, sparklers, and even...FIREWORKS!!  Amie had said they wanted to do some photos with sparklers, but go big or go home right?  Ryan brought some mortars with them and we gave all of South Tampa a show!

Melissa & Michael

Melissa and Michael are from Maryland and drove down to Tampa for their engagement session. We had fun exploring Lettuce Lake Park and picking different spots for their photos!  It was HOT but so beautiful!  They will be getting married in August at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort. They have been together almost 5 years. Melissa loves her Panorda bracelet and her puppy:-)  Michael surprised her on Mother's Day with an engagement ring charm tied around her puppy's collar. She thought that was her gift until she turned around to see Michael on one knee with the real gift! He asked her if she liked this one better!  It was just a "tad" bigger than the charm version :-)

{Jessica & Jason @ Andrews Memorial Chapel and Sage}

Jessica and Jason had a sweet intimate ceremony at the St. Andrews Memorial Chapel in Dunedin. Jessica wore a beautiful lace gown and her something blue was a lace garter with a tiny blue ribbon on it.  Her something borrowed was a bracelet from her mom. Jasons two sons were the ring bearers. They exited to bubbles and some of their friends surprised them by filling their car with balloons.  They shared their first dance under the twinkle lights at the Sage and celebrated with everyone!!  Congrats Jessica & Jason!!! xoxoxo

{Mary & Dan @Hilton Clearwater Beach}

Mary and Dan, along with all their guests traveled from 13 different states and a total of 97.793 miles!!  They had a map with locations where everyone came from!  The locket Mary wore was the one her father gave her mother on their wedding day 12.27.74!  The beach was decorated with a burlap runner, seashells and pink rose petals.  Dan's sister officiated the ceremony and a HUGE storm rolled in at the moment they said "i do".  They sealed it with a kiss the flood gates opened!!!  Their theme was travel and at the entrance of the ballroom was a mailbox with postcards from all different locations.  The guests were to find one from where they are from and write a message and put it the mailbox.  Such a cute idea instead of a guestbook!  Their place cards were custom printed boarding passes with each guests' name and table.  Each table was named after airport codes as well.  I love how they tied in the travel theme in really unique ways.  After the rain let up we took them outside for some sunset photos and the sky was a pretty light purple.  Phase 5 made it an amazing party!!  Congrats Mary and Dan! xoxox

{Lauren & Brett @Hyatt Clearwater Beach}

Lauren wore her mothers garter and her sisters veil.  She wore beautiful bright blue Badgley Mischka heels. Her bridesmaids made her sign "soon to be Mrs. Briggs" and one of her friends gave her the prettiest jewelry stand!  The girls all picked their style of soft gray gowns and Lauren looked absolutely stunning!  One of my favorite moments is right after her dad saw her, it's the sweetest!  They had a beautiful ceremony at Chapel by the Sea.  Brett's nephew rand down the aisle to meet Uncle Brett!  The Hyatt was decorated with gray textured linens, white and peach florals with lanterns.  Since there cocktail hour was a little earlier, we took them out for sunset and it was the most gorgeous light you have ever seen!  At the end of the night Brett, his dad, and his Fraternity brothers serenaded Lauren with a special song:-)  So many amazing moments!!  Congrats Lauren and Brett!!! xoxoxo

{Kari & Trip @Rennaisance Vinoy Hotel}

Kari and Trip met in Bahrain while both serving in the Navy.  They are stationed in Annapolis, but Kari grew up in St Pete so their wedding was a destination homecoming celebration with all their friends and family!  Kari got her wedding dress from Brides Across America, which is a really awesome organization that helps our service women with their wedding gowns.  Trip’s gift to Kari was a beautiful pearl necklace and her gift to him was a GoPro for their honeymoon that is in Brazil!  Travel has been a big part of their relationship and something they love so the along with being an elegant white, black, and green color palette, they added in travel details.  There was globe as a sign in for their guests, and locations they had been on each table.  There were lots of surprises:-)  Kari gave her dad a surprise gift to change into at the reception.  It was a vest and tie in Florida Gator colors.  She also surprised her Dad when they had their first dance with half way through switching it to Twist and Shout.   One of their guests surprised them with a cake that looks exactly like Trip’s yellow lab Barney! The escort cards were placed on ornaments that were especially made for each guest.  They had the amazing time with all their friends and family it was the perfect day!!!  Congrats Kari and Trip!!! xoxox

{Robin & Frank @Hilton Clearwater Beach}

Robin and Frank are from New York, and had a beautiful destination wedding on Clearwater beach.  Robin's 2 nephews were the ring bearers and they were the sweetest boys. They were waiting outside her door to say hello before we got the day started.  Robin and Frank wanted to spend as much time with their guests as possible so we did a first look with them and all their bridal party photos before the ceremony.  Aqua and coral were the accent colors for the florals and decor on the sandpiper deck.  Everyone enjoyed the warm sunny florida weather, especially the spectacular sunset for the backdrop of their reception!  Congrats Robin and Frank!!!!  xoxox

Sandra and David are both from Jamaica and have known each other since high school!  They had friends and family travel from all over Canada, U.S. and Jamaica to come witness this beautiful day!  A very good friend and best man MC'd the entire evening as well as gave a hilarious yet meaningful toast. Family members and a surprise guest on the phone from Jamaica give a toast as well.  A family friend of theirs also sang "At Last" for them, it was beautiful!! Congrats Sandra & David!!! xoxox

{Julie & Neil @Ritz Carlton Sarasota}

Julie and Neil are from the UK and had an intimate wedding with their family on a boat that left from the Ritz Carlton.  They love to vacation in Sarasota so it was the perfect location to get married!  We took a few photos at the Ritz then got on the boat and drove to the famous Ca d'Zan so they could have a beautiful backdrop during the ceremony. After the "I Do's" everyone celebrated with champagne and enjoyed dinner on the water.  Congrats Julie & Neil!!!

{Courtney & Joe @The Oaks at Windsong}

Courtney and Joe have been together for a little over two years.  They met each other in high school but it wasn't until college that they started dating:-)  Joe proposed to Courtney in the Keys at the top a lighthouse overlooking the water.  Courtney and her bridesmaids all had adorable monogrammed robes! They had champagne colored bridesmaid dresses and all wore gold shoes.  Courtney wore a beautiful Victorian lace gown that looked stunning on her She wore her school colors proudly with an FSU garter!  The guys wore cream-colored dress shirts with awesome leather suspenders, the perfect touch to this country Victorian wedding!  Joe wore a tan vest to match.  Their venue, The Oaks at Windsong, is a beautiful property sprawled across acres and acres of grassy fields with tall oak trees.  Courtney's parents kept joking with her that they were going to decorate her whole wedding with balloons, so they had to get just one big one which made for some really fun bridal part pics:-)

The ceremony was in front of a round reflection pond and the guests were seated on the other side looking across the water where Courtney and Joe stood with their bridal party and pastor.  Joe and Courtney tied their lives together with the cord of three strands. This cord represents God, Joe, and Courtney, all braided together.  The reception style was "Victorian Country".  A canopy of stringed was above all the tables.  Beautiful centerpieces with alternating tall and short florals were all around the dance floor.  Each table had combinations of lace, burlap, lanterns, antique keys, and wooden table numbers.  Courtney even went to antique stores and thrift stores before the wedding to get all sorts of different saucers to have the cake served on, which went perfectly with the different patterned china. The buffet was sprawling across the length of the reception.  Guests dined on fish tacos, a mashed potato bar, pulled chicken and pork with pasta. Along with the cake there were cake pops, chocolate chip cookies, fruit tarts, mini cheesecakes, spoons of crème brûlée, and little shot glasses with chocolate mousse. We were able to steal the bride and groom away for some nighttime photos in front of the Joe's family's antique car.  There was lots of dancing and even a dueling FSU/ UF fight song. They departed through a tunnel of all their guests waving ribbons. Congrats Courtney & Joe!!!  xoxoxo

{Abbie & Chuck @Sheraton Sand Key}

Abbie and Chuck are from Michigan and even though the beach was literally flooded and their ceremony had to be inside, their wedding was beautiful and amazing!   Abbie and her sisters made all of her details!  They made the bouquets, boutineres, a card box, fans and the center pieces for the tables.  Abbie and Chuck chose to get married at the Sheraton because that is the first place they went on vacation together!  Chuck has two children and they did a sand ceremony to include them in their ceremony as well.  The decor was aqua with some gray and burlap accents.  Luckily the rain went away in time for some beautiful bridal party and sunset photos on the beach!

{Andrea & Brian @Edson Mansion - Phillippi Estate, Sarasota}

Andrea and and Brian had the prettiest vintage, southern, pink and gray wedding!  I love the girls different shades of pink dresses and the flower girls wore lace dresses with flower crowns.  Andrea had a broach bouquet that included a broach from her grandmother, mother and mother in law.  Andrea wore super high and fabulous Betsy Johnson shoes.  Brian made all of the wood signs, there was one that said Mr & Mrs, Thanks Y'all and the funniest one was the one the ring bearer had it said "Last Chance to Run".   Her grandfather officiated the ceremony and her mom walked her down the aisle to meet Brian.  Tons of pretty pink florals decorated their ceremony in the round.  The reception was inside the mansion with pink linens, mercury glass candelabras and a really awesome white couch at their sweetheart table.  They had sweet tea vodka lemonade as their signature drink and a cigar roller.  Andrea changed into a short fun party dress and it was literally the most perfect and beautiful evening for them to move the party outside.  After all the fun the headed to Napa for their honeymoon!!  Congrats Andrea and Brian!! xoxoxo
