This is one of my favorite engagement sessions ever:-) No one even on Pinterest has done it before. When I met Liz, she told me that EG is a UPS man and we started scheming about doing some of their engagement photos with him in uniform and a UPS truck. EG was totally down, and we started their session at UPS and got creative with video light and off camera flash since it was evening time. The also love to hang out in Ybor so quick change and some of the pretty night scene there as well. I can't wait for the wedding 4.8.17, there might even be some more hints of #whatcanbrowndoforyou. xoxoxo
Bryan proposed to Denise while decorating their Christmas tree. They have tons of ornaments and after putting the final one on the tree, Bryan said "you forgot one". She thought to herself how in the world?! Bryan got out the final "ornament" which was her engagement right on string. SO sweet!!! We did their engagement session in Ybor city. I love wandering the the streets there, the beautiful light and fun places to shoot are different every time. Carmine's was gracious enough to allow us to shoot at their bar inside:-)
Lauren and Zach were totally up for something different and fun for their engagement session and I think we nailed it. I had been dying to do a session in Coppertail Brewing Company because the decor and artwork is just so awesome! Plus who doesn't want to drink craft beer during their engagement session?:-) Lauren and Zach I had so much fun with you guys and can't wait until your wedding!! Thank you Jessica, from Coppertail for the awesome location!! xoxo
Haley & Jordan are from Texas and they met summer of 2008 while working at a camp for kids. Haley joined Jordan at Texas A&M where he got his masters in Sports Management and she got her bachelors of science. Their relationship has spanned the miles over the past 3 years. Jordan moved to Tampa to work for the Bucs, and after finishing her boards for physical therapy, Haley is moving here this month and they are getting married 7.25.15! They are just the sweetest, fun loving couple, up for anything. I thought Ybor would be a great welcome to Tampa engagement session:-)
Billie & Andrew are high school sweet hearts and we got to spend some time with them and their dog Rocky in Ybor for the engagement session! Here's some of our favs on the awesome brick alleyways and shadowy stairwells. Love!
This year is Nicole & Jackie's 20th wedding anniversary and they are celebrating with a vow renewal and fun party for their friends and family to celebrate with them! These 2 are so much fun and it's so awesome to see them celebrate 20 years of marriage!!! We are looking forward to their vow renewal next month!!!
Ybor is definitely Jennifer and Fazial's stomping ground. They even knew quite a few people just walking around. Ella and Gia their Yorkie and Chihuahua joined us as well. They have been together for 6.5 years and met at the Ybor Saturday Market. They were trying to re-create their first date and Faizal got up on the stage like he was going to sing Karaoke and called Jennifer up and proposed instead!
Julie, Matt & I were wandering around Ybor for their engagement session and you never know what you will find or who you will meet:-) There is a new mural on 7th and when you get in front of it there is actually a door that happened to be open. Of course we had to see what was inside. When you walk in, it's an open brick space with no roof and picture frames on the walls. The owner is actually Jill Scott who owns Hoffman Porges Gallery right next door and she was so nice to let us be there, such a unique space. We were a little disappointed to find that the trolley's are now wrapped in Budweiser!!!!!! The other day I was down there again though and saw not all of them are thank God! We are so excited for Julie and Matt's wedding next March!
There is a green wall in Ybor they keep changing and now it says "Pure Bliss"! I think they must know there are lots of photo shoots and did it on purpose! Richelle and Josh's session started close to dusk with the pretty evening light and then ended at King Corona and there even happened to be a saxophone player who didn't mind being a part of our shoot:-)
So pretty! Ashley and David are both from Tampa, and it doesn't get any more home town then the brick streets and Don Vicente in Ybor. The light as the sun was going down was aboslutely gorgeous. We are always finding something new down there. I love Ashley's bold pink shirt and aqua (or mint green it could go either way:-) shoes. We are so looking forward to their wedding in June! xoxox
It doesn't get anymore "Tampa" then the wine cellar at the Columbia in Ybor:-) Here's some of our super sweet favs from our session with Anna and Roy!
Karina and VJ are such a sweet couple and so excited to get married October 20th!! We can't wait to capture their wedding story!! They wanted a romantic and elegant location for their engagement session and inside the Columbia in Ybor was the perfect place with the wine cellar amd all the archways and tile. Here's a few of our favs!! xoxoxo
Lindsey and Jayson are from Kentucky, and so we did their engagement session both up north in Cincinnati and also in Ybor. They are having their destination wedding at the Don Cesar, here in Florida so it added a little bit of home to their wedding too:-)
I love how Linda and Troy's engagement album turned out so I had to share the design and a nice picture Linda sent to me of it on their entry way table:-) You can flip through the pages below, it has a photo spread cover and thick art pages!
We had such a fun time with working with Linda and Troy! This session is just so them, urban, cigars and casual with a little bit of flare. I love the saying that was written on the wall randomly, you never know what you are going to find in Ybor:-) SO excited for their wedding this fall!! xoxoxo
Amanda and Shreve met at Stumps Supper Club in Channelside so that was the perfect location to start off their engagement session! I love Amanda's fun sequined shirt, it says "Ready for Love". We had a blast just capturing their fun personalities around Tampa!
Shireen and Evan are getting married this January! They live in South Florida but I got to spend a little time with them for their e-session right after Thanksgiving. Their wedding will be our first official wedding of 2011! I can't believe it's almost here!
David and Melissa are getting married over New Year's in St. Lucia, I wish I was going:-) I'll be freezing in Colorado Springs for a wedding though so it's all good! We didn't notice until after the session, but the graffiti behind us said "Life free or die trying" which I think really was the perfect touch! Usually I end up having to edit out inappropriate language in graffiti so that was a nice surprise. Such a sweet and genuine people, it was so much fun working with them!
