{Ashley & Abdu @A La Carte Event Pavilion}

Ashley seriously looked like a bride out of Vogue magazine.  She had 2 wedding gowns, a GORGEOUS lace gown with a long train for the ceremony, and a simple sweet organza gown from the Anthropology Bridal Collection for the reception.  It was a beautiful vintage inspired wedding with ivory, champagne, and blush as the color palette.  Abdu's ring was made of dinosaur bone and meteorite, definitely unique!  His dad was his best man and they wore classic black tuxes.  Ashley had tears in her eyes as she started to walk down the long aisle in the grand hall.  As I turned to take a picture of Abdu's reaction I heard a little gasp as he saw how gorgeous she looked walking towards him.  After the ceremony, everyone was congratulating them and her grandmother and grandfather gave her sweet hugs as Ashley was still tearing up:-)

The tables were decorated with tall florals, crystals, and little vintage wooden birds for the table numbers.  They had signature latte's and gelato for their guests to enjoy and their favor was a white chocolate covered spoon which I think you could use in either of those treats!  During the reception we went out back on the dock as the sunset and it was a beautiful sky with a very blue hue as the sunset.  Ashley surprised Abdu with a big chocolate groom's cake, they danced, and after a perfect evening exited with sparklers!  Congrats Ashley and Abdu!!! xoxoxo

Fete De Fleur Styled Shoot

One of the best things about what we do is if we want to do something really fun and totally creative we can!  We partnered up with Linda, from Linda Marie Weddings and Events, and Jana from Events in Bloom and they really came up with the theme and concept and it turned out beautifully!  Besides the photography, really my only contribution was the dogs:-)  Linda explains it much better then me so you can see the detail below.  Styled shoots are a lot of time and works so we are really purposeful in making sure to get them published so it's a win win for everyone!  This one is featured on Weddingwire today as well!!

"The styled shoot's name is "Fete Des Fleurs" (meaning Feast of Flowers in French).  The original inspiration was from a swatch of striped fabric which was used for the napkins, the ties in the groom, our adorable puppy groom, as well as the sash around the bride and the bridal bouquet.   Two of the main colors from that swatch were used for the linens and the florals, which I imagined being perfect against a lush green natural backdrop.  The reasoning behind the feast of flowers was to create an atmosphere of feasting in a french garden, with a combination of florals, succulents, vegetables, and fruits as the main courses.  Our paper suite was gold and pink French font, flourish and romantic.  Our striped candy kisses was a sweet ending to a wonderful meal!  The "piece de resistance" was the striped organza  Hayley Paige wedding gown, playing off the stripes in the inspiration fabric.  Which was shipped straight from the runway in New York"

{Danielle + Michael}

There were so many sweet moments at Danielle and Michael's wedding! One of my favorites, I don't know if it was Danielle's, but, right after her dad saw her in her wedding gown for the first time, he had a a picture with him from the day she was born:-)  It was non-stop awesomeness the entire day from getting ready, to the moment they saw each other, to all the funny things going on in the photobooth during the reception.  The style was old Hollywood vintage glam, I LOVE all the details you will see:-)  All her bridesmaids live in different places and their dresses were all totally different, but randomly all of the shoulder!  Michael is in the band Miggs, and he surprised Danielle by writing and recording a song to her for their first dance.  She told me he sings backup so she hasn't really heard him sing lead before and OMG it was gorgeous!  Everything was outdoors except for dinner underneath a tent with vintage candleabras, mercury glass, old books, and a really cool gold chair at their sweetheart table.  The ceremony was over the covered pool with a shabby chic fireplace and lots of framed family pictures.  The photobooth, Michael built that!  Danielle's grandparents were so cute and so excited to see her as a bride, we even got grandpa to dance with her:-)  You could feel the love and friendship that they shared with everyone there and I hope this helps you to feel what we say and a little taste of the beauty of the day.  Congrats Michael and Danielle you were a joy to work with!!! xoxoxox
