When I was planning locations with Casey for her and Wayne’s engagement session we landed on Ballast Point Park which is one of my favorites!! It’s kind of a hidden gem, with its enchanting dock extending gracefully into Tampa Bay and a canopy of trees casting a nostalgic, old Southern vibe over brick-paved streets, proved to be a dreamy setting. It’s also dog friendly which was a must so that their sweet pup MJ could be a part of it!

All you really need for a great engagement session is a super fun couple and a spot with gorgeous light and that’s what we had for Madison and Chris’ session. I love new places, and sometimes not even preparing, but just showing up and seeing what I see. Madison had this great little spot she sent me the coordinates to and it had awesome trees and tall whispy grasses that was just so pretty!! They are getting married at Legacy Lane Farm next October and their save the dates will totally set the tone as this is a different location but totally goes with the gorgeous outdoor vibe of Legacy Lane.
