{Autumn & Collin @Postcard Inn}

Autumn and Collin are both audiologists and met while working on their doctorates.  They went separate directions for residency, Autumn in Little Rock and Collin in Phoenix. In their 4th year, Autumn randomly decided to visit Collin and they have been inseparable ever since!  I LOVE the details and colors of their wedding.  The girls dresses are from White House Black Market and Autumn got them tan Toms wedges and chunky orange jewelry.  Autumn told me Collin is the more stylish of the two of them as she opened her gifts from him, cute Tory Burch flats and pearl earrings from Tiffanys.  He gets super bonus points for 2 of the best "T" brands:-)  Collin is from Michigan and Autumn got him Shinola watch that is a company founded in Detroit.  The boys wore tan suits, Sperrys with orange laces and bottoms, argyle socks, and orange and blue ties.  Apparently during Collin's bachelor party they met this random guy named Todd, that was giving them horrible advice on marriage so they had bracelets made that said "WWTD" for What Would Todd Do? hilarious.  Autumn walked up to Collin for their first look in the courtyard before the ceremony and Collin had a little bit of "eye sweat" that his brother told me never happens so it was really sweet.  Autumn's brother, Austin, officiated and he had everyone laughing historically when he said "I know we're from Arkansas, but I never thought I would be marrying my sister".  During the cocktail hour while we were doing pictures at sunset, Rachel was 2nd shooting with me and got everyone on the balcony for a surprise group photo.  They had a monogrammed custom corn hole game, lanterns, orange and white straws, koozies, and postcards from their travels on all the tables.  We did a canvas for their guests to sign from their engagement session, I always love how those turn out.  Instead of a cake they did tiny cupcakes and their favorite cookies which are huge chocolate chip and sea salt from Datz's bakery Dough.  Not gonna lie, I was at Datz not too long after and had to get another one, SO yummy!  Makes me happy to see them so happy.  Congrats Autumn and Collin!!! xoxoxo

{Devon & Chad @Hilton Clearwater Beach}

Devon, Chad, and their family and friends traveled from all over Canada for their destination wedding.  It was just plain fun and laid back.  They wrote their own sweet vows to each other and for the unity ceremony put letters they had written to each other in a box of wine.  When life gets a little crazy, they can open the box read their letters and enjoy a glass of their favorite wine and remember how much they love each other:-)  We did a little bit of dodging the rain, but the sky turned dark blue with a pretty sunset for us.  Coral and green were the colors, and they had their guests sign a wooden surfboard.  Fun memories had by all!  Congrats Devon and Chad!!!!!

{Richelle & Josh @Tradewinds Resort}

I love the Dr Seuss quote Richelle & Josh had on their program, it said  "We're all a little Weird. And Life's a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it Love."  How true is that?  While the girls were getting their hair and makeup done, you can see the guys were having a pretty stressfull afternoon of paddle boats and mini golf:-)  On Richelle's side there were 4 generations of girls, Richelle, Her mom, Her Grandmother, and her super cute Great Grandmother who is 93 in attendance.  After being announced as husband and wife for the first time, Richelle and Josh high fived, It's one of their little things they do together when they are in agreement on something.  The sunset on the beach that day was stunning.  Their reception decor was soft blush linens, candlelight, crystals, and white and pink florals.  Lots of tears and sweetness during their dances, especially RIchelle and her dad.  After dancing the night away, their guests said goodbye and took home a special favor "Smore Love".  Congrats Richelle & Josh!!!!  xoxoxo

{Samantha & Ryan @ The Italian Club}

It was SO hard for me to choose which images to post to tell Samantha and Ryan's story because there are just so many things I could say and post:-)  Samantha is not only gorgeously stunning but also so thoughtful.  Her gift to Ryan was a lot of little things she has kept over the years (11 to be exact that they have been together:-) and some fun things for their Italian honeymoon.  Ryan gave Samantha what every girl loves getting, a Tiffany's box with a pearl bracelet that matched her dress perfectly.  The girls got ready in the bridal suite at the Don Vicente.  The style of that inn goes so perfectly with their reception being at the Italian Club.  Samantha's dad had the best reaction when he saw his little girl in her gown:-)  The color palette was lavender, moss green, and champagne complete with guys in bow ties and fun socks.  Ryan's dad was his best man.  I've said it before, but I always love when especially dad's are involved, and you could tell both Ryan and Samantha's parents were so happy for them.  Samantha's cousin Matthew assisted the priest in the ceremony, and since he has known her since she was little, that made it really special.  Along the way we got to stop and some of the best places in Tampa for photos:-)  The Italian Club is 3 levels, cocktail hour on the first floor, a really awesome photo booth on the 2nd floor (that Samantha's dad made!) and reception on the 3rd floor. One of their family traditions is to have a table with all different cookies.  The song she and her dad danced to was one that he actually sang and recorded.  Their guests enjoyed delicious cuisine by Puff n Stuff, a fun party DJ'd by Michael from Grant Hemond, beautiful decor by Botanica, and the day would not have gone off without a hitch without Brooke from r.s.b.p Events.  We loved every minute of it!!!  Congrats Samantha and Ryan!  xoxoxo

{Karen & John @ Safety Harbor Resort}

Karen's gown had flowers down the back of one hip and in the middle of the top flower she pinned a butterfly broach.  She and her sister loved playing in her mother's  jewelry box when they were little, and when she needed something blue she remembered the butterfly.  John's son Robert was his best man.  Karen's best friend Kay was her maid of honor.  I LOVE the favors, Karen actually made them, mini succulents in little ceramic birds.  The decor was perfect spring colors of soft greens and yellows.  The centerpieces were pretty flower boxes with tulips and grass.  The cake topper was a bride and groom custom made in their exact dress detail and uniform, evan the medals on the grooms uniform were exact!  Paper butterfly place cards were on each champaign glass.  Both John's and and his son's toast were about how much Karen loved her sports teams and how competitive she is.  John's son was thrilled that Karen enjoyed watching sports and that she is the perfect match for his dad.  Since it was a morning wedding, we actually did their photos after the reception was over so it was nice to have time to take advantage of the awesome spots in Safety Harbor.  Congrats Karen and John!!!  xoxox

{Megan & Joel @ The Lange Farm}

I honestly don't think there are nicer people, more deserving of a happy life together than Megan and Joel.  Megan is an ER nurse, and Joel is a fireman.  They met while Megan was on a ride along.  When I first met with them Megan, she told me how important their wedding photography was to them, and that she felt that prints and albums are a lost art that she absolutely wanted.  I need to do a video with them because that is exactly what I say!  She was a little worried about the getting ready pictures because they couldn't get ready at a beautiful, ornate hotel because she wanted to be close the the Lange Farm.  This year I've been playing a lot with off camera flash especially during getting ready time and I think it turned out pretty awesome!  The boys had WAY too much fun, finding frogs, goofing around, and there might have been an incident where someone fell off a swing although not totally confirmed:-)  I love the moment they saw each other before the ceremony, their joy was indescribable.  The girls deep blue dresses and blue roses looked amazing.  There was also a very friendly horse that was happy to be in some pictures.  I love what Pastor Gary said during the ceremony, he said, "in marriage, think we before I" and it is so true.  Megan surprised Joel with a fire helmet groom's cake, which didn't get cut so I hope they got to enjoy it!  Megan's cousin has cancer, and something I thought was really awesome is they did the dollar dance, but all of the dollars went to benefit him and help with medical bills.  Megan changed into a fun short dress and cowboy boots to party it down!  I am so blessed to be able to "work" with such amazing people and am so thankful.  Congrats you guys!!! xoxoxo

{Michele & Brian @ Innisbrook Resort}

Michele and Brian tied the knot on the same exact date and Michele's grandparents anniversary.  The weather was perfect for a beautiful outdoor ceremony.  Michele loved playing marbles with her grandmother so her something blue was actually a blue marble.   Instead of a six pence, she had a 1908 dime taped in each shoe, the same ones her grandmother had in her shoes.  I love that split second moment just before she walked down the aisle that her dad kissed her:-) Their details and florals were pink and mercury.  Michele and Brian shared a sweet first dance, and when Michele danced with her dad they surprised everyone and definitely busted a move!  Here's some of our favorite moments!  Congrats Michele and Brian!!  xoxoxo

{Melissa & Stephen @ Westin Tampa Bay}

Yellow and gray, paper pinwheels everywhere, hints of succulents, milk glass, mercury glass, chevron.  Melissa and Stephen's wedding was completely gorgeous and amazing!!  Melissa's gown was beautiful layered organza with a gray sash and jewels. When her dad saw her all he could say is WOW:-)  The girls had giant paper flowers instead of bouquets, which is what was the finishing touch for the head table.  They got married as the sun was setting on the 7th floor sky terrace and then headed to the top floor for a cocktails, dinner, and dancing.  It was the most perfect evening, especially for their guests to be on the outdoor deck overlooking the lights on the bay.  We are so happy we got to be a part of Melissa and Stephen's special day!  Congrats you guys!!! xoxox

{Erica + Tanner @Treasure Island Yacht Club}

Erica had the cutest navy, blue, and white paisley robes for her girls!  We all know guys don't take nearly as long as girls to get ready so Tanner and the boys were doing what they do best, playing video games:-)  Their ceremony was on the outdoor patio of the Yacht Club, the ring bearers and flower girl....adorable!!  The reception decor was navy and white with simple white center pieces.  Tanner and Erica had a pretty fantastic entrance into the reception and proceeded to go into a choreographed flash mob number with the entire bridal party!  During toasts Tanners siblings loooove him and Erika, each one got up and gave a separate toast welcoming Erika and congratulating their brother. His sisters gave tear filled toast's to their sister and new brother in law.  After that it was all party!! Congrats Erica and Tanner!!!! xoxoxo

{Summer + Ben @Safety Harbor Resort & Spa}

Red with accents or gold and pink!  Summer looked stunning and was so excited to walk down the aisle and say I do to Ben!  Her bouquet was wrapped in pearls from her grandmother's veil and she wore a little blue star pin that was also from her.  As their guests walked up to the ceremony there was a sign that said "Today Two Families are becoming one so pick a seat not a side" love that!  The patio at Safety Harbor had gorgeous bold red florals and the reception also decked out in red and gold with textured red linens.  One of the ushers had a pretty fantastic entrance as you will see:-)  Ben was so sweet dancing with his mom, I think we caught a tear.  Congrats Summer and Ben!!! xoxoxox

{Mariangela + Mark @Hunters Green Country Club}

Sylense and Linda rocked this wedding big time!!!!  It makes me smile looking at Mariangela and Mark's wedding story.  Mari's mother, Angela, custom made Mari's gown, which was a gorgeous 2 piece gown that she could remove the skirt during the reception and became a short cocktail dress.  Angela also hand made Mari's sister's dress and her own.  Seriously stunning, she is so talented!  Her veil is a family heirloom that her grandmother hand stitched.  Not only is Mari a gorgeous bride, but she is also a surgeon.  Mark is a carpenter and actually hand made their rings out of wood.  He is also Hungarian and one of his family members brought Mari's jewelry back from Hungary as well.  Mari and Mark are the sweetest and so much fun, they are just happy being together.  They were also up for anything including laying in the grass and running down the long wooden bridge, those are some of my favs!!!!  Congrats you guys!!!! xoxoox
