{Kristina & Jeff @ The Renaissance Vinoy Hotel}

Kristina & Jeff’s aka #jeffstinawedding on new year’s eve was the absolute perfect ending to 2015!  Our brides have the best taste in wedding gowns, and Kristina’s was an absolutely stunning champagne/blush gown from Kleinfeld’s in NYC.  One of her friends had a beautiful “B” broach made as a gift to go on her bouquet, with photos of their loved ones who were there in spirit.  When I was talking photos of the girls shoes, their adorable little ring bearer wanted his flip flops in the lineupJ I have to say, Jeff wins the prize for my most favorite detail of 2015.  His cufflinks were unicorns, LOVE!!!!!!!  We did a first look in the garden and some bridal party photos before the ceremony at dusk in the tea garden.  The ring bearer took a little detour to say hi as he walked down the aisle!  They said their I do’s with in a rose petal and candle lit ceremony with the Vinoy as the backdrop.  Since it was dark out after the ceremony I got to do some extra creative video light photos of them in different spots.  Yesterday I posted a photo Kristina Jeff with a random little boy in the background that was so cute, and I didn’t notice while I was shooting.  Kristina told me he told them they would have kids someday and to be nice to them!  Words of wisdomJ  One side of the ballroom was decorated with blush/white florals, and black and silver accents for dinner and toasts.  After dinner, they pulled back the curtain that made it a separate space for the party!  They had a sweets table, 2016 photobooth with a live instagram feed, and late night snacks.  Just before midnight everyone got champagne and headed up to the Esplanade to watch the fireworks in downtown St. Pete.  We had so much fun with these 2 and could not be happier for them!!  Congrats Kristina & Jeff!!! xoxoxox

{Angela & Tommy @The Palmetto Club}

Angela and Tommy made a very unique entrance into their ceremony.  They each walked into the sanctuary on opposite side with their parents.  Their parents walked down the aisle and then Angela & Tommy walked down the aisle together.  They had the cutest group of flower girls and ring bearers all in white and black.  Angela wore a beautiful long sleeve lace overlay, and the girls were in different hues of blue while the guys were in black and white.  After they were officially Mr & Mrs Tellson, their guests played corn hole and badminton on the lawn at the Palmetto Club while we took photos of them in the lush garden. They had a kids table with all kinds of activities to keep them busy, and Puff N Stuff even had a special buffet just for them.  Angela’s family is from Germany and surprised them with the Umbrella game! Angela’s mom, aunt, and cousins entered in full German attire. Angela and Tommy got to choose guests to open a letter and do whatever the letter said with the couple.  Angela’s cousin performed an amazing Bavarian dance and then everyone enjoyed all sorts of German desserts!  We stole them away for a few photographs and night and you could just feel the joy and love these 2 have for each other! Congrats Angela & Tommy!!! xoxoxo

{Melissa & Joshua @ The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay}

Melissa & Joshua live in Germany, but flew home for a sweet, intimate wedding with their family at The Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay.  Melissa's dad had the biggest smile on his face when he saw his beautiful daughter before they walked down the boardwalk to meet Joshua. Right after the sunset we went up to Armani's on the rooftop to catch the beautiful dusk sky and views of the bay.  Congrats Melissa & Joshua!

{Kayla and Alex @ Lange Farm}

Navy, cream, and gold with orange accents was the color palette for Kayla and Alex’s elegant garden house wedding.  Kayla’s lace gown had off the shoulder cap sleeves with a navy and cream sash, so pretty! Her bridesmaids all wore different styles of navy dresses that coordinated perfectly with the guys beige suits and navy ties. The orange floral accents they had for the ceremony and in the flowers looked so pretty against the outdoor backdrop.  Dusk time there is just gorgeous!  We got so many beautiful shots of these two, and the weather was just perfect!  The reception was decorated with navy and gold linens, orange floral center pieces, and a s’more for each of their guests to take home!  Their sweets table was to die for with cake, truffles, and all kinds of treats to dip in the chocolate fountain!  Kayla and Alex’s son Josh, had a special seat at the sweetheart tableJ So many sweet memories made up their story and we loved capturing it!  Congrats Kayla and Alex!!! xoxoxo

{Tiffany & Phil @The Regent}

Tiffany and Phil's wedding on 6.28.14 ended our very busy June and I have to say every single aspect of their wedding is why I absolutely LOVE photographing weddings.  Tiffany and Phil met in middle school, riding the same bus together.  They became friends and in high school Tiffany was a cheerleader and Phil was a basketball player. In 11th grad Phil asked her out and they have been inseparable ever since.  Tiffany had several letters to read, the first was from her dad, paired with a bottle of Crystal in a beautiful box. Next was a sweet letter written by her brother Roger, and then Phil wrote her 2 letters.  The second letter was a really funny one like they would write and pass in school:-)  The girls wore blush gathered gowns with pink and gold jewelry and the boys wore gray suits with blush ties.  I absolutely love the elegant style of everything from the florals to the cake, it was stunning!  Their ceremony was inside draped in white and florals lining the aisle.  Philip's grandfather officiated the ceremony and pronounced them man and wife!  We had SO much fun with the bridal party, and in fact Cody who was one of the groomsmen, is Tiffany's cousin.  We'll be photographing he and his fiancee, Gianna's wedding in November:-) The reception was draped and decorated with high and low center pieces with golden lines and lace overlays. Each place setting had a little jar of honey that said "Meant to Bee".  The cake done was the most intricate and beautiful one I think I've ever seen. The hand made lace intricacy was amazing. I have to tell you a funny story during the cake cutting because Sylense may have been the only one who saw it.  There was a round smaller cake next to Tiffany and Phil's cake.  While they were getting ready to cut their cake, Lexi the adorable flower girl stealthly ran up to the table and licked from bottom to the the edge of the smaller cake.  We could not stop laughing about it and she's a very smart little girl:-)  There was amazing toasts, delicious food, and the most fun dance party ending with Tiffany singing to the crowd.  And off they were. Congrats Tiffany and Phil!!!!! xoxoxo

{Mary & Dan @Hilton Clearwater Beach}

Mary and Dan, along with all their guests traveled from 13 different states and a total of 97.793 miles!!  They had a map with locations where everyone came from!  The locket Mary wore was the one her father gave her mother on their wedding day 12.27.74!  The beach was decorated with a burlap runner, seashells and pink rose petals.  Dan's sister officiated the ceremony and a HUGE storm rolled in at the moment they said "i do".  They sealed it with a kiss the flood gates opened!!!  Their theme was travel and at the entrance of the ballroom was a mailbox with postcards from all different locations.  The guests were to find one from where they are from and write a message and put it the mailbox.  Such a cute idea instead of a guestbook!  Their place cards were custom printed boarding passes with each guests' name and table.  Each table was named after airport codes as well.  I love how they tied in the travel theme in really unique ways.  After the rain let up we took them outside for some sunset photos and the sky was a pretty light purple.  Phase 5 made it an amazing party!!  Congrats Mary and Dan! xoxox

{Kerri & Nick @Hilton Clearwater Beach}

Nick and Kerri had the most perfect beach wedding! The ceremony was on the white sand beach at the Hilton Clearwater and they had an outdoor reception on the Sandpiper Deck.  Nick and his guys got in "super wedding mode" by putting on their AWESOME super hero socks! Some had capes and some had wings!  They not only had cool socks but gray 2 toned shoes as well.  Kerri wore a gorgeous lace dress and the girls had short champagne colored lace dresses that matched perfectly.  She even sported some Wonder Woman socks with the guys:-)  Nick was brought to tears at the sight of his gorgeous bride during their first look. The ceremony was under an arch of gorgeous flowers. They had a really cool variation of a time capsule. There was a bottle of Silver Oak wine encased in a pretty white box.  Both Nick and Kerri wrote letters to each other, sealed them, and stuck them in the box during the ceremony. It was said that if in the event they have an argument, go get the box, open the wine and take a minute to read the letters they wrote to each other on their wedding day.  On their 10 year anniversary, if they have not opened the box, they are to do so and celebrate!!  The reception decor was beautiful beach wood trees with flowers and starfish/sand dollar decorated place cards. Each place setting had a special treat.  Inside was a message in a bottle thanking everyone for coming and a yummy cake pop! "Baba", Nick's grandma made the bread for the special Bulgarian Bread Dance that they did at the reception.  Nick's brother gave a toast and said Kerri was a keeper because she could hold her own in the family board game night:-)  It was Morgan (aka Boogin), one of Kerri's bridesmaids 30th birthday and they had really special Monopoly cake for her!  The rest of the night was ridiculous amounts of dancing and fun had by all!!  Congrats Kerri and Nick!!! xoxoxo

{Andrea & Brian @Edson Mansion - Phillippi Estate, Sarasota}

Andrea and and Brian had the prettiest vintage, southern, pink and gray wedding!  I love the girls different shades of pink dresses and the flower girls wore lace dresses with flower crowns.  Andrea had a broach bouquet that included a broach from her grandmother, mother and mother in law.  Andrea wore super high and fabulous Betsy Johnson shoes.  Brian made all of the wood signs, there was one that said Mr & Mrs, Thanks Y'all and the funniest one was the one the ring bearer had it said "Last Chance to Run".   Her grandfather officiated the ceremony and her mom walked her down the aisle to meet Brian.  Tons of pretty pink florals decorated their ceremony in the round.  The reception was inside the mansion with pink linens, mercury glass candelabras and a really awesome white couch at their sweetheart table.  They had sweet tea vodka lemonade as their signature drink and a cigar roller.  Andrea changed into a short fun party dress and it was literally the most perfect and beautiful evening for them to move the party outside.  After all the fun the headed to Napa for their honeymoon!!  Congrats Andrea and Brian!! xoxoxo

{Ciara + Nathan @Cross Creek Ranch}

Ciara and Nate met in the Army and both LOVE animals!  They already gotten married while in Afghanistan to keep them from getting separated from each other.  All the girls wore cowboy boots, and the boys wore Converse with green laces.  Ciara's garter was camo with an Army badge on it.  Their dog and Ciara's sister's dog also walked down the aisle and were part of the bridal party.  It was a very rainy day, but that didn't stop them from having their ceremony outside under umbrellas.  Their flower girls and ring bearer were adorable and the ring bearer actually slept all the way down the aisle.  Their color was green so it must have been for extra good luck!  Instead of gifts, they asked their guests to donate to an animal shelter, which I think is an awesome idea.  There were chalkboards with paw prints, special green drinks, and black damask linens.  It was all about celebrating with friends and family, and that they did:-)  Congrats Ciara and Nate!! xoxoxo

{Catherine & John @ The Club Continental}

This one is a little extra special:-)  Catherine is my husband, David's only first cousin and we are so excited for her and John!  Yellow is Catherine's favorite color, and I love this combination of yellow and gray.  She got her girls gray robes with their initials, and cute patterned yellow clutches.  There was a chevron one I almost stole it:-)  Just kidding but I did think about it!  John's niece Graelyn was their flower girl and wore a yellow tutu. Gray dresses and yellow heels for the girls, and for the boys gray suits and yellow patterned ties.  It was a little bit of a bittersweet day because Catherine's mom, Faye, passed away about about 7 years ago.  She thought way ahead about her little girl's wedding and had a beautiful pearl bracelet with a diamond clasp as a gift for her.  Aunt Faye was a super fun lady and was definitely smiling down on them.  The Club Continental is a beautiful property, huge trees, gardens, and right on the water.  They did first look just outside the garden as the bridal party watched from afar on the balcony.  The got married under the big oak tree.  Milk glass with yellow florals and little birds as their cake topper.  Catherine was a Dazzler at the University of Florida so she definitely wow'd the crowed with their first dance, and I've gotta say John has some pretty sweet moves too:-)  You know it's a party when all the grandparents are dancing the whole time!  It makes me happy to see them so happy:-)  Congrats you guys it was so beautiful and amazing to be a part of!!  xoxox

{Melissa & Stephen @ Westin Tampa Bay}

Yellow and gray, paper pinwheels everywhere, hints of succulents, milk glass, mercury glass, chevron.  Melissa and Stephen's wedding was completely gorgeous and amazing!!  Melissa's gown was beautiful layered organza with a gray sash and jewels. When her dad saw her all he could say is WOW:-)  The girls had giant paper flowers instead of bouquets, which is what was the finishing touch for the head table.  They got married as the sun was setting on the 7th floor sky terrace and then headed to the top floor for a cocktails, dinner, and dancing.  It was the most perfect evening, especially for their guests to be on the outdoor deck overlooking the lights on the bay.  We are so happy we got to be a part of Melissa and Stephen's special day!  Congrats you guys!!! xoxox

Kristen & Will are featured on Head Over Heels!

Kristen seriously had some of the most beautiful and creative details for she and Will's wedding in Fort Lauderdale at the Riverside Hotel.  Romantic and old Hollywood I think, best describe their wedding style and with the uplighting, gorgeous florals, and beautiful setting it was photographer eye candy:-) I'm excited to share that you can check out their wedding story on Head Over Heels blog today!!

{Caroline + Mike @Postcard Inn}

It was a beautiful sunny Florida day. Caroline wore the most beautiful two toned gown! It had an elegant twist tie at the bodice.  Mike wore a J Crew suit with Sperry boat shoes. When we asked them how they met the bride blushes and said "in a pub" "how romantic"! Then laughed! But you would have thought they were high school sweethearts with the beautiful bond and love they share. While getting ready Mikw showed us the way he proposed...He and Caroline love Taco Bell, and on a trip to FL he had a custom hot sauce packet made with "will you marry me" on it! So funny and creative!  The ceremony was on the lawn at the Postcard Inn. The guests had cute little aqua fans at each seat to cool themselves off with. The groom smiled in awe as his beautiful bride to be was escorted down the isle. There was a moment of "oh no" then laughter when the ring bearer dropped the rings when handing them to Mike.  The reception was under the canopy of trees and lanterns, also on the lawn. Tables were adorned with candy vases and bouquets of smiley face lollipops for the kids tables and the rest of the tables had beautiful clusters of roses. Mason jars serve as water glasses and starfish place card holders were at each seat. The perfect setting for an outdoor beach wedding.  The best man, brother of the groom, wrote his best man speech on the back of a paper plate:-)  Mike surprised Caroline with a gift that was a framed picture of their 2 dogs all dressed up since they couldn't be there.  Caroline changed into a stylish "mini dress" so she could get her groove on the dance floor and the groom changed into shorts!  Everyone flocked to the dance floor when the brides "song" came on..."Sweet Caroline".  It doesn't get any better than that! Congrats you 2!! xoxoxo

{Jackie + Brian @Mahaffey Theater}

Brian and the boys all wore suites except one had a tux on see if you can find him!  Jackie and Brian got married under the canopy of trees at Sunken Gardens at dusk.  They had an amazing reception at the Mahaffey Theater.  Four Star Riot totally rocked the party!  Lots of dancing, laughing and having a fabulous time was seriously going on there.  Congrats you guys!!  xoxoxo

{Dawn + Jason @T. Pepin Hospitality Center}

 Dawn and Jason planned a classic and romantic red, black, and white wedding.  Dawn was so happy and excited to walk down the aisle.  Jason is very funny and unpredictable, after they were announced for the first time at the end of the ceremony he high fived the entire first row:-)  I love the lighting and fountains at Pepin especially in the evening, and the flowers on top of the gate matches the bridal party perfectly!  When the band can go from playing Taylor Swift, to AC/DC, to that Party Rockin song it doesn't get any better than that!  They also did something special for the kids there, the MOH and best man did the teddy bear toss which I hadn't seen before, but they loved it!  Kandice was shooting with me and thought of my new favorite ring shot!  Since it was 11.12.11 and they have pool tables....you'll see:-)  It was an amazing day that we so enjoyed being a part of.  Congrats Dawn and Jason!!  xoxoxoxo

{Whitney + Clark @ Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate }

Romantic and Classic with deep red roses and black and white accents.  That was the look and feel of Whitney and Clark's wedding at Omni Resort in Orlando.  It was a beautiful day and the sunlight was amazing for a wedding on the lawn.  The cake was flying and everyone had a blast!  Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Mulder!! xoxoxox

{Melody + Justin @Postcard Inn}

You can't help but smile seeing Melody and Justin's sweet and romantic wedding at the Postcard Inn.  She went for a vintage glam look and actually had her mother's dress re-designed so she could wear it.  Part of her decor was pictures of her parents and grandparent's weddings so you can actually see what her mom's original dress looked like:-)  They did the sand ceremony, but a really unique take on it I thought.  They poured the sand into a frame that had their picture in it, such a cool thing to keep and look back on.  Their reception was under the sky and lantern lit trees as it should be.  Congrats Melody and Justin!!!! xoxoxo

{Emily + David @Tampa Museum of Art}

We had the perfect view of the Red Bull Flugtag from the 12th floor of the Marriott Waterside.  Definitely entertainment while the bridal party was getting ready!  Emily is a talented and creative graphic artist and she custom designed all the stationary to give there wedding a really unique and personal feel.  Dave is a very funny and mischeovious one, as you will see during the ceremony and their cake cutting!  I love the style and color choices of gray and yellow for the Tampa Museum of Art.  On the back of Emily's program, she designed a cross word puzzle about she and David.  We setup something a little different for their first look.  It was in the "round" at the amphitheather in Curtis Hixon Park so we got several different views as the turned around to face each other for the first time with their bridal party watching!  They are also big foodies and Mise En Place is definitely delicious.  Their food stations were all of their favorite different types of cuisine.  Emily surprised David with a very interesting groom's cake that is the logo of one of his favorite bands.  The Lengendary JC's rocked the party and it was a totally amazing day!!  Congrats Emily and David xoxoxo!

{Jenny + Jason @The Don Cesar}

Jenny and Jason's wedding was very "Tommy Bahama Rustic" in style.  Events in Bloom created that look by using lots of succulant plants in their florals, decor, boutuets, and centerpieces.  I Wikipedia's those plants so here's the formal definition: Succulent plants, also known as succulents or fat plants, are water-retaining plants adapted to arid climates or soil conditions.  Anyway, I love the look that included burlap accents on the tables, favors and even on the cake!  The lighting turned out to be beautiful after the rain decided to stay away.  Jenny looked beautiful in her all lace gown with a tan satin sash, they girls had fun flowy dresses and the colors all were such a nice contrast.  They definiitely partied the night away.  Congrats Jenny and Jason so glad we could capture your wedding story!!  xoxoxo
