Jennifer & Aaron live in Cambridge, MA and had an intimate wedding ceremony this past May in New Hampshire. They chose the Hilton Clearwater Beach to bring their family and friends together to celebrate with them. Aaron’s grandparents have been married 61 years and are just the cutest! We had a gorgeous sunset and the perfect evening for dancing on the sandpiper deck. These 2 are so sweet and we had an amazing time capturing their reception! xoxo
I learned that Mike is super crafty. He actually hand crafted their ring box and all the girls foot jewelry for the beach! Melissa said he was bored during hurricane Irma. They literally had the perfect weather for their wedding on the beach and Sandpiper deck at the Hilton Clearwater Beach. Melissa's twin sister, Megan, (AKA fake Melissa:-) was her maid of honor and Mike's dad was his best man. I love the custom wooden boxes that matched the guys sunglasses that Mike had gotten them as a gift. In true beach style the girls were in teal dresses and the guys in tan shorts and Sperrys. They all had so much fun getting ready, and that was just the beginning! Before the ceremony we got Mike all set behind a sand dune ready to see his bride. He had her do a little spin and then he did one too! They had "shoe parking" for their guests so they could have their toes in the sand. Teal and green florals with greenery behind decorated their arch. I know sometimes people think if you do first look that it's not as meaningful a moment when the groom sees the bride walking down the aisle, but Mike had one of the sweetest reactions when he saw Melissa walking toward him. There were some surprise seagull guests that decided to join us for a few photos as well! The overcast sky was awesome after the ceremony. As we headed down the beach the paddle boards and canoes were all packed up but they happened to match their wedding colors perfectly, how awesome is that? The girls found a sand beach bunny that needed to be in a photo with their flowers. Since it was cloudy we did sunset photos a little earlier so Melissa and Mike got to go to their cocktail hour and enjoy the food and the view. Their colors looked fabulous on the deck and there were little wooden sea turtles on everything from the invitations, to the cake, and even the center pieces. Their guests couldn't wait to get the party started, they opened the dance floor during cocktail hour. The toasted, and ate, and danced, and smoked cigars (while watching the Yankees) with the view of the gulf in the background. Congrats you guys it was amazing!!! xoxoxo

Kourtney & Marcel live in Minnesota, and their friends and family joined them on Clearwater beach for their destination wedding. Our brides always find the most beautiful gowns. Kourtney’s was a simple ivory gown with a lace underlay completed by flowers in hair. Simple but so pretty! Marcel and his groomsmen wore khaki shorts, flip-flops, and ivory linen shirts. Their handsome little ring bearers carried conch shells custom decorated with little starfish and ribbon inside. The ceremony was out on the beach under a trellis decorated with flowers. The overcast sky gave us the prettiest light for photos and we had quite a fun time with the bridal party. The cocktail hour and reception were out on the sandpiper deck decorated with ivory, pink, and purple florals. Their sign-in Jenga game had the perfect message “Marriage is a game of balance, help us build our future. After the sunset, the backdrop for toasts and dinner was a pretty purple hued sky. There was some serious dancing, hanging by the fire pits and really just a fun time celebrating by all. Congrats Kourtney & Marcel!! xoxox

Bailey and Phil are from Chicago and since he proposed to her on the beach they decided to do a destination on the beach as well! One of their traditions is to collect sand from different places they've been so they'll have a special one from their wedding day on Clearwater beach. The girls wore flowy knee length turquoise dresses and the guys were in gray suits with matching ties. I LOVE Phil's cuff links, they were tiny hour glasses with turquoise sand. They wrote their own vows and Phil shared them on the beach with all their friends and family. It was such a beautiful day with not a cloud in the sky! Bailey's new last name is Gelato and she had sunglasses made with their new last name and she also had turquoise sunglasses for their guests during the ceremony. The reception decor was white hydrangea with colorful orchids and candle light. They had a custom wine bottle for everyone to sign. The interesting thing is that Phil had never actually had Gelato! Bailey surprised him during the reception with their very own Gelato bar! Congrats Bailey and Phil!!!! xoxoxox

It was a beautiful day on the beach for Jill and Brian's wedding! The girls wore blue chiffon dresses with green sashes, and flowers in their hair. Jill looked stunning, in her beautiful gown and silver flip flops. You could tell how close Jill is to her sister Sarah, who was her maid of honor, and even though they are 10 years apart they are best friends. The same with Brian, his brother Brad was his Best Man and they are hilarious! They used blue hydrangea and white roses but with blue accents and uplighting. Beach chic I would call it:-) Congrats you guys it was an amazing day!!! xoxoxo
When I first met Chad and Christiana for their engagement session, Chad was kind of quiet and didn't say much but OMG he is hilarious and so sweet:-) The girls got ready downstairs in the Hilton and I love the little spot lights in the dark hallways they made for the perfect light for some amazing shots of Christiana. She was very excited about her gift from Chad which was a fabulous Louis Vuitton handbag. Chad apparently was happy about it as well! Their ceremony musician was amazing, I can only think of one other time that it I've heard the sweetest ear candy you almost forget where you are. He was soooo good! Christiana's uncle also wrote and sang them a really sweet song during the ceremony as well. The flower girl and ring bearer went a little bit rogue, but made some fun sand angels. Christiana had paint brushes for her guests to brush the sand off their feet and these really fun bobble heads at the end of the night for their them as well. It was a beautiful evening with the pink and orange sky and the backdrop for the outdoor reception on the patio. Ok, and this is what I was most excited about. She didn't have an exit planned but wanted to do something. So, I talked her into doing those awesome lanters that you can release into the sky, so cool but a little tricky. Here's some of my favs!!! Congrats to you two!!!! xoxoxoxo

We've been working with a number of destination couples coming to enjoy our beautiful beaches with their closest friends and family. We so enjoyed working with Korissa & Dustin and their guests. Korissa did really fun orange, aqua, and pinks and I love her birdcage veil. She looked stunning!
Emily is a ballroom dancer, Ivan is a personal trainer. Ivan gets up for work every morning at 4am. Emily started riding horses at 6 months old. Together they eat 6 dozen eggs a week and have over 40 pairs of sneakers....... Those were some of the fun facts that were on the tables:-) Of course they had a super fabulous first dance and definitely some serious dancing going on during the reception. It was only fitting that the groom's cake was a 20lb weight. Pink, orange, gorgeous florals, and parasols were the decor. Cheers to Emily and Ivan!
"Love is Sweet" that's what was written in chalk on their candy table. It was the perfect day for a wedding on the beach and reception on the terrace. Gorgeous sunset and the evening sky had a thumbnail of a moon and you can even see some stars! Amber and Shane are such a sweet couple and a big part of their day was sharing gifts with their bridal party. I love the ring bearer's shirt "Ring Security" is what is said. Here's a little sneak into their day. Congrats Amber and Shane!!
The weather cooperated with us for at least a little while yesterday for Kate and Dan's wedding. Thankfully we did all of their pictures beforehand and beat the rain! There was a waterspout way out in the gulf, if you look really close you might be able to see it in the background, how crazy is that! Watermelon pink accents and sunglasses! It was so sweet to see how important and part of the day their daughter Madison was, such a cutie! She even had her own little cupcake:-)
