Isla Del Sol Yacht & Country Club St Petersburg Wedding | Amy & Taylor

Florida is known for its beaches and waterways, so it’s always wonderful when couples embrace both. When Amy and Taylor announced they were celebrating their wedding day at Isla Del Sol, I had a hint that they might be a nautical style embracing pair, and I was right! 

Before Amy and Taylor each departed for Isla Del Sol with their respective bridesmaids and grooms, they spent time getting ready. Once everyone reached the venue, it was time for A and T to share their first look. I always look forward to this moment because it’s filled with emotion, and it’s also one of the best times to capture photos for couples who are eager to attend their cocktail hours. Not to mention, Amy and Taylor wanted to board a boat for their couple’s portraits! The pictures we captured together of them on the boat include some of the best light of the entire day — I love them. 

Amy walked down the aisle, and together she and Taylor recited their vows during their Isla Del Sol ceremony. Then it was time for cocktails with their guests! While everyone was mingling together, I was able to capture detail photos in the reception space where Amy and Taylor’s desert rose, dusty blue, and gold color palette was on full display. 

Amy was vocal about the fact that she and Taylor wanted to stay in the moment with their guests. And everyone was excited to celebrate! The rest of their wedding day was filled with introductions, dances, speeches, an incredible wedding dinner, and plenty of time spent on the dance floor with their guests.
