Hilton Downtown Tampa Event | Bridge Builders - Metropolitan Ministries

Metropolitan Ministries, a pillar of community service in Tampa Bay, has been transforming the lives of homeless and at-risk families since its inception. Bridge Builders, their flagship fundraising event, hosted at the Hilton Downtown Tampa, serves as a vital lifeline, providing the resources needed to continue their mission of compassion and empowerment.

This year’s theme was Building Hope one block at a time. With the stage, lighting, and production by The Production Crew, and even down to the favors being a block reminding the over 1000 attendees they are a piece of building hope in the Tampa Bar Area. With Kelly Ring, board member and Emcee kicking off the event by thanking the countless sponsors who made this event happen from parking to the favors. She interviewed the Principal of Sullivan School, Dave McMeen along with Nicole Boone, VP of Education for Metromin highlighting the amazing accomplishments and progress the school has made.

Each year a person is awarded with the Bridge Builder Award for the work and dedication to the community and this year it was Patricia Sullivan. The highlight at the very end of the event was the Sullivan String Ensemble performance from the kids at the Sullivan school.
