Don Cesar Beach Resort Wedding | Lauren & Ralphie

Newlywed couple standing on the beach at sunset outside their Don Cesar Beach resort wedding.

Lauren and Ralphie’s entire Don Cesar Beach Resort wedding is exactly what it looks like when 2 amazing families come together to celebrate 2 people becoming man and wife! They chose the #pinkpalace to get married and what better main color to have than pink?!!! Honestly, I could write a book about all the amazing moments that are a part of their story but I’ll try and keep it short so you can look at all the prettiness. Lauren’s gown was just stunning with that lace overlay over champaign. Ralphie’s mom, Donna, had a little something blue for Lauren to pin in her dress and her dress was also just stunning!! The girls all had pink robes with Lauren’s palm leave robe to match. None of the bridesmaids had seen her in her dress so we had them all hide out and then setup a first look with her completely ready and there was definitely not a shortage of tears. I love the window lit hallways at the Don, we did the bridesmaid and groomsmen photos there separately before. Ralphie’s dad, Ralph, put the finishing touches on his tux and the joy he had for his son was so evident.

Their ceremony was on the lawn with a single cross decorated with florals. I’ve known Ralphie’s parents, Donna and Ralph from our church for several years now and they are some of the best people you will ever meet so watching them walk down the aisle and the emotion they all had was even more special. Pastor Matthew officiated their ceremony and something I love that he usually does is has the couple turn and face their guests to kind of soak in a moment of everyone who is there to celebrate with them but also support them in their marriage. In true St. Pete beach fashion we had one of the most gorgeous pink sunsets ever for their photos.

After some epic entrances, they danced and then one of my favorite parts of the reception were the toasts. Lauren’s dad and brothers talked about how her mom had died when she was just 2 and how her dad ended up becoming mom and dad to raise the 3 of them. Ralphie’s sister Olivia, talked about how she was trying to think of a story to tell about how they fought about something or didn’t get along but she really couldn’t think of anything! Ralphie’s grandma and aunt are just the cutest at 92 and 88 they were busting a move the entire time. Once the dance floor was open it was packed the entire time. Lauren and Ralphie, I could not be more honored to have been there for you guys it was perfection!!! xoxoxo
