Celebrating 50 Years at Isla Del Sol Yacht & Country Club | Evelyn + Jose
50 years is a lifetime of memories, joy, family and most of all, love! Evelyn + Jose invited us to be a part of their anniversary celebration at Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club and we were thrilled to accept! This family of incredibly talented individuals came together to celebrate these two special people and served as their bridal party.
Evelyn looked regal as can be in her wedding dress. I don’t think she stopped smiling all day. Her cascading bouquet of purple florals and white roses had a stunning pin given to her by her sister on the stems. All of the floral design by Iza’s Flowers had this reoccurring cascading element like purple was flowing out of everything, the gazebo, chairs, tables, the works!
Jose is one sharp dresser. He wore his tux with a level of comfort like he wears one everyday.
Evelyn’s father met her at the top of the aisle and proudly walked his daughter down the aisle again just like 50 years hadn’t passed. Jose had tears in his eyes when he saw her which I think just about everyone did at that point.
Their sand ceremony with all of their children and grandchildren was so moving. Where most sand ceremonies just have a couple starting their lives and blending their sand together with the hope of what is to come, a marriage that has spanned 50 years has every one of these people standing with them blended together.
Coastal Coordinating designed a beautiful ceremony and reception space with purple and gold details as well as a balloon arch with a big 5-0 for guests to do selfies.
There were toasts galore as well as singing performances by their talented family and friends. But the best of the night was the duet by Evelyn + Jose. Brought the house down for sure!
Can’t have a wedding without cake! This 3 tiered masterpiece by Chantilly Cakes was amazingly delish.
Yes that is a conga line!
