We started the day off early at The Renaissance Vinoy with the girls and guys. It's always so much fun to feel the excitement and joy that is in the air. David got some bonus points for his gift of Louis Vuitton:-) Her gown was so beautiful, layers and layers of silk organza. The girls were in black dresses with pink heels, gerbera daisies, and I LOVE Ashley's bouquet, white anemones. Their ceremony was at Christ the King Catholic Church. Monsignor Higgins made a special trip to the church to perform the ceremony. As we got back to the Vinoy, Charlie Crist randomly happened to be at the Vinoy and took a pic with the bridal party:-)
The ballroom was STUNNINGLY beautiful. Tall black centerpieces with white and pink florals, crystals, and candles decorated the tables. Monogrammed drink koozies and "kisses" from the bride and groom were the favors. The Chihuly glass chandelier is one of the most unique pieces of decor.
The toasts were possibly the best we've heard. The maid of Honor, Allie, sang her speech to the tune of "That's what makes you beautiful"! She had everyone in tears from laughter. She even had props...Gasparilla beads, to represent their times at the parade, a giant plastic lobster and giant engagement ring, to represent David's proposal (while on a boat lobstering in the Keys!)
Ashley had a special mother/daughter dance planned for the reception. Such a sweet surprise and special moments. Jessie, one of the bridesmaids, who has been in several of the weddings we've photographed (because she knows everyone!:-), caught the bouquet AND her boyfriend caught the garter! Hmmm, you know what that means! Phase 5 had the party rocking all night long. We had a fantastic group of wedding professionals that made the day flawless for Ashley and David! Congrats!!! xoxox
