The Florida Aquarium Wedding | Elizabeth & Jonathan
The personal details and just plain amazing fun (including us:-) everyone had at Elizabeth & Jonathan’s wedding is what we live for! Elizabeth is basically a mermaid, I mean her instagram is @mermaidliz3036 so when it came time to choose a venue the feel in love with The Florida Aquarium. As the girls were getting ready gifts kept randomly arriving for Elizabeth from Jonathan each was very special including a custom jewelry box with a pearl necklace and earrings to match that gorgeous gown! Elizabeth is an amazing gift giver herself and she surprised her mom with a bridal portrait that she is wearing the exact had her mom wore at her wedding. Just before we left the hotel her dad saw her totally ready and she gave him a special tie and clip to walk her down the aisle.
Jonathan’s son Rory was his best man and he was so proud to stand by his dad on he and Elizabeth’s big day. Elizabeth had some gifts up her sleeve for Jonathan as well! We did a first look with just Jonathan and Elizabeth in the wetlands and then used all the cool and dramatic tanks for their photos with the sea life. The girls’ pink dresses with the pop of color in their bouquets and black tuxes made for a formal but fun look. They had a beautiful ceremony in front of the coral reef tank and had some late arriving penguin guests walk down the aisle just before the bubble curtain and their first kiss! One of their friends had an extra special mermaid gift for them as well:-)
The reception was decorated with driftwood and pops of pink florals with several different unique center pieces. I LOVE the flute of milk with a cookie on top they had for the kids to enjoy the toasts too! The cake was just stunning surrounded by cupcakes with mermaid tails and fish! Elizabeth and Jonathan entered through the smoke screen and after all the dances Elizabeth did a special dance with Rory. It was an amazing time had by all and before we knew it they exited through a sparkler tunnel into a white convertible Jag! We so loved being a part of #hartsandcrafts congratulations!!
