The Florida Aquarium Wedding | Donna & Drew

Donna and Drew, I love these 2! Donna knows what she wants and goes after it, but is so positive and fun to be around. Drew told me this day was all for Donna and I love that about him because it’s so obvious how in love he is with Donna. We started with Donna, her mom, and Maid of Honor getting ready at the Westin Tampa Harbourside. The living room area had a really cool painting and beautiful light that we had to hang the dress on. She had a little photo of her dad who was watching from above on her bouquet, as a little surprise for her mom. I thought that was so cool because even though he wasn’t there in person he was still there walking her down the aisle.

We did first look with them in the wetlands because it’s “almost” like you’re outside and a couple hours before sunset the light is really pretty in there. When Drew turned to look at Donna they had the best reaction!

Their priest officiated a beautiful ceremony in front of the huge tank. Donna did my favorite thing and had the penguins come in as the “late arriving guests”. Such a fun moment and surprise for their guests. Right at the end the bubble curtain came on for their first kiss and they even left it on for me for some of the photos after.

Lets talk about this cake. We got to see Jovanna, from Artistic Whisk set it up and it was stunning! She said the bottom layer is like a little tutu and the top had bride and groom sea horses. The room was lit with candles and submerged orchids with a little bit of sparkle on the tables. Such a fabulous evening for a fabulous couple. Congratulations Donna and Drew!!! xoxox
