Oh man, where do I even begin with these 2? Caitlin and Kyle are one of the sweetest couples and the love their family and friends have for them runs so deep. It takes me forever to decide what to say to really do it justice! When I initially talked to them, I found out Kyle is a Purdue grad like me and Caitlin went to FSU (my husband is a die hard fan even though he didn’t go there:-) we had an instant connection and it was such an honor to be there and share in all these amazing moments they shared on their wedding day. Every detail they had was carefully thought out and planned to make it so personal. Caitlin’s something old was a piece of her mom’s wedding dress wrapped around her bouquet. Her something borrowed was my favorite detail because it was so special. Kyle’s grandfather has passed away a few weeks before the wedding and she included a piece of the ferns from his funeral in her bouquet so he was right there with them. That morning, Caitlin surprised her dad with a little scavenger hunt that ended in finding her something blue which was a Coldplay cover pin that she also had on her bouquet. All her besties and her mom were right there by her side to make sure everything was perfect. I LOVE her gown the detail was stunning and so unique.

We brought in Caitlin’s dad and her brother, Brad to see her completely ready. Her dad said he absolutely loved her dress and she looked more beautiful that he could have ever imagined. After the girls were all ready, Caitlin’s bridesmaids gathered around her and prayed boldly for her and Kyle’s wedding day and far beyond that into the blessing of their marriage and future together. In order to stop everyone from crying they broke out into a song (Lord I Lift Your Name On High) that was a throwback to their youth group days.

The florals with succulents, roses, lily's, and greenery looked so pretty against the girls’ fog gray dresses and the guys navy suits. The guys all wore socks from their alma maters (notice all the Boilermaker socks in there). Kyle had the sweetest notes and gifts for his parents.

Funny story. A few weeks before the wedding I was reviewing the detail they filled out on our wedding planning questionnaire and I noticed that their officiant was one of the pastors from Harborside, but also Pastor Matthew Hartsfield who happens to be the pastor of the church we go to (and my husband David works at:-). Not going to lie, Harborside is my favorite church to photograph weddings at in the Tampa Bay area. It was designed specifically for weddings and as you will see is so beautiful. Kyle had the sweetest look on his face (and a little tear) as he saw his bride walk down the aisle. Their first date together was glass blowing, so for the unity ceremony they poured blue and gray glass pieces together. They exited the chapel and Mr. & Mrs. Myerholtz with all their guests blowing bubbles and Kyle surprised Caitlin with a Mazarati for the getaway car. We used all the pretty spots at Harborside and then headed to Armature Works on the Jolley Trolley for some more and a gorgeous sunset on the dock there.

The Gathering space at Armature Works was decorated with silver chivaris, navy linens, greenery, and farm tables for the head table. They love to play corn hole so their sign in was a custom corn hole set with their monogram on it. They had a Purdue themed mini doughnut table, some of them even with black and gold so we had to put their rings on some. The bridal party made an epic entrance tunnel style before all the reception festivities began. Dances, toasts, cake, and you’ll see a pretty fabulous battle for the bouquet and garter. Before we knew it, it was time for their exit through LED lit balloons. Ashley, and her team at Love Lee Lane did an amazing job making sure every detail was coordinated perfectly. So much love and happiness for you Caitlin and Kyle as you start his new chapter of life together! Thank you for the honor of being there and capturing your best day ever!
