Bakers Ranch Wedding | Marisa & Ricky
Marisa and Ricky had their wedding at the beautiful Bakers Ranch. Marisa is a trainer for Southeastern Guide Dogs which is an amazing organization that trains dogs for the visually impaired and service dogs for veterans. So, of course she and Ricky had 2 of their sweet pups in the wedding helping the ring bearers:-) I love the simple wooden arch with draping and florals on either side, perfect for hanging her gorgeous gown.
Their color palette of gray, lavender, succulents, and greenery was perfect for their ceremony under the ancient oaks. While the girls were getting ready Marisa told me initially she wasn’t going to wear a veil, but had decided to surprise her mom by wearing one that she would see as she walked down the aisle. I love knowing those little things to be on the lookout for. I had to get her mom’s reaction when she saw her arm in arm with her dad, what a beautiful moment that ended up being one of my favorites.
The weather was absolutely perfect for photos in front of the outdoor chapel in with the sun going down behind the trees. The reception was was soft and romantic with lots of draping and candlelight. The cake had different textures and just a hint of gold and lavender and there was a special fishing themed groom’s cake for Ricky! They lowered the chandelier as Marisa and Ricky did their first dance and since there is a balcony you can get these amazing overhead shots of the entire scene from above. Both dad’s gave a toast to the new couple. Ricky’s dad had some marriage advice for his son and made sure to give him a pen and paper to write it down with. While everyone was dancing we snuck them out for some night photos with all the twinkle lights on the love lock bridge and Marisa on the stairwell and then it was sparklers for the grand exit. Such a perfect day for Mr. & Mrs. Blanco!!! Thank you for including us it was amazing! xoxoxo
