Nova 535 Wedding | Alia & Jay

Alia and Jay’s wedding was a fusion of America, British, and Indian accents with amethyst and gold as the color palette. Alia wore a sari for the ceremony with beautiful crystal detail on the back and the perfect Manolo Blahniks. The girls all got ready at their Air B&B on the waterfront in St. Pete while the guys were getting ready at NOVA. Alia and Jay did their first look before the ceremony in the bamboo garden, all the greenery and those colors looked amazing. They spent a few minutes together before all the fun began!

Alia and Jay’s ceremony was also in the bamboo garden after the sunset. Lined with candles, strung lights, and candelabras it was so pretty at night. They did a tasting of different things that are part of a relationship. Lemon for the sour times, honey for the sweet times, vinegar for the bitter times, and hot sauce for the spicy times. They also had a little bag of jelly beans that matched the flavors for each of their guests to participate which was really a cool way to include everyone in their ceremony.

Alia had Amethyst as the color but also actual amethyst as part of the table decor! Black and amethyst table linens with lanterns and floral boxes decorated the tables. They had each table named after a country that their travels had taken them and little pink and gold globes on them as well. They had 2 special serenades from the cutest guests and after dinner Alia changed into an ivory wedding gown for their first dance. Their friends and family traveled from near and very far to celebrate their wedding as well as they are expecting a little baby to arrive in December!
