Meet Carrie - Founder

My background is random, Industrial Engineering, I graduated from Purdue University and am a nerd at heart. I fell in love with photography while on my first mission trip to the Philippines. In 2007, my husband, David, and I left the frozen tundra of Chicago (he's a Florida boy) to start a warmer life in Tampa. That's when I also decided to get off the corporate ladder and build one of my own. I am so fortunate to have found the amazing & talented people on our team. We are each gifted in different ways but cohesive in style and our love for people and photography.  I became a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) and am a very active member of Professional Photographers of America as a mentor and instructor.  My professional passion is photography, and my personal passion is foster & adoption.  In 2014 we adopted 2 sweet baby girls only 4 months apart. My friend Holly and I also started the Promise Love Foundation to help other families break the barriers to adoption. I LOVE scalloping, reality tv, ice cream, and fashion!

Clay professionally re-touches all our work and designs everything from our albums to our branding.  We have worked with Clay to create a custom look that is unique to us.  This allows us to provide a consistent style and workflow to our clients. He cut his design teeth as a Lighting Designer for theatre, dance, and performance companies. For Clay, the transition to editing and photo based design was very simple. Photography is all about light. Editing a picture is all about controlling and shaping that light. He is from Texas, but resides in Columbus, Ohio with his wife Whitney and son Henry. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a degree in design.  When Clay is not behind his 30" monitor you can usually find him having fun with his family, running with the family dog, or playing ultimate frisbee.

Linda is one of our lead photographers, and manages our client communication because that is one of our main priorities.  For as long as she can remember she has had a passion for both taking pictures and getting inspiration from other artists work.  In 2004 she took some photography classes and began working, and learning with other talented photographers.  She is always observing, anticipating, and capturing natural unscripted moments.  Linda grew up in Minnesota and Oregon and currently lives a stones throw from the beach in Bradenton.  She loves traveling, live music, and dogs and horses.

Miriam (or Mir, as everyone calls her) was always the “photographer” in her family.  It has been a passion of hers since getting her very first camera in 1996. Mir was born in Mexico, and her husband is Portuguese.  Her degree is in marketing, which she actually used for 10 years.  Once she got married and started traveling, photography became not only an interest but a career.  She loves capturing special moments and has gotten to photograph people in Spain, Portugal, England, Mexico and the US. She has a boy and a girl who keep her on her toes!  Mir is a dog lover, Reiki Master, has the best and loudest laugh!
