{Melissa & Brian @ Tampa Palms Golf & Country Club}

First off, can we say how stunningly gorgeous Melissa looked in her blush gown?  Brian looked pretty handsome in his coordinating blue suit and pink tie:-)  Their wedding was full of very fun, and personal details which we absolutely love!  They had gift bags waiting for their guests at the hotel that had oranges, since Brian is from Florida, and Buckeye's (the chocolate and peanut butter kind), since Melissa is from Ohio.  Melissa's something old was her grandmother's diamond heart ring that she wore on her right hand. Something borrowed was a bracelet from her mother in law.  Something blue was an embroidered handkerchief and something new was her jewelry and shoes. They didn't see each other before the ceremony but read notes to each other and opened gifts. Brian gave her Michael Kors flip flops and jokingly wrote in the note…just in case you forget your new initials…MK for Melissa Kensrue :) She gave him a blue Kenneth Cole watch to match his suit.  Melissa's bouquet had a pendant from her Maid of Honor with the lyrics to her favorite Hillsong Song. We had an impromptu first look with Melissa's Dad. He was coming up to the bridal suite to see his little girl and I just so happened to catch him before he saw Melissa.  It was one of our favorite moments of the day and beyond sweet. Brian and Melissa's Pastor, Wes, married them under the patio at Tampa Palms with the beautiful view of the golf course. When they had their first kiss one of the little flower girls had the best reaction! The reception decor was pink, gray, and navy with lots of candles and mercury glass. Brian's sister-in-law, Julie, is a NY Pastry chef and made the macron favors. There were some special escort cards that were included at the reception.  Place cards for Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca (for Brian's love of Star Wars:-), their dog Selene, and some of their favorite spots were mixed in with all of their guests cards. Alessi Bakery created their cupcake tower and they made a special cupcake for Brian with all of their icing flavors because during the tasting her tried every flavor, as he should!  Melissa told us they had several events leading up to the day of the wedding, and their whole goal was investing in family, friends, and love. That really was the perfect theme to celebrate their marriage!  Congrats Melissa and Brian it was truly amazing!!! xoxox
