We recently threw a bridal shower for my sis and thankfully the other bridesmaids are crafty:-) Rachel created a really amazing dessert table and favors so I wanted to share some of these fun ideas. She actually created the tiers by gluing together different sized plates and mugs, super easy and made for really nice presentation. The "pucker up" cookies and "oreo balls" were a huge hit. (oreo ball recipe below) Carla's wedding colors are orange and green so she made small 2 tiered cakes one with vanilla and green coconut on top, and orange cake with vanilla frosting, and of course chocolate. The favors were pretzels and cookies dipped in chocolate and little pressed cookies called Pizzelles.
Receipe: Oreo Balls
1 package of oreos (or if you like peanut butter nutter butters are good as well)
8 oz of cream cheese
8 oz of white dipping chocolate (the kind you melt in the microwave and dip strawberries is easiest)
Crush oreos in a food processor or blender and mix with cream cheese. Form into teaspoon size balls and dip in chocolate either halfway or all the way.
