Besides going someplace really amazing, I love destination weddings because of how unique and personal they are. Nicole and Ken had about 30 friends and family join them in Turks and Caicos for their wedding week. It started out with a day of snorkeling and beach barbecue, rehearsal dinner oceanfront, "I do's" on the croquet lawn, and ended with an amazing party. Nicole incorporated some really unique details that made it extra special. Their invitations were passport style with all the travel info for their guests. The escort cards were that game we use to play in school where you pick a number and have to do a truth or dare, such a cute idea that I hadn't even seen before:-) Nicole's mom had bride and bridesmaid survival kits for each of the girls that had all the essentials for the perfect day. Nicole looked stunning and saw Ken for the first time by the reflection pool. I love watching those moments of surprise and joy, seriously I'm amazed that this is what I get to do for a living. A gorgeous sunset, cocktails under the stars, and dancing the evening away. It really was the perfect day.
